Roma is our favorite date night restaurant. The owners, staff, and service are top notch, also so warm and welcoming. The food is impeccable, and incredibly fresh, from the caprese salad, through the homemade pastas, and topped off with the spectacular and homemade tiramisu. The quality and execution of the food is superb, and the wait staff are top notch. Can't wait to see them at their new location!!!!!

The food and service at Ristorante Roma are excellent. My only criticism is that the noise level at peak dinner time is so high that it is difficult to have a conversation at one's table. Some acoustic panels might help remedy this problem.

We tried Roma for the first time last night and were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful everything tasted. My husband and I both ordered calamari, Caesar salads, and pasta with shrimp and scallops. Since we were celebrating his birthday, we also split an order of tiramisu. Our dinners were absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely return!

They were busy but service was outstanding as was the food!!! Their homemade pasta cannot be compared to any other restaurant we have ever been to- it was delicious! Definitely looking forward to visiting them in their new location!

Nice quiet room. John is a good waiter and knows the wine list. Salad were great and improved from the last time I was there. Pasta special was delicious as were the other pasta dishes. We were very pleased.

Spectacular!! How have we lived in Carmel for 9 years and never been to Roma? This is a hidden gem, with wonderful, thoughtful service, delicious house made delicacies, pasta and desserts. We will be back again and again. Oh, did I mention the Belgium chocolate mousse? Magnificent!!

Very awesome, small family owned place! If you want real, authentic Italian food this is the place! The staff was very kind and the food was topnotch! Great service from our waiter! In a world dominated by corporate chains, this place was by far the best place I've eaten at in many years!!! I highly recommend and we will be returning at some point in the future!

Roma is known for the pastas & we ordered a Cornish hen, not a good choice, it was very small & charred but they cooked another one for us. I recommend choosing Italian dishes rather than veer off the menu. Good wine selections & price. John is knowledgeable & great server. Nice intimate cozy environment with Rome murals on the wall. Tiramisu & deserts are FABULOUS.
