At Ristorante Giorgia, we want all of our customers to experience an authentic Italian dinner, cooked with the freshest of ingredients. After all, isn't that what Italian food is all about?
Allora, mangia bene, vivi bene, e buon appetito.
Chef and owner, Francesco Panucci
We are regular customers. Food is always first rate. Last year they had a lot of turnover in the waitstaff and some issues. They recently brought in some new personnel and the dining room is running much smoother.
This was a return visit for half of our group of 4. All of us agree that the food was exceptional from the octopus appetizer special to THE best rack of lamb ever. Service was good. We enjoyed chatting with one of the members of the owning family. A nice experience all across the board; we’ll be back!
Great night. Maria was an amazing host.
Food was delicious!!
From the one that we walked in we were treated like royalty. Jackie was a gracious hostess and Victoria’s knowledge of the menu and specials was astounding for her youth. She BM left quite an impression on all of us as did the amazing dishes. I would return there with no hesitation and was scolded by the rest of my group for having not suggested Giorgia sooner.
Food was outstanding, veal was melt in your mouth, the two specials that our guests had were according to them, was so good that a return trip was inorder. They also said it was memorable. Ciao.
This quaint authentic Italian restaurant is cozy and welcoming. The chef is cooking with his Heart. Giorgia herself welcomes guests and cooks the best authentic dishes. I highly recommend!!
Love love this place
We had a group of seven and everyone’s dishes were fantastic! I highly recommend the Saltimbocca alla Romana. It’s probably the best I’ve ever had! Everyone was really happy with their food and it was the perfect amount. I can’t wait to go back!
The food is always great but the service was terrible. This was the second time we had horrible service within 2 months. We had to wait a half hour for our reservation and then no one came to our table for 10 minutes after asking the hostess to have our wine opened. They only had two servers working on a Friday night and the place was packed! We are locals and have always liked going to our local place but not worth it for horrible service!
Frank does a great job and the restaurant is warm. From the cauliflower ravioli to the fish, you are bound to have a great meal.
Always consistently delicious! Frank is the owner and the chef. Family recipes passed down from Italy. BYOB great value.
Outstanding food every time we've been there. Small, intimate setting, very good wait staff. Can get a little noisy if crowded, especially Friday & Saturday nights. Sunday sauce is to "die for". Best I've ever had!
Ideal little spot in Rumson. Premise made pastas, manageable portions, and very nice atmosphere. Put this on a list of go-tos.
Average Italian. Nothing special. Waiter was clearly hung over, yea I was a waiter once and hung over, but I didn’t lean my head on posts as I took an order. Not that big of a deal if he took the bill in a timely manner or brought our food when it was ready.
Food always terrific...some very unique options...service could improve slightly...overall a nice meal and experience
As always, everything was fabulous. Whether pasta, salads, appetizers, seafood or meat.......this is one of the top restaurants in monmouth county. Consistently first rate.
First time Great casual atmosphere Food was delicious! Charming spot
Great atmosphere nice service good food
If you been to a restaurant in Tuscany, you'll recognize this place. The chef (all the dishes) and his mom (desserts, Sunday sauce and occasionally specials) never fail in their selection and the delivery- taste, presentation and service. Friendly place with lots of locals. Highly recommend it- been going there with friends and family since it opened.
Celebrating two birthdays. Found this place through Open Table. Our server Steve was great and knew the menu very well. Everyone enjoyed their meals and commented on how fresh the pasta and sauces were. Will try and come back when we are in the area.
Good appetizers average entree
Every appetizer and meal was excellent, generous portions too!
Excellent , friendly service This was our first visit but we can’t wait to come back.
Always delicious with great service. Intimate and comfortable.
Showed up for a 730 resi at 750. Totally get it. We were late however 4 or 5 tables were empty and we stood for 30 min while we were told they were waiting for another table to get up. After 40 min I asked what was wrong with the empty
Tables and the waiter said oh I didn’t know they were available. As the waiter promptly brought us to our 40 min later table that was empty the entire time we passed the owners of the restaurant that couldn’t smile it say hello as We passed them. The food isn’t that good for the attitude of the staff and needless to say we won’t be going back. Undici while more expensive makes me feel better about dropping a $30 pasta. Cheers. No wonder why you can’t move past the kids gymnasium. Total pass.
My husband discovered this place years ago and it remains one of our favorites. We’ve never had a bad meal and always leave stuffed!
Enjoy dining at Ristorante Giorgia. Food is always delicious. We have also been enjoying takeout dinner. Veal saltimbocca wonderful as are homemade ravioli specials
The ambiance, service and food was excellent and its a byob
By far the best veal saltimbocca I have ever had. All of our food was fantastic. Our waiter was not great, but the food was outstanding and we will go back. It does take some time for the meals to arrive, but SO worth the wait!!
My wife and I enjoyed it immensely. Some of the best food we've had. Fresh and perfectly cooked. Attentive service. A bit loud but we've seen much worse. Small and somewhat intimate. Would go again many times!
This place never fails. The service was right on but not overbearing and the food was great. They have a printed menu but I think their specials come close to numbering the items on the menu.
Great food, always,BYOB, small casual dress, reservation a must.
Genuine Italian home cooking... worth a little wait
Every meal we’ve had at Ristorante Georgia has been outstanding! My personal favorite is the swordfish which is not on the menu, but frequently offered as a special. The long stemmed artichoke salad is excellent! So many delicious menu items, and we have never been disappointed with the quality, presentation and taste. The worst thing that ever happened was that they were fully booked one night and we couldn’t get a reservation! Can’t wait to go back.
Another excellent night of dining. Food is absolutely top notch. Awesome specials and wonderful biscotti at the end as it is home
Made. Get their early as they run out. This is my go to place and I am a foodie and picky. Don’t miss it. Wonderful
We’ve lived 2 miles from this place for 5 years and didn’t know it was there. What a gem! Great food. So glad we went. Perfectly done swordfish in a lemon butter sauce. Great pasta. Great salads. And even great cannoli and tartufo. Will be a regular now.
The food is excellent! We love the cannellini bean appetizer is wonderful. Our meals were fresh and delicious.
It was very hot outside so the restaurant was a little warm.
I do wish the servers would pour the first glass of wine. That is something I wish they would do.
Overall, the quality of the food is excellent.
My girlfriends birthday but was never noticed!!! Not even a Happy Birthday wish😡
Loved this place. Food was excellent
Fresh fish Great Pasta the servers are key in remembering EVERYTHING
