Fine Texas Cuisine, as defined by Chef Jon Bonnell, is a blend of regional flavors and cultures, combined with local ingredients that make Texans proud. All of the venison, quail, wild boar, beef, ostrich, chicken, fish, oysters, shrimp, cheeses, and fresh herbs served at Bonnell's come from the great state of Texas.
We had a good time and the staff were fairly accommodating. Our only note was it did take a while to be seated even with a reservation and when we first sat down it took a little while before someone came by. After everything got started it was fine. The food was excellent and our waitress and other staff very friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful evening! This is the place to go for a special night.
As always, Bonnell's is one of the finest restaurants we have experienced - and the wine list is fantastic!

The food was fantastic and service impeccable. Oysters Texafeller, pepper crusted buffalo tenderloin and they comped out dessert as it was our anniversary. Great experience.

First time here, have always wanted to try, came for restaurant week, made reservations one week before. great menu options of app, entrée, and dessert and felt it was well priced. great wine selection for glass or bottle. Waitress was on point. loved the ambiance, there are many glass wall separations, that help with noise and make you feel a bit more secluded but you can still tell the place is busy. would definitely come back.

This was our first time to visit, during Restaurant Week. I had the special Restaurant Week menu, and my husband ordered from the normal menu. My beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying elotes was extraordinary. His calamari was crispy and tender. Especially enjoyable was that the background music was very low so you could have a conversation without shouting. Bonnells will go on our special occasion restaurant list.

Wife and I went on a little date night and this place was nice. The bartender was great and our dinner was good.

We usually visit Bonnell's for dinner and decided to check out their lunch offerings. We were pleased that their entire dinner menu is available for lunch as well as a lighter lunch menu. Our waiter was Sheila who is definitely our favorite; we feel lucky when we are seated in her section. Looking forward to our next visit.

Oysters Texasfeller were awesome. I had the Buffalo Strip off the seasonal menu, and my wife had the featured bone-in filet. Both were exceptional. The key lime pie dessert was amazing.
It had been awhile since we dined at Bonnell's.....had forgotten how great the food was.....and the service was equally great!! A totally super dining experience!

We chose Bonnell’s to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our server was very attentive, but not annoyingly so. The food arrived at a good interval after appetizers, and was very good. My ribeye was very large, so I brought half of it home.

I’m sad that this is my first time to visit Bonnell’s and I’ve lived here since 2008. The Fort Worth old fashion was on point, the elk tacos and oyster Texafellers were delicious, and the ribeye was done so well! Dinner was finished off with a tres leches creme brûlée. We will be going back soon!! Ask for Melanie and you won’t be disappointed!!
Amazing and friendly staff the food was amazing loved it. They made us feel at home couldn’t ask for a better place to go eat and we can’t wait to go back
The food here was incredible from appetizers through deserts! Our server, Chad, took excellent care of us and couldn't have been more hospitable!
The food and service were very good. I wish they had more good Chardonnays by the glass. The buffalo steak, truffle fries, Caesar salad and quail/mushroom pasta were all hits. Always a consistent place for a fine meal.
I am a big fan of Bonnells but I must say it was disappointing to bring a “Dallasite” to introduce him to a FABULOUS steakhouse in FW only to arrive and have NO BEEF in the house.
Of course the seafood entry was delicious but not when you are ‘hankering’ for a thick juicy AGED BEEF rib eye steak.
Of course we’ll be back, just wanted to mention the circumstance in hopes we don’t experience a repeat.
Our waitress was exceptional! She catered to our every wish. The food was wonderful. Savory,with exquisite seasoning. I had the groomer, my husband had the ribeye. Fat removed!
