Our server was amazing, Michael, he was on point on the dishes with good recommendations. Service was fast. The food was alright, nothing exceptional, but you definitely pay more for the view than anything else.
We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary here. For a more private experience, I opted for a Starlight Booth. We got a corner one with sweeping city views. All in all it was a great dining experience with great service in a romantic setting. Perfect for couples celebrating milestone and special events!
Food was attractively presented but seasoning was spotty. Meat was undercooked (had to be corrected) and fish was over cooked slightly (not enough to complain.) overpriced for what you get. Poor value.
What a wonderful evening it was! Ivan was a major player in it being so! You have a talent in him!
Had a great experience, 71 floors high. Beautiful, exceptional view. The bread was so unique and amazing!!!! My steak was amazing and cooked perfectly! Would have like more flavor from the sides. The chocolate dessert was decadent and delicious!
We took an employee for an important work anniversary. Everything was exceptional. The Somm was helpful, they let us sit at the bar as long as we wanted until we were ready for dinner, the bartender Patrick was one of the best we’ve ever had- drink wise and conversation, our server Jackson was knowledgeable and honest which we really appreciated. We didn’t feel rushed or interrupted. Overall it was an exceptional dining experience none of us will forget.
Food was excellent...the international wagyu tri is worth the price. Window table is a must if its your 1st time. Then coffe or cocktails at the 73rd floor just bring your receipt for free entrance.
We had a magical time there for our anniversary.
LACKLUSTER SERVER. FOOD GOOD NOT GREAT AS YOU SHOULD EXPECT. GREAT WINE LIST BUT OVERPRICED WITH NOT MUCH ON THE VALUE SIDE. OTHER STAFF WAS GREAT BARTENDER, BUSBOY AND SOMMELIER
The food was good but not worth the insanely high prices
Great and out standing! Was a first and will be a second! And so on
The dishes were just not very tasty, the bread was hard, the portions were tiny. Was a disappointment for all the money we spent.
I loved the the venue, wonderful place. Food was lovely, I just wish the portions were larger. I felt like I paid to much for what I received. I would have rather eaten else where for the amount I paid.
Dine LA menu isn't a bad choice. Would have been better if the chef allowed for additional entrees to be ordered as well.
Birthday dinner celebration.
Absolutely awful. No rib eye so we ordered the tomahawk and it came out cold. I had come here once before and it was amazing. Came a second time when my fiance was in town visiting and it was just awful. A cold steak is so unacceptable. We had waited 45m for it to come out and it was such a disappointment
Great food great service. Love how they tell you about the food like from where they get it.
We dined at La Boucherie for the first time this past weekend, and it was such a great experience. A huge part of it was due to our server, Joaquin. He was great. The food, we ordered the Tomahawk, was great as well as the duck fries. Everything was delicious and nothing can beat the view! We highly recommend dining here with a group of friends or as a date night.
The DineLA tasting menu included 3 courses are completely JUST Dessert ！And one course was ONLY Scallion. It didn’t worth $125~ Disappointed of them, Too Cheap（not the bill we paid, but the way they treat their potential customer）and we regretted that we chose this restaurant to visit ☹️ We left with the feeling of hunger.
Service was amazing, and staff members were very attentive and courteous. The food was delicious, where of course you get what you pay for, but appetizers are on the petite size. The view and restaurant ambiance was definitely worth going for. Dining at La Boucherie, you are able to use your receipt ticket to get a free entry up on the 73rd floor rooftop bar, Spire. Lovely and romantic place for a celebration!
Fernando was the bus boy. He should be the waiter his disposition is pleasant and he does a great job with guests
Daniel was out waiter and he was frosty with an undertakers look on his face. He was super grim and just not someone you want to be around.
Food was good, steak was over cooked but edible.
I'd go back for drinks or my gf's bday for the view.
Incredible food presentation and taste to match. Attentive and generous waitstaff. Really great experience!
This review is for the Dine LA 2019 menu.
Herb Crusted Asparagus Ice Cream- This is an innovated dish, I love what the chef is making "dessert" feel appetizer. The asparagus ice is the star of the show, where the cool creamy mouth feeling makes your brain want sweets but the after taste of the ice scream is salty and savory.
Poireaux Braises Salad:-Main ingredient comes from a palm tree, called the fresh heart palm. Very healthy dish that packs a lot of vitamins and minerals without the calorie. I like the idea of a SUPER health food but it lacks taste or texture. It is hard to chew and bit into.
Maine Lobster- Can't go too wrong with a lobster, portion size ~ 2in x 1in X 1in. Texture can be better cooked, lay off the flame. This lobster lacks flavor. The parnsip chips was a good touch- I liked the flavor profile.
Japanese A5 Wagyu- This dish was THE "milkshake" that brought me to the place. Presentation was beautiful- covered up by a cone-shaped glass to preserve the moisture and the flavor.. well seemly, because there are none of that I have experienced. Meat was over cooked, what a shame for a A5 steak. Roasted mushroom needs more flavor. Presentation the dish needs more color.
Meyer Lemon Sorbet: Good flavor, size 1 inch diameter- Sorbet was not the easiest to cut into.
Raspberry Napoleon: Unremarkable- common napoleon I can get anywhere.
Service: Excellent. My server was professional and knowledgeable. Everyone else are well dressed.
Side Note: During Dine LA week, I understand the restaurant is busy. For a 125$ per person, 100$ wine paring. The line up of the menu is impressive- however the execution was poorly done. This should be an opportunity to bring people into a fine dinning experience. I see it but I did not taste it.
This restaurant has it all. Great food, presentation, service, ambiance and best view in LA. Beet salad looked like a work of art. Beef and tuna tartare presentation like no other. Escargot in bone marrow was the most unusual and best I’ve had. Definitely the best tomahawk steak. What a selection of steaks to choose from. They were also very accommodating to children, we had a one and four year old.
DineLA menu was great!
Great views and incredible service. The meal was perfect, romantic spot.
The view of the city is amazing. The service was also very good. We ordered the octopus appetizer which was great. However, our steaks were horrible. We both ordered medium rare and they were both cooked closer to medium well. And they had very little flavor. Paid close to $100 per steak and I would have had a better steak at Outback or Logan’s. Very disappointing.
We went with a group of friends, and we had an excellent experience. The service could not have been better, and we enjoyed everything we tried. Of course, the view isn't bad either.
Dinner date, wishing we had the window seat
It was great! Food was delicious. Service was on par.
Was absolutely wonderful
It was great view of Los Angeles downtown but food are not so good.
Beautiful all around... enjoyed the birthday celebration here... great wine selection!
I heard so many good reviews about this place , so I decided to celebrate my birthday there. It was a disappointment, as it food and service didn’t meet my expectation. Food was average , our steak wasn’t cooked as we asked and even famous dessert wasn’t that great. The only thing we really like it was a bartender with special drinks - that was great
Really outstanding food which compliments the view. Excellent service and touches add to the experience.
Probably LA’s best restaurant. A breath taking view to support an experience that goes beyond eating, but learning about food. A changing menu, offering the finest quality products. Not to mention a remarkable wine and spirit selection, hard to encounter. Highly recommended, truly above your expectations. Don’t miss desert.
Great service . Food was amazing, the waiters were very professional. I enjoy every time I go
Great food, but value might be a bit off. View is worth it though.
I normally don't write reviews. But my situation proves the exception! My wife and I were celebrating her recent job promotion. At approximately 8:20 PM, July we experienced the second Ridgecrest Quake (7.1 RS) while dining at La Boucherie. Needless to say the staff behaved like consummate professionals. No one panicked, we were kept informed every step of the way and the food was marvelous. Our server even went back for coffee and cappuccino after it was over. BRAVO!! Thank YOU!! True Grace Under Pressure!!
