    Great food, great service, and reasonably priced with the wines. I did find it absurd they charge $18 for hummus and then charge an extra $12 (without actually advising you prior) for the bread to eat the hummus, and this $12 is for four tiny serves of Turkish bread… these items are not expensive so really can’t justify that cost. The service was great! Oscar was very attentive but not annoying, and the rest of dinner was delicious. I would go back, just maybe not order the hummus for $30 and order a main meal instead.

    My wife and I are not vegetarians but we can now say that this is one of our favourite restaurants in Brisbane. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is amazing coupled with professional and friendly service and unbelievably tasty food insured we will definitely be back. Highly recommend the set menu option.

    The food was great, as was the service. Being new to Brisbane, it has taken us a bit of time to find a decent fine-dining vegetarian restaurant. The few we've already too were so bad we won't go back to them. Very pleased to say this was a strand out and we will definitely be back. The salt and pepper tofu and the butter bread were stand outs for us. The wine list was adequate, but a tad limited. We liked the wine we picked, so no complaints - just a bigger selection would be appreciated. We are eagerly awaiting our next visit.

    The food is phenomenal at zazata and is why I’d continue to go back. Unfortunately, the service is not great. We’ve been twice now and same experience both times. Takes a long time to have your order taken, water is not consistently refilled, empty drinks, not checking in. The annoying part is it felt like they don’t make eye contact so flagging the staff down isn’t easy either. For the price you expect the service to be better.

    A fantastic fusion experience as Za Za Ta met Veda. The dishes were all delicious, well presented and altogether, a substantial meal. As a long-time weekly patron at Kazbah/Za Za Ta, I find the hits of the 80s background music incongruous with the bar and restaurant decor and rather tacky. Don't let your chefs down, please work on the ambience.

    We had a fabulous experience at Za Za Ta. It was our first time eating there and the staff were friendly and helpful. We chose the banquet special and every dish was delicious. The cocktails were exceptionally tasty and we never felt rushed at any stage of our time there. We will definitely be return customers.

    The place is beautiful and the food amazing. The place is quite busy so can get a bit noisy where you have to talk a bit loud to have a conversation but it still was such a nice evening.

    My wife is vegetarian while I'm not, and usually I don't much care for vegetarian food, however, the food I had at Za Za Ta was phenomenal. Easily among the best I've had dining out. While the restaurant itself is fairly cozy, the ambience is relaxing, the service is great, and if you're looking for somewhere to eat good vegetarian food, you've definitely found it, which is coming from an avid meat eater. My wife and I had halloumi doughnuts, silver beet & feta borek, and spiced potatoes, and all of them were exceptional. You definitely won't regret having a nice meal here.

    Amazing food as always but our service was second to none!! Oscar was so helpful and lovely. He helped when I had to postpone our dinner twice and then once we finally got to dine last night he made it so special my brother in law who had just proposed to his girlfriend!     Food quality was excellent - we enjoyed the mushroom shish and a falafel entree. We arrived 20mins late due to roadworks, but then found out we had a limited time booking so had to hurry with ordering and the tasting menu was not recommended for our time frame. After confusion on what size meals were appropriate - it seems some “ small” meals are much larger than others, our waiter kept ducking away so we could “think” before announcing our meals selections were not a good size. The venue appears understaffed with waiters rushing about doing orders and prompting diners that time is limited.

    We went tonight to celebrate my Wife's birthday. The setting if fantastic, our waiter Oscar was exceptional, and the food was extraordinary. We had the vegan degustation with matching wines 😋.     The food was amazing as always. So glad the halloumi donuts are still on the menu - they are my absolute favourite. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Even the chefs were friendly as my toddler and I were watching them prepare the meals.

    The restaurant has only one other table when I arrived at 6 o clock on Saturday night. Although they said they were fully booked for the evening. I had the haloumi doughnut and the cauliflower sharwarma. The doughnut was very nice but didn't taste of Halloumi. The cauliflower was beautiful but it lacked a grain. It essentially was just a bowl of cauliflower with sauce.
