Dinner every night from 5.30pm
Sorry that it was their last trading day 😔 the new owners have very big boots to fill!
I am sad it’s closing down because I love the food
Excellent service from the gracious Pat, food was delicious and elegantly presented. A memorable evening!
Great food, excellent service. Love this place but a bit noisy for a business dinner.
We live close by.
like to go to venues close by. have visited PK before. This time came with friend who has previously been to PK.
we ordered Bloody Mary's - unpalatable.
ordered mains - pasta dishes - 4 piece of pasta tortellini doesn't qualify as a +$30 meal even if the sauce is flavorsome.
my friend's fettuccine was much the same in volume, ie v small.
Ate at boat only a week ago, haven't been there for a long time. Comparable in price across cocktail, wine and food - chalk and cheese in quality. very disappointing - wont be recommending PK again.
Loved everything except the noise level and the icy blast as the door opened. The food was truly excellent as was the service.
It was a very enjoyable dining experience. We loved everything from the food, the service and the ambience. Highly recommended!
Pulp Kitchen never fails to deliver. Amazing food, great wine selection, fabulous staff. My current favourite in Canberra.
Fantastic menu, great wine list, and a brilliant setting. The new owners have kept the original Pulp vibe, while making tweaks to the menu and flavours that suit their particular style.
Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! We went for the “all you can eat” option and went home with very fully hearts and very very full stomachs. We had almost everything on the menu and every single thing was better than the last! Our favourite was the barramundi and beef short rib. We will definitely be coming back, hopefully very very soon because I’m still craving the sticky date pudding and need my next fix ASAP!
Second time at the restaurant and totally impressed both times.
Always excellent great food and frendly professional service.
Brilliant Food and Service -could not have found a better restaurant for a special night out
Absolutely amazing experience. My boyfriend and I came in for date night and could not have had a better night. Josh, the manager, was absolutely fantastic and our waitress Annie looked after us so incredibly well. We got the all you can eat option - I recommend letting your server surprise you with the dishes (they take any dietary requirements first), we did and it was fab. A great experience. 10/10
Love everything about Pulp Kitchen. The food was soooooooo delicious and the staff were amazing!!!!
Staff were great. Coffee good. Decor and ambienance good.
Only issues were food was a little salty and there was soy hidden the chicken jus.
One of our party is allergic to soy. She left with a headache and rash.
My favourite restaurant when visiting friends and family in Canberra. The venue has been updated and the food is really good.
Keep up the good work, couldn’t fault a single dish.
Excellent quality of food and pleasant, efficient service.
The food was exceptional, absolutely delicious. Portions small but divine. Service top notch. It was very noisy and very crowded, possibly to be expected for a Saturday night. For a table of seven, we had to shout loudly to hold a conversation. Very expensive so would only recommend it to those I know could afford it. Prices for alcoholic drinks were expensive, way over the top.
We have not been to this restaurant for many years and thought we would try it out with the change of ownership (not that the old owners were not stars). The food and service were 5 star. The only observation that made our meal uncomfortable was the fact that we were very cold, I had to leave my heavy overcoat on for the meal and my husband had an Icelandic jumper on and was still cold as he was close to the glass. You really need to up the heat.
The food was sensational - we indulged in the 'all you can eat' option. A fun approach and superb food.
Have dined here for many years and will continue to do so.
Excellent friendly service, good atmosphere as it was full by 7.30pm Queens Birthday Sunday holiday, not too noisy for conversation, courses delivered to the table at the right time. All up, it was a great dinner.
Came from Sydney over Queen's B'day long weekend and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. As we didn't have much to eat for the day, we had the $85 pp all you can eat and we got to try almost everything on the menu for dinner. Every course was amazing, and would highly recommend!
Delicious food, excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. Small menu but imaginative and something for everyone. We ordered a al carte but they also offer a degustation / all you can eat menu. All dishes were incredibly tasty (potato cakes, chicken liver parfait, steak tartare and snapper). Second time we have been here under current management and it didn't disappoint. Thoroughly recommend.
I've said it before but this visit confirmed it - this restaurant just gets better and better. I used to go there regularly before it changed hands and really enjoyed it, but this new incarnation is even better than before. They've kept some of the old favourites but I love the new well thought out and carefully prepared dishes and the range of different flavours. I also like the atmosphere and the way they encourage you to try different wines with the dishes - they have a focused but interesting list and they are good for wines by the glass, so you can mix and match.
Great service and yummy well presented food. Beetroot ravioli a real palate pleaser
Great dinner. We were visiting and was fortunate enough to get a table. Food and service was great. Loved kingfish cervice!
So happy we finally ate here. Pulp Kitchen has been recommended to us on many occasions and it didn't disappoint. The food was outstanding and the service could not be faulted. A tad noisy but it was a Saturday night and we always prefer a restaurant which is busier. Will definitely return and now we'll be recommending it to everyone who will listen too!
How cane we have such impossibly good food here in Canberra - never ceases to amaze how good the food is here
Ok but not special or memorable experience for me. Had the steak which was small and very fatty. My friend’s meal (chicken) was tastier.
Asked for sparkling red and was given champagne.
Had worse experiences but won’t be going back.
Great food, great service. We are planning another trip to come back. Until soon.
What a nice evening at Pulp Kitchen! Thanks to the chefs and the staff for yet another great night. The soufflé was light as air, the chicken was succulent and delicious and I'm so glad I partook in the tarte tatin! It was very yummy (and I don't usually eat dessert!)
Mothers Day brunch was wonderful. Great service and creative cuisine . Fantastic neighbourhood gem to chill in or spoil a special someone on a date.
Food is delicious, well presented and good value. Service was attentive and pleasant. I would recommend for a more casual get together.
We all had a great time and the staff were very friendly and polished, we will certainly be back
We had a fantastic night at Pulp Kitchen. We chose the option to do the set price per head menu option which allows and try everything all the dishes. It was delicious!
Great food, great staff, great vibe, great fun!
Our meals were absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the potato scallops and the beetroot tortallini. My Husband really enjoyed the Lamb shoulder and steak tartare. Please don't ever stop serving those amazing perfect potato scallops! We will definitely be back!
Food and service were great. We had “all you can eat” tasting menu and it’s was superb, except for the sirloin that was very overcooked despite us having ordered medium rare. The chocolate dessert with mascarpone and berries was my favourite dessert, and sticky date pudding everyone else’s star dish.
