The food was acceptable however not at all good value. The wait time for the fried rice in particular took 35+ minutes even when the restaurant was not full.

The food was good. We tried both the scallop and the iberico fried rice. The iberico one was a bit on the oily side.
the wagyu beef puff was memorable, that and the uni spring roll is a must try.

Big improvement from last time! Might be better because we had only 4 pax. Last time we had 7 and the food wasnt hot!

Food quality's good although prices are on the high side. What bothered me was that the waiter kept signalling us to leave the moment we put down our chopsticks. Not the kind of service one would expect from a restaurant of this price level/at this location.

First, the good - the drinks were amazing and the ambience would've been nice if we hadn't been sitting right by the entryway to the mall. However, they served me shellfish in a dish that definitely had NOT listed shrimp on the menu, and when I brought it to the waitress's attention she didn't even apologize. I'm very allergic, and had I not noticed in time to spit out the first bite then I could have gotten very sick. I tried explaining this to the waitress and manager, but still got no apology nor did they offer (or concede) to take it off our bill.

The food was average, nothing to rave about.
The service was very poor. Nobody noticed us when we we want a tea refill several times or when we wanted to pay. It was after the busy time, it was 2:30 pm. The male waiter was rather rude. My friend sitting opposite me was halving a spring roll in order to share it, and the waiter waited behind her, 2 cm behind her back, with two new dishes to put on the table where she was. There was room to place the two dishes at the side of the table, and it felt very intrusive for him to be so close behind her without saying a word, a sorry or to go half a meter to the other side to place the dishes. He didn’t say anything or offer to help cut the spring roll.
Also when we asked the same male waiter whether we could get some Soja sauce with the spring rolls, he said that the spring rolls already have a sauce inside and he didn’t offer to bring any additional sauces until we insisted. This is not good customer service.

the food was delicious except it should be more hot because its dim sum. the food arrive was room temperature still taste good but not same as if it was piping hot is better because dim sum tends to cool down fast becuz majority is bite size.

the presentation on the plates color and layout was like artwork pieces, example the sea urchin spring rolls, wagu beef pastry rolls. not only look beautiful but also taste good too !

The food is of good quality and we were served quite quickly. However service needs improvement. The Servers did not understand the menu or were not aware. As an example I ordered a cocktail which was served and was very good. I asked for the same cocktail to be served. To the Servers Credit she came back a few minutes later and pointed to the drinks menu. I advised her the correct drink but I’m sure it was already recorded in the system and could have been checked. Also with the Xiao long Bao and Soring rolls no vinegar was brought. Had to ask. Overall food is relatively good but service could improve

The quality and taste of the dim sum selections was outstanding. The wait staff is excellent. Since they accept reservations, no need to wait in a line. Maybe the best dim sum in HK. Don't be put off by its location in a shopping mall - just go!

The food never disappoints but the service can be hit and miss. Be sure to ask the waited to confirm your order. One of our dishes didn't arrive and we had to ask several times for our bottle of wine to come (it came after the first of the food dishes).

It is not really value for money but the location is very convenient and having dim sum available in the evening is also a bonus. THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD.

But trying to make a phone booking is a nightmare. Horrible. And some of us don’t like booking on line. That should be IMPROVED.

I was extremely disappointed by the way the restaurant assigned the time slot for having lunch at Dim Sum Library. I booked a table for lunch on Sept., 13 through the on-line booking. I overlooked the tiny notice in regard to the limit of time to eat-in. I was escorted into the dining table by the waiter without any knowledge that I had to return the table in 90 minutes. Not until a male waiter came to our table suggesting if we’re going to order desert to finish our lunch. I told him that I didn’t expect to eat at such a rush ! He then left our table. Less than 5 minutes, there came the female manager trying to persuade us to finish our lunch. We told her we had just order the desert. She suggested to eat the desert at the bar table. I was so furious that I denied her suggestion right away. The price of the food, the noisy ambient, hasty way to serve the food in order to fill up the tables in several round ... hestitate my patronage to Dim Sum Library again. I think the name “ Dim Sum Express” would be more appropriate to suit the marketing strategy of the restaurant instead of “Dim Sum Library “.

Decent “fusion” food but very pricy. We had a slight issue in that the restaurant lost our order, and one waiter even asked us if we had finished, when our plates and bowls were clean and obvious we had not eaten. We had waited about 40 minutes when he asked us, and we realised they had lost our order - we thought they were just really busy. Our dishes were mostly fried and it was nice that they were not too oily, but then again, they were not very hot either. If you are looking for traditional dim sum, go elsewhere. You are paying a premium for the fancy “twist” on dim sum, but mostly because it’s a restaurant in Pacific Place.
