    A fantastic place for a special birthday lunch with the family. The food was great, very yummy and I just wish my stomach was bigger to eat everything all over again.

    Enjoyed our meal although they forgot to take our order so we did wait a while until we eventually requested someone take our food order. We shared 5 entrees and they were all very fresh. The decor has changed since we were last there many years ago and we preferred the previous decor, the ambience was better. Great spacing between diners and they did check our vaccinations on entering.

    Maybe 2 too many courses for us. Time between corses seemed to be a little rushed probably due to time constraints we had an 11.30 sitting for Sunday yum cha.

    Food is as always very tasty and the portions are the perfect size. My only suggestion is that with your range of banquets you have ones available with the option of having beef, chicken or lamb. I am sure you have customers like us who do not eat pork. Another point would be to have a better choice of Australian wines by the glass. Both Red and White.

    Outstanding dinner at David’s. The service was excellent and the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. Food - consistently very good and timed well. The noise was very low and lighting - perfect! A great experience and I look forward to returning.

    Great food, good service. The decor isn't fancy but it's quite suited to the cuisine and fits nicely. Would've liked the gap between the dishes to be a bit shorter as it took about 2 hours to get the banquet out but otherwise, it was a good place to dine at.

    It was a nice experience but felt rushed & not unlimited. Food came out slowly & in big gaps & it was 1 piece per person rather than unlimited. You can order more at the end but they are so slow & dragged out on delivering the food you don’t get much time at the end due to second sitting. Food was very good but delivery was poor.

    As always a wonderful meal with friendly staff. Whenever we visit Melb it is our go to. Thanks to the team and a shout out for all the local deliveries when we were in self isolation and the first lockdown. It was our favourite “date night” treat.

    Just felt that the meal was not it's usual top quality. Felt that some of the meals came out cold? Have eaten here before and loved it. Did not meet all expectations this time. However, would still consider returning at some point!

    We were very keen to dine at David's as we had a great Providoor experience, however the in dining experience was less than ideal. With a small menu I feel they should have all the items on the menu in stock but the main meat dish-lamb which most of our table wanted to order was unavailable. They then were forced to order the ribs which I asked as to the "fattiness" of the meat and was told not too bad but was in fact mostly fat. One of our members couldn't eat it and another who hadn't received his yet cancelled it when he saw the dish. They did of course take these both off the bill and the staff were very understanding but still not ideal.

    Wanted to try their yum cha for a long time and it’s as good as expected. Warm service, friendly staff, menu was designed to please the crowd, definitely worth for a family or friend gathering.
