This is my second time here and it was just as great as the first visit! Favorite place to eat!
I came into Cecconi's for the first time last night and I was really disappointed and quite shocked with my experience. First, I tried to call hours before my reservation to indicate it was my friend's birthday and I wanted a dessert brought out to him without me saying it at the restaurant; I called 3x with no answer but I understood that it is a busy establishment so I just made a note on Opentable for it. We had our food and were brought desert menus at the end of our meal which confused me because I had made that request, so I discussed with the hostess that it was my friends birthday and we would like a dessert brought out to him. Here is when things really started to go south, our new waiter who was assigned to us midway through our meal brought out a piece of cake that had nuts on it; my friend who's birthday it was is deathly allergic, so I kindly asked him if it had nuts, in which he said yes, and I asked for a new dessert with no nuts. He rudely replied "You should've told me that then" and snatched the plate away from our table and said "what do you want then". I was personally shocked and so was everyone at our table. I am not foreign to West Hollywood and go out to eat dinner every weekend; a simple request to change desserts because of an allergy is not a big deal and we shouldn't be made to feel small because of this. He brought out a new dessert, and didn't care to bring any utensils with it either.
I am so disappointed in my experience and definitely will not return! This is supposed to be a high class establishment; we are paying customers, we should not be treated like this.
The food was sub par and the service was not great. The waiter was very uninterested in helping us. However, there was a waiter named Tony who was amazing, charismatic, and extremely helpful.
The first server that we sat with had a horrible attitude and thought that she was doing us a favor. We then moved to a different servers table and he was absolutely fantastic and we had a great time. All the food that we ate was delicious.
Incredible Gastronomic Experience to say the least
Food was great. Server was outstanding. It can be a bit loud and tables are pretty close together. A great experience overall. Wasn't super happy with the parking situation. You have to valet - they say they charge one price on the sign and in the text they send you to get your car - but when your car arrives they charge more than the stated price - then they ask if you want to leave a tip. Kinda tacky. But restaurant itself is great.
Ended up going to Cecconi's for a late lunch after a day full of shopping and hanging out in the city. They have a very decent weekend happy hour from 3-6pm and it's filled with different appetizers + drinks and pizzetta's. I was extremely satisfied with my meal here, love this place.
Cecconi is a quintessential West Hollywood destination restaurant - the vibe is great but the service is a reflection of how little they are invested in guest satisfaction, food, and cocktails. Servers are ill-informed about the menu, unapologetic when delivering the wrong item (multiple times), and have the audacity to deliver you a drink you watched another guest send back. Overall, not worth the effort or money.
Always a lovely time at Cecconi’s. Service is always top-notch. Food is delicious but in the pricey side.
The food and wine were fabulous! The atmosphere was lively and fun! I would definitely go back :)
Fun and vibrant place with delicious food. Service was attentive despite being quite busy. Desert was great end to the meal. Not too sweet, but nice balance
Very noisy place. Ordered the Veal Melanese for $55. It was NOT that great, certainly not worth $55. This place is overrated in my book.
Went here with my nephew who is visiting from out of town. Everything was incredibly delicious. Service was prompt and courteous. The only glitch was they brought our pizza with the appetizer but once they realized there had been a misunderstanding, they removed the pizza until we finished our appetizer. (They offered to make a new pizza which they said they did, But when it was served it was cold so I have a feeling it was the same pizza. So not quite as hot as I would’ve liked it but spectacularly delicious)
The decor is open and airy. I love all of the natural light inside, during the lunch period. The food was delicious and I would definitely come back for lunch. Now, I will have to come for dinner.
Outstanding, service, food and ambiance. 6 people in my party all had an amazing experience.
Always a great experience the only thing I could possibly complain about was obviously on a Sunday it is extremely busy and they seem to be understaffed but other Nat everything was excellent
Per the usual, Cecconi's provided an incredible meal. Though there were definitely a few issues with service and food delivery, the quality was on point and the atmosphere was great as usual!
Usually one of my go to restaurants. However my experience and service last Saturday was awful. Hostess and bar servers were great, our table server was rude, aloof and no sense of urgency. Bummer.
Nos hicieron espera más de una hora para nuestra mesa a pesar de haber reservado
The atmosphere, service and food was all excellent. I would definitely recommend.
My go to place. Always good. But don't tell too many people.......
Restaurant had a nice crowd for a Thursday night. The food was good but not amazing, as a vegetarian I wasn’t able to locate to many options. My spouse had the brazino and stated it wasn’t to thrilling.
Was really good. Reserved a table for best friends birthday last minute and the table and service was excellent.
Great service, very good food, cool to have been to this location after London and Amsterdam...
I love the location , Italian food and vibe
The food was not my favorite. The pasta was quite undercooked and the sauce had a weird after taste. The service is great but our server took a long time to bring the check.
Overpriced but good vibes. Many tables were open but the hostess did not find me to my table for 2 (I was only waiting for one person)
Awesome restaurant. Never disappoints. Whenever we visit LA we always go.
Birthday for my 88 year old mom!!! She picked the restaurant and has been there on several prior occasions. Really like the ambiance, vibe and food. A few small things though. First our server....very inattentive and non interested. I ordered branzino and a pasta side. Brings the pasta but not the fish...when I mentioned that I have not received my fish both my way fed and my mom had been waiting and their entrees were getting cold. She (server) realized there was an error that hd occurred but did nothing to own it...aka my apologies.... instead,”yeah it’s coming”. Took an additional 15 minutes. So at the very least I would have appreciated an explanation not to mention, “please allow us to provide you with dessert for our mistake”. Nope!!! Not even complementary desert for my mother on her birthday. Oh well!!! All in all. Nice try but meh......
Nice ambiance, average food (they had to remake one of our dishes because we found hair in it). The only food item we liked was the pizza. Service was courteous.
Great food and a cool vibe. Service was ok, we came at the end of the night and felt a bit neglected but nothing that would stop us from coming back.
Great experience with an out of town family member. They were sincerely impressed with the food service and decor.
great food and great service
calamari was incredible!
Seated quickly even though we were early for our reservation. Always good food and great service
We went there for my cousin’s birthday,I already noted that i’d like a candle on my dessert and they forgot.it was disappointing because we’d like to surprise my cousin.but our server was caring and he recommended a cocktail which was delicious. In overall the food is good and the prices was fair
I would only recommend for ambiance. The food isn’t life changing.
The restaurant was extremely noisy could not carry on a conversation without saying WHAT
every sentence. Then your selection not very good, and we’re out of several items we
wanted to order. The only thing good about the restaurant was the service.
Always a great experience at Cecconi’s.
My boyfriend and I were visiting California to celebrate his birthday, and I picked Cecconi’s for a nice dinner with family. It was absolutely perfect! I follow a vegan diet and the rest of our party had no diet restrictions and we all enjoyed fulfilling meals at Cecconi’s. They even gave us a birthday cake for the table, with a candle and we all sang happy birthday. An absolute five star experience. Thanks again!
