Nizza - NYC
Food was very good but service not commendable - inattentive and awkward.
Our waitress took our order, then must have left. We never saw her again. No one until the end of the meal asked if we needed anything or if we were ok.
My family of four ate at Nizza before seeing a show on a weeknight. One of my daughters and I are allergic to wheat, dairy and eggs. They offered a full gluten-free menu and the server was extremely knowledgeable about food allergies and went out of her way to ensure that the chef was aware. The food was delicious! Our server was very attentive and kind. The only downside - The seating is a bit tight. It was tough to get into our seats without bumping the occupied seats behind us. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely dine there again.
I dare you to find a friendlier, prettier restaurant with better food in NYC. I always feel as if I am coming home. The food is amazing. Every time I can force myself to try something new, instead of sticking to my tried and true favorites, I am always happily surprised--and end up adding something to my tried and true favorites list. The staff is absolutely lovely. You really feel taken care of while you are eating the amazing food. The restaurant itself is bright and cheerful and hip. If I were going to start a restaurant, it would definitely be a clone of Nizza!
Really good service and food, and extended gluten free menu!
Always a great meal. The pizza is divine!
Incredible service, bottomless mimosas, outdoor patio seating and a fantastic gluten free menu - couldn’t have been more perfect for a Sunday brunch!
Food, service, wine excellent!!! I love this place!
Service was great, but noise level was horribly loud.
Nizza is terrific! The food was amazing, as usual. Pasta with seafood, and an abundance of it, was so flavorful. Caesar salad was delicious. Wish they served plain Italian bread instead of focaccia! Very noisy though if you are trying to have a conversation...then ask to sit outdoors! Wednesday = $20 bottles of select wines! Great deal!
I have been here like 5 times. Very disappointed with my last visit. Food and service. Pasta was way over cooked twice breaded chicken was over cooked as well, very tough. Plates were left on table too long had to ask several times for things. My husband and brother had the Sunday dinner, they loved it. Dessert was very good. Of course I will go back because 1 out of 5 visits is a good %.
Food was unique and delicious-it always is. The place has buzz atmosphere; you know you want to be there. Our server (i believe her name was Margaret) could not have been better or more attentive. I love this place. Go!
Have been there many times when we're in Hell's kitchen. this time we were slightly disappointed the only special for the evening was an appetizer. The pansotti ravioli was not as creamy on the inside as it has been in the past, and this sauce had a bit too much cheese. The service was amazing the waitress was friendly efficient and fast. The house wine was perfect and enough to get you through your main course.
The service was good but the food was disappointing. I probably ordered the wrong dish. It was an over cooked dry chicken Milanese dish. The appetizer was very good and my husband enjoyed his pasta dish.
Great place! Gluten free options. Food was absolutely delicious.
Pre theater dinner. Very accommodating and nice. But food was just ok, not bad.
Food is always good and consistent. Normally service is great! Last visit we had bad and slow service. Waiter was super slow and watched our table and adjacent tables have to ask multiple times for water, drinks and why food was taking too long. It was also super warm and waiter said we can’t expect it to be cool when it is sooo hot outside. It was 82!
Normally great but this time not so good!
Very accommodating even though we were running 15 min behind. Food was great! Service even better!!
Reasonably price Italian food option in Hell's Kitchen. Great quality food. Conversation can be a little tough as tables are very close to one another. Quick service. Good option for Times Square pre-theater if you are willing to walk a few blocks
Service was excellent. Attentive, interested, professional, happy to please- no rushing.
Food was good.
Great ambiance, great food, great service. Our server was wonderful, fun, and made the experience great. We never felt too rushed, ushered in or out, and the vibe was great.
The food was delicious and the service was great. We had tickets for a show and they accommodated us wonderfully. Looking forward to my next visit.
Amazing service and food! Perfect for a nice dinner.
The meal was fabulous! Gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Chicken Milanese was so crispy and complimented nicely by the arugula, tomato and mozzarella salad. The Tartufo was a great ending! Service was very good and price was reasonable. Highly recommend!
Wonderful gluten free pasta
Great food. The pasta is perfect. Taste is always consistent. Makes a great Vodka Collins.
The food was great, as always, but I requested a quiet spot when I made my reservation and instead we were seated in the middle of the room - and right next to a huge table of people celebrating. Once they arrived it was difficult to have the professional conversation we needed to have.
Great food, lively and a bit loud, service was excellent
Food was mediocre. Service was good.
Our waitress was outstanding and the food was amazing!!
Great food and service and rich Gluten free menu!
Drinks are also nice and our waitress was nice and welcoming.
Good food and great gluten free menu!
Waitress Katie was outstanding. Very attentive, professional. Delivered exceptional table service!
We'd never been but we'll be back!
Nizza is very good and a good value for that area. The service is fast so if you are making a show it's a quick stop for a sit-down before theater meal. The food is very good. I've not had a bad meal there. Their cacio e pepe is very good, but has more of an oil base than a creamy cheese base, and they use some sort of normal spaghetti when they are supposed to use bucatini. The wine by the glass menu is slightly limited and they don't have otherwise common reds by the glass (like Malbec or Valpolicella). But overall it is a nice place, good for the value, good menu and nice servers.
The food and service were good. It was hot. Super hot. Scary hot. It was hard to enjoy the family time when everyone was sweating all over the place. We would definitely go again, but not until it cools down.
Both our meals were delicious. I chose the Sunday Pasta which came with some of the best meatballs I;ve ever had in a restaurant. My guest chose the salmon and was equally pleased. An excellent spot for a reasonably priced pre-theater dinner. Service was efficient and we had more than enough time to get to our show with a 5:45 dinner reservation, even though the restaurant was crowded when we arrived. I'll be back. There are more items on the menu I want to try.
I wish the AC worked better. It was incredibly hot and almost unbearable.
My favorite restaurant in Hells Kitchen. Food is always delicious and every employee is so service-oriented and kind!
The pasta is homemade and cooked to perfection however the sauce lacked any flavour. There were three on our dinner party and all three meals were not great.
