   The vibe in there is great! The cocktails are well priced too. However the food was ok, the meat was too tough and full of fat, we picked the set menu and it was ok but our food order was wrong which was a shame because we had a few dietary requirements (appreciate that’s frustrating but unfortunately that was just the case).

   Overall value for money based on the quality of meals, booked this place for my boyfriend’s birthday and had the Feed me menu for Dinner $49pp, and we added another side. 1. Burrata with focaccia (10/10) - we liked the focaccia with the honey butter crust and the tomato base sauce from the burrata, it was a delight.. The burrata itself doesn’t have taste so the sauce was the highlight. 2. BBQ Lamb Skewers (10/10) - bf’s fav. Tender and yummy. Couldn’t put our finger on what the sauce was made from but was garlicky and horse-radishy. 3. Kingfish (4/10) we were looking forward to the kingfish but it was a little less flavourful than expected. We expected the sauce to have a more yuzu punch with sweetness.. overall was pretty bland. If you have a chance to try ‘WELIVE’ in the city, you’ll know what I’m talking about. 4. Pork ragu pasta (10/10) - not a fan of minced pork or chicken in pasta as it doesn’t hold the flavour of the sauce unlike beef. But the sauce and pasta texture were good. 5. Steak (6/10) - chewy, expected the sauce to be more flavourful. It’s not bland, but it didn’t quite hit the spot. If you tried similar at ‘Yakimono’ in the city, you’ll know what I’m talking about ! 6. Fries (8/10) seasoning was strong, very flavourful, but too salty for our preference. When we got home we felt parched. Overall ambiance was pleasant, they had placed us in the big booth at the back. I preferred that as it can be a little rowdy / noisy seated in the middle given it was a full house. So our seating was perfect.. 🤩

   My partner and I had such a beautiful date night at the Windsor Wine Room! The food was delicious and such good value for money when ordered through the feed me menu. The staff went above and beyond for us and stored flowers for my partner to surprise me with at the end. Would recommend and come back again

   Really enjoyed our meal and interesting wine choices. It was pumping on this midweek night so it was a bit noisy.

   Absolutely horrendous. The worst service anyone at the table had experienced in a long time. It was embarrassing. We were a table of three women, we were given the table in the front window which initially seemed fun but we soon realised meant none of the wait staff came over. We all ordered the ‘feed me’ one starter and one main each with two sides to share. We were there 40mins before anyone took our order and we only had food menu so after 40mins had to ask for a wine list as we had just been sitting at a table with water trying to get someone’s attention . 10 mins later one persons starter comes out on its own, still no wine. And it just went on and on. 4 different wait staff came at various times. All with bad attitudes which seem to stem from the super unhelpful manager. It was my suggestion for dinner and I was so disappointed. I never write negative reviews about anything but this was beyond terrible.

   Great value the feed me option, very busy on a Saturday night even with pre booking a table. The staff were very hospitable and apologetic for the delay with the table and food coming out- kitchen looked very under the pump. Starters/snacks were delicious, great wine selection! Best fries seasoning ever!!

   Just WOW! As Windsor local, we were so excited to discover this little gem. Everything was great! Sat in one of the booths towards the back and got to see the attention to detail given to every dish before leaving the kitchen. Thanks for a great night - We'll definitely be back!
