"It is most certainly a gourmet establishment with a menu from top to bottom that is exquisitely creative with tastes and flavors and choices that make selections so joyously difficult--and with a wine list to match food and pocketbook. Consider this the now best Italian restaurant in the state. Three cheers for Biagio the chef."
"Concealed jewel, but easily accessible off the parkway. Esteemed staff that goes about taking care of your every need, especially the maitre d'. Exceptional menu with meals that make you crave for more. The homemade pasta dishes are unequaled to any place in the state. This is an elite restaurant that I will entertain my family and my business clients at. Head chef will go above and beyond his means for satisfaction of customer."
Excellent food and service— as usual!
Veal chop tough and no flavor
Mushroom ravioli much too salty
Delicious meal, great waitstaff! This restaurant is a real gem. Will definitely be back.
Food was great.
Food was really good. Service was good but abrupt. Will definitely come back.
The initial service at the restaurant was appalling. The waiter was apparently assigned to two different rooms which made for a disastrous combination. Fortunately, it picked up and our waiter Carlos was very good. We were a bit surprised to see the amount charged on the bill for one entree was $2.00 more than listed on the menu. The other entrees may have been incorrect, but we had to leave so we did not get the chance to compare the check with the menu price. All in all a good experience with ample portions.
Shared the rabe and sausage was excellent-waiter suggested a wine for us-they customized a dish to my liking and also had the veal-always excellent!
Food was awesome and the service was perfect. All our questions was answered
Very good Italian food in an unsuspecting location.
Food is always good, however they were out of the first 3 items that were ordered at 6:30 on a Sunday. One item on menu they were out of that last time we were there and Apparently is no longer available but still listed on menu. Was a disappointing evening
The food, service and ambiance was perfect. We are very excited about returning for a second experience.
Always delicious. Never tried the rib appetizer before and it was to die for- still dreaming about that sauce! Veal all’s Biagio also superb! The guy the recommends the wine is top notch!
Biagio’s is our neighborhood favorite and the place we take friends when they visit.
We never fail to have an enjoyable evening with great food and great service .
The garden room setting is lovely.
My favorite restaurant. Biagio’s never disappoints!
from the special app. eggplant rollatini to the the pera salad, the starers were fantastic! we had the swordfish special and the veal biagio which were excellent!! the wine and the service were also outstanding... can't wait to go back.
Always excellent. Could not ask for better
Rib eye steak was overcooked, and was very small for 36.00. the sea bass was great.
Immediately upon arriving, you are greeted at the door by someone that appears to be part of the ownership team and honestly interested in making your first impressions of the restaurant the best that it can be. We were escorted to a nicely lit table in a quite back room where we proceeded to begin our fine dinning experience with a conversation over their wine selection and appetizer. The entrée was absolutely delectable and worth the value we paid for the meal. This place is absolutely the correct choice for a fantastic dinner for a special occasion or just anytime you want a delicious dinner.
Outstanding. Just off route 15- for those, like us, traveling along that road.
Well worth the stop. Will be back again.
First time here and loved it! Definitely will come back for another Dinner Date.
Excellent food and service!
We enjoyed an excellent meal with great service. Food is very well prepared, and nicely presented. Restaurant is busy, but not too loud for comfortable conversation. With so many Italian restaurants to choose from in the area, I feel like this one stands out for quality of food at a reasonable price in a nice atmosphere. A lot to like here!
We were in the area staying overnight in route to NYC and searched for a restaurant that was close to the Marriott. After reading several reviews decided on trying Biagio’s ,we were not disappointed. I had the veal Shank, and my wife tried a special shrimp dish. Both our meals were excellent.
Spent the better part of Saturday night here at Biagio's ! We had a beautiful table which was worth the price. The restaurant is exceptional, not only because every meal we enjoyed had a variety of options and was flavorful but also because of the beautiful atmosphere! The restaurant is laid back and calm like a coastal Tuscany town , we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!
We love the food and the feeling of going back to an osteria in Tuscany. We always enjoy delicious meals and have introduced many friends to Biagio’s. My husband loves the orrecchiette with broccoli rabe, sausage and sundried tomatoes. The Pears Paradise salad was a mice surprise and my Pollo Margherita was excellent. The cannolis for dessert were perfect. Servers are friendly and attentive and the sommelier is always helpful and a true gentleman. This is our favorite Italian restaurant.
An excellent choice for a great Italian dinner or to celebrate this special occasion. Food was amazing. The service excellent.
Chef accommodated the picky eaters in the group and made things not on the menu
Wanted to like it but came away very disappointed. We had just attended my daughters graduate school commencement and were looking for a decent spot for a nice family meal. Saw very positive reviews and gave it a shot. The setting was fine and most staff was attentive. However, the specials menu woefully misstated the composition of a main entree for swordfish which was supposed to be served with arugula and shrimp, neither of which appeared on the plate but there was pasta which was not ordered (gluten allergies) and some mush mosh of shredded vegetables which could not be identified. When asked, the waiter said the menu was a printing error- It was a single sheet of paper that could have been replaced or the error should be pointed out at the time of order, it wasn’t. Okay, bad communication, how about execution? Veal chop and ribeye orders came with nicely finished sauces but both the chops were not evenly cooked, ranging from partially rare to almost raw and partially well done. Pasta sauces all seem to have cream added but not disclosed, not bad tasting but lactose concerns are pretty common, as with our party, so disclosure would help. We will not return although it appears to be a popular spot.
Big group of Piasans who like to eat and drink, let me tell you you guys did a phenomenal job. Hard to please group that left ranting and raving. Grazie Mille
Food was fantastic but was overly crowded. We will try again perhaps on a slower night.
We all had pasta dishes and they were yummy. My mom is hardcore Italian picky eater and she always wants to go here when we take here out.
Food was very very good. Service was a little slower than normal but considering there was not one seat available we let it slide. Their food is their shining start just so amazing nothing like it in the area.
Hands down the best Italian. Pastas were fresh and delicious.
Marvelous restaurant. From the appetizers to the dessert we savored in the delicate sauces . We shall return.
Outstanding!! We had the conchile pasta and the veal chop, it was over the top. Seating was a little tight but food and service made up for it.
Great spot. Very busy place, every time we come it is always packed. Try the Brussels sprout tower and the pastas are divine.
We started coming here 4 years ago when our daughter started a nearby college. We loved it. Unfortunately, the restaurant has gone way down. The portions are smaller, and on our last visit they were out of three of the main dishes. The worst was we saw the owner/manager direct the waiters to pour the unfinished wine glasses of the customers into a funnel and back into a wine bottle. They did this right behind our table at the bar. So gross and disgusting. I can't imagine what they do behind the walls of the kitchen to reconstitute entrees. YUK.
Superb!!! Can’t wait to go again. Flawless and delicious!!!
Marco was great. Made us feel like we were in Italy. The veal piccata was something like I've never had, cant wait to go back.
