Welcomed on entry. Service was provided on a regular basis, never left feeling not looked after. Food was absolutely amazing - would highly recommend the scallops and the Fremantle chargrilled octupus. Thank you to the staff for not rushing us out as we caught up with old friends. Highly recommend going there.

Entree was good, oysters and octopus but the seafood share platter overpriced for not much on the plate the prawns were dry needed like a dipping sauce or some seasoning, more variety on the platter would of been good like some oysters to go with it.

After booking The Atlantic for my husband’s 40th birthday dinner in September, we found our new favourite restaurant for special occasions! We highly recommended it to our families and returned last night for our 10 year wedding anniversary dinner, as a gift from my parents. The 4 of us were able to enjoy the great food, attentive and friendly hospitality and wonderful evening overall! Mark, our waiter has looked after us on both occasions and we are so impressed by his exceptional service and personable attitude!

Food was good however service was terrible. My partner and I walked in and the waitress seated us at our table, however then just walked away. She didn’t even ask if we wanted any water or hand us any menus - we had to ask for them 3 times from 3 different people. Once we finally got our menus we had to ask multiple people if our order could be taken. Once our order was taken, took 19mins before we got our water and had to ask 3 times prior to this. ordered a second glass of wine, waitress delivered the glass to the table however took 10 minutes to fill up the glass with the wine. The food was fine however unlikely to return here again due to the service.

In-house music was far too loud. A lounge-full of diners shouting at each other over the music was not pleasant. The food was lacking lustre. My starter looked like something my mother would make for school lunches. I also had chargrilled Octopus but the over seasoning of herbs and spices just left a burnt bitter after taste. My Pasta was hard, the sauce was missing some moisture, thank goodness the bug was beautiful...oh and my mocktails was cordial syrup over ice. We were not impressed. When asked about our meals I was brutally honest with my feedback. Wait staff were wonderful.

My wife and I recently dined here for lunch. The moment we stepped into the restaurant; we were treated so well. We were warmly greeted at the door by the staff. We were seated and the wait staff were very attentive and intuitive, making sure everything was OK and to our liking. To begin with, we chose oysters with some smaller dishes to share, followed by our mains. The dishes were fresh, tasty and delicious with lots of flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be telling our friends and family how great it was!

I can't more highly recommend this place. The food was AMAZING. So delicious. The dessert was to die for. We got a fantastic, sweet waiter (I can't recall his name) but he made it really enjoyable also. Thanks for a fantastic night we will definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Melbourne!!

Some wait staff were very friendly and accomodating. Took us 20 minutes until someone actually took our order and wait time between dishes were also very slow. Truffle mac and cheese under seasoned, bland and not up to standard for fine dining. Seafood fresh as ever.

Was a really good experience. The service was spot on and drinks, entree and mains all perfectly timed and delicious. Given the restaurant wasn’t full for our earlier reservation I think the spacing of occupied tables could have been better. That’s a very minor recommendation given the overall experience was fantastic.

Well, they have done it again! Rolled up on Grand final night without a booking and they graciously found my friend and I a table (Sat Nite in melb unheard off) what followed was a taste sensation from the fresh oysters, the spectacular. scallops and then the crescendo that came in the form of the Moreton Bay bug spaghettini with sides like baby carrots. and the Beer battered chips we ended it all the delicious cinnamon doughnuts. now we were truly in a food coma well done everyone first class all the way regards omar

Entrees were terribly disappointing! Oysters kilpatrick were small, pathetically presented, cold & were definitely not fresh. Prawns were chewy & flavourless - had to use the sauce to make them edible. ($140 wasted for the entrees!) The manager apparently ‘spoke’ to the chef … and that was it! Small bag of chocolates were offered by our waiter on the way out. Extremely astounded at the food that was presented by such a ‘premium’ restaurant. Hmmm …
