    The drinks were great. The service was questionable. I called multiple times for days before, during and outside of trading hours. I saw a note that said they preferred texts and so tried that too, I didn’t get any call backs or response. The first waiter (I think maybe the owner) didn’t seem to want us there at all which is wild since we were basically the only ones there and he had terrible customer service skills. After 6pm another guy started on the floor and he was way more friendly.

    I love the vibe of Mr Chester - relaxed but refined! I definitely would return to try more wines! The menu was not extensive but everything was amazing. Best Pizza I have had in Bris! The staff are fab - friendly & heaps of knowledge about all products!

    The wine selection is amazing and the staff really know their wines. They ask the right questions and challenge your thinking about what you like. We really enjoyed our night there.

    Mr Chester is worth a visit if you like a very enjoyable wine with very delicious but simple food. Staff were very attentive and professional. Highly recommend.

    Upon arrival we were greeted by a very stressed waiter complaining about too many bookings and having to fire a chef that day. Didn’t ask how we were, just launched into a tirade about his own day. We were seated opposite the toilet, in an extremely crowded area despite there being several free tables for two in other areas. Couldn’t hear ourselves talk over the noise of other patrons. No music, just very loud talking which echoes through the venue. Banquet was rushed out as fast as possible, food was average, pizza was burnt and one of the two options for pasta was unavailable, the vegetarian gnocchi which was what i went for. Asked for a margarita about 30 minutes in, waiter looked so bothered by me even asking for this, never received it. Probably the most unprofessional waiter I’ve ever had. So disappointed that our date night turned out like this. Won’t be visiting again.

    Service Fantastic! Food was outstanding! Wine was great! The staff where friendly left you be and where always there at the right time. Food came out in the best times. Overall can not wait to come back again. Value for money is Great!

    Dropped in for some wines and was delighted with the food menu. The sommelier gave perfect recommendations based on the wines we were drinking. Baked camembert and the squid ink linguine - amazing! Will be back for sure

    Third time back to Mr Chester and it never disappoints! Delicious food, incredible wine and really friendly staff who share so much knowledge about the wines. Always something new to try, a real hidden gem!

    What a hidden treasure! It is a perfect place for an intimate night out. The food is exceptional and the wine is divine. Staff are knowledgable and friendly and up for a chat if you are, otherwise they know when to leave you to your meal and company.
