Pizza's were ordered for the group of 16. Pizza's came out after 40 mins minimum and were raw and soft on the base and almost inedible. Staff told us that they can only cook 3 at a time with a 7 minute turnaround. The wood fire stone was actually cold to touch hence not getting the heat required to cook at appropriate temperature.

We went for lunch. The establishment is attractive, very tidy and modern. The older buildings appeared well renovated. The views across the fields were most pleasant while dining. Lunch is rather limited (pizza) but it was very tasty and the salad was very good. We thought the pricing of the wine-by-the-glass was pretentious (expensive) and did not sample. For a winery, it was very surprising that no information was provided on the wines. We visited the cellar door just to look and it is certainly has atmosphere. A great setting for wine and a charcuterie board. We enjoyed our stay and are contemplating the place for a weekend away.

This was our third visit to the winery. The staff was friendly but seemed unorganised. We were four people who paid in advance but when the food was served it was for 3. After getting the food sorted, the meat was dry, the carrots uncooked, the potatoes cold. This was not a good example of fine/good dining.

The food for the Fathers Day Lunch was ok. There were five of us and we were given on a platter 3 jacket potato’s, why not one each? Also there were 4 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of lamb. I did ask for more and we were given more. I didn’t understand why were not given at least one piece each to begin with. The lamb was overcooked and rather dry. The chicken and pork were fine. The staff were friendly enough but I definitely was overall a bit disappointed and wouldn’t book again for next year.

Delicious food. Friendly staff. If it’s light outside you have beautiful views to look onto. Restaurant ambience was a little echo-ey (maybe some more soft furnishing could help?) but overall a lovely meal.

Great atmosphere, and accommodation. The wine tasting , hot tub and fire pit were great. The cocktail of was not so good and the three course meal was a great disappointment. Totally loved the venue and would be 10 out of 10 if meals were improved

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Cleveland winery. Accomodation was superb. Dining experience was fantastic friendly staff great food and wine. Highly recommended. Will be back soon.

Friendly service, food was excellent. I had the lamb cutlets entree and eye fillet, my partner had the haloumi entree and barramundi. Although it was a little noisy, it was quite cosy.

We had an OK experience here. The only way we could put our finger on it is by realising that it's actually a function space trying be a restaurant. Bare walls, clinical lighting, it's an empty canvas waiting for a wedding decorator. Unfortunately, it makes for a very sterile dining environment. The menu appears to be decent and while the steak and fish we ordered were perfectly cooked, the dishes themselves were ordinary. 'Duck fat potatoes' were just bland roasted spuds. 'Carrot and cumin puree' had chunks of carrot still in it and didn't have a hint of cumin. 'Citrus quinoa' in the haloumi entree was just a bland quinoa. Our chocolate tart dessert with 'confit morello' cherries seemed like morellos out of a jar with some of the liquid dribbled around it. It's well intentioned but just doesn't hit the mark and ends up again feeling like a function space with alternating drop dishes. The wine list is confusing. In the middle of one of Victoria's up and coming wine regions, there are only 3 reds and one is South Australian. The dinner service was friendly and attentive, no complaints there. Breakfast, however, was in the process of falling apart with delays when the food ran out and made-to-order coffees with what we were told was about a half hour wait. (The recommendation was to use the perfectly fine pod machine you normally see at conventions.) In all, there's nothing terrible about this restaurant. And for the $65 for 2 course price tag, it's almost decent value. Perhaps it was an off night? But it certainly isn't the great dining experience that should accompany such a beautiful location as Cleveland Winery.

Would have to be one of the best pizza's i have every had great value for price, was not to impressed with the prices of wine ( but not being a wine drinker possibly do not realise the price of wine but for $17 a 1/4 glass seemed a bit rich, the spooler for the day though was the flies, realise very hard to do much about but spoiled the outing

Overpriced drinks and food. Lacks atmosphere and the single waiter was pleasant he was inexperienced ( probably because of staff shortages). Food was delivered in quick succession and started setting up for breakfast.

A disappointing experience due to lack of disabled access. The disabled parking is a long way from the restaurant The only way into the restaurant is up old concrete stairs with no hand rail A steep ramp was provided to exit with the assistance of amazing staff Food was meh Surroundings are beautiful

Only pizza on the menu, no vegan options on the day. Pizza oven was not working properly. We waited 75 minutes for lunch and pizza dough was not cooked. Many pizzas were sent back for additional cooking. We were not approached by staff after our order was taken so we only enjoyed one drink and were celebrating a special occasion. When I paid the bill, the staff behind the counter had been crying and were very upset. The young staff were left to deal with some very unhappy customers. No Manager in sight.

Convenient location onsite at Cleveland Winery. The dinner menu was kept to a minimum with 4 entree choices 4 main choices and 4 desserts. Still plenty of options and all sounded delicious. My pork belly entree was a tasty starter. The pumpkin risotto was the best flavour and needed no extras. Dessert panacotta had the perfect wobble!

(Father's Day lunch). Everything felt like an almost. The venue was lovely and the food was quite nice. The brisket, sliders and sides were awesome, unfortunately, the ribs and dessert were average. What let the whole experience down was the service. It seemed a very inexperienced team albeit quite friendly, which would have been fine if there was someone running the floor. It seemed no one seemed to know exactly what was going on. It looked like the two tables that arrived first were served last and although being a winery, not once were we offered a glass of wine. We had to ask each time. It is a real shame as this place has so much potential and we really hoped for a wonderful experience. I hope by giving a genuine review this will assist in improving future experiences.

We came back for our 6 year wedding anniversary with our two kids (10 m and 2.5ys) and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were great! They brought out lots of treats for the kids, took our family photo and were just lovely the whole time. Food and wine were delicious!

Had dinner at the Carriage House this weekend. Initially quite excited by the menu and location, but then things went pair shaped. A couple of waitresses were amazing, and really friendly but the rest let the side down. Slow service to get drinks, empty tables left uncovered and not "made up", made it look like a cheap cafe. The lighting for dinner was way too bright. The room needs some sort of art or coverings on the walls and it just totally lacked ambiance. The food wasn't too bad but overall the restaurant needs an experienced and good manager to bring it up to a decent standard and some investment. Could be a first rate experience but currently I wouldn't go back.

Amazing lunch sitting outside. Views are incredible. Kid friendly. Pizza was amazing! The wine tasting cellar was an incredible experience Highly recommend. We climbed hanging rock then came here for lunch, exceptional day!
