Nice place and interesting cocktails. Unfortunately some confusion over the bill at the end of our visit - they wouldn't let us pay as we ordered, and allowed people to pay as they left, everyone was certain they'd paid for their drinks but they insisted we still had to pay for one more drink before we left. That payment method makes it difficult to keep track when there is a big group.

It was ok, service was good but seats were uncomfortable and the music was very dated. Drinks tasted good but very small for the price! There wasn’t much food variety either. Overall just ok probably wouldn’t go back.

Was surprised and a little disappointed to see such a small menu of cocktails at this cocktail bar, but the drinks they make they do well I must say. The cheese and corn empanadas are delish. While our waitress was quite sweet she could answer the three questions we had about the red wine or cocktail ingredients, she might have been new but probably needs a bit more drink knowledge given the kind of bar it is..

Dreadful food. Tasteless Barra in broth, Asian greens not Asian (Cauliflower and carrot). Service was good. Diss appointed overall as it was over $200 for 2 people.

We chose to sit outside but were placed next to the car park which was just not great. Service was good and very attentive however I ordered a vodka martini and got gin and we had whisky soda which was served in both tall and short glasses, inconsistent for a cocktail bar. Very minor issues and would not deter me from returning or recommending as a great little cocktail bar!

I love this place - the drink variety was great and so unique, created by the Head Barman who took the time to explain the ideas and tastes behind the cocktails. A cosy setting with a great atmosphere.

Absolutely loved Lily Blacks! My friends and I came here for after dinner cocktails and the server that looked after us was amazing, she was great! Drinks were delicious and unique, and the ambience was divine. Highly recommend!

Lily Black has a great, smoky atmosphere (dark and cosy) and good music level. Really nice feel and always love an entrance of an alleyway. Excellent pre drinks before San Telmo, which is right next door.

Enjoyable evening with lovely helpful friendly service. Cocktail list was difficult to understand all the ingredients but were quite nice. Snack options are small but lovely. Loved the broccoli, divine.

Great vibe and drinks but if you’re going to have table service and you only have 15 customers in the restaurant then it’s unacceptable to have to wait 10 minutes with an empty glass and then have to approach the bar for service to be told to sit back down and your waiter will be with you soon.

Didn't eat so can't comment re: that. The cocktails ordered were as described on the menu - yummy and meticulously made. The service was attentive and friendly. A great place to have a drink before dinner in the hood. My one gripe: they have QR codes on each table to view the digital menu, BUT, they only have one laminated A4 printed QR code paper to check in that they share and pass around to everyone who arrives. Not really C19 smart - should have one on a table so that everyone isn't touching the same thing!

Highly rated bar that focuses on cocktails, we agreed it should be highly rated. The service was excellent, staff were patient and polite. They has a great knowledge of what went into the drinks and the origins of the products. The cocktails were delicious with a very good variety. My pick was the Tasmanian Devil, with a fantastic twist on the espresso martini. Definately worth booking a table, recommended as a few came and left disappointed as they had no booking.

We book for a friends Hens, Service was amazing, ambiance was great, Drinks were fantastic, and even when we didn't know what we wanted they waiters picks were fantastic. Will 100% be recommending them to everyone and definaly be going back.

The cocktails were delicious, if a little small. Great atmosphere & decor, super friendly staff. However the service was incredibly slow, we were there for an hour and only managed one cocktail. We got there at 8pm and were seated for at least 20 minutes before someone even took our order. Such a shame, it’s a really nice place, I wanted to stay longer & spend my money but we ended up going elsewhere as it was just too slow.
