The Palm Los Angeles
Great meal here, and good service. Cool building inside. We both had filet steaks and were not disappointed.
Steak was overcooked so they took it off the bill. Water glasses were left empty and waiter was too busy to check quality of steak after delivery. Not worth the money.
Apps were good. But wife’s steak was cold and over cooked. Her sauce was frigid.
The vegetables were barely steamed and had no flavor.
Wine was overpriced.
Lobster was great. Crabmeat was great.
Desserts were pretty good.
Wonderful servers and staff. Food was amazing.
It's my go to restaurant when I have to treat someone special; food is consistent, service is impeccable.
Manager, Demetri always very personable.
Shell was a fantastic server!
We ordered a lot of food but the table we got was way too small while the restaurant had so many empty tables that we could have used. I don’t know why they stick people like us at such a small table. I was not happy about that.
Was in town celebrating my birthday, and the Palm was on my list of places to try.... They did not disappoint !!
The Palm is always a treat. Great Food, Great Service are the hallmarks of this restaurant. This is a great restaurant.
I’m so glad he palm updated their menu. It definitely needed it. What I don’t understand is why they don’t have a few good vegetarian options with so many vegetarians out there now.
Other than that I love the ambiance, service and food. It’s a treat going there.
Anniversary dinner with families we try the lobster and steaks so good can wait to go back
Good summer special of 4 lbs. lobster for two. The lobster took a long time but the meal is go. Service is excellent.
Scrumptious lobster well served and eating it outdoors made it more desirable. We got away from the cold and loud interior.
Hunter is great! Service out of the kitchen was slow.
We had the BEST service, dinner & evening!! Thank you to an amazing staff for making our celebration the most spectacular evening!
My daughter and I were celebrating our birthdays together. Outstanding cocktails, dinner and dessert. We split the lobster special and added steaks to order. Our server was meticulous and attentive. Chic ambiance and vibe. Thank you for a fun evening.
Netter Laden im typischen amerikanischen Stil. Super Essen zu eher kleinen Preisen.
Simply the best steak and lobster in L.A. Always excellent, professional staff. We love taking guests there and go often.
Awesome I'll be back soon, you can take that to the bank
We love the lobster special at the Palm. Sometimes the service is great, and sometimes it's not. This time the service was terrible.
The palm is a classy, traditional restaurant. The recent menu changes are an improvement. The salmon Caesar is wonderful. But The biggest issue is there are NO vegetarian options. Seriously put a few veggie items in the menu. A gourmet veggie burger, a nice pasta dish. They need to get with the times.
Also music is always too loud lately.
Great restaurant. Would definitely go back
Wish there was one in Ventura County!
As always, a fabulous meal and great service. Our waitress was particularly attentive and great to interact with. Look forward to my next visit.
The Palm is my very favorite downtown L A restaurant. Good food and outstanding service. All really good.
This place never disappoints.
Prices quite high
Hunter Was great good service and exceptional food never a disappointment
Overall nice meal. Food was fantastic. Service was good but we felt a bit rushed to move on to each next course during our dinner. Strange as the place was less than half full. The Palm is pricey 300 bucks for 2 so we were hoping to enjoy our special occasion dinner conversation at our own pace and savor the experience.
The service is always fabulous!
Great food and excellent, attentive service. The waiter (Jerry) was funny, engaging, and while there when needed didn't hover. Great steaks and awesome bread!!
My experience was nice, it was just a shock how people act when you ask them to split the checks. Maybe they can ask ahead of time how you would like to receive the bill.
I had the Ribeye steak cooked medium rare >¥<]]It melted in my mouth Loved it!!!
Been there once before, but had to go back. The food is amazing. I ordered the filet mignon again, cause every bite of it melts in your mouth, it’s so tender. Also ordered the bacon appetizer again & my daughter tried it for the first time & was amazed of how delicious it is. Will go back again when I want a delicious tasty great steak. 2 thumbs up!!
The service was excellent and the food was good. Nothing on the menu is unique or memorable. It’s a good high quality restaurant.
It's June lobster season at The Palm and their lobster dinner for two was simply amazing - for us, warm bread and butter to accompany bowls of creamy lobster bisque followed by a 4 pound lobster to share, plus their amazing asparagus fritti. We had enough lobster left over to bring home and make our own sinful lobster mac and cheese, which was almost as delicious as the first meal (but it took awhile to make!) We highly, highly recommend The Palm and wish we had one of their restaurants in the Palm Springs area!
The service and food was outstanding. Our server was AMAZING! Everything was just great. My boyfriend enjoyed everything and it was his first time. Thank you!
Outstanding! Outstanding! Outstanding!
This place has gone down in my book. Was one of 2 tables at 8Pm on a Thursday. Menu shrunk, food took longer than normal. Place was empty and dead silent and still sat us by the door. Steak was good as expected but not good enough to justify the price anymore. At gratin potatoes undercooked. Lobster was fair.
Took my son for his 22nd birthday. Our server, Maria, was great. Bone-in filet mignonette was very good, but not great. Not hot off the grill as they had a kitchen snafu where my son’s bone-in ribeye was mixed up with another order. But my son loved the steak. Creamed spinach was great. Mushroom side not quite great. Maria suggested the Caymus Cabernet which, at $175, was pricey but excellent. All in all a great, memorable occasion. Will return.
The highlight of my meal was a very slightly better than average Cesar Salad. The steak was not good. A bad cut, not prepared exceptionally well and with no flavor. The sides were just okay.
