Claim Jumper - Tukwila
The food, service, and atmostphere are always good
You stuck his way in the back. Then you forgot us. I told you it was a birthday party for my 16 year old granddaughter. When herb birthday dessert came it was melted. And only one server came up to us to sing Happy Birthday. It took forever to even place an order. She kept forgetting things and having to come back to the table over and over because she forget things because she probably was too busy somewhere else because we were stuck way in the back.. although the server was quite funny and pleasant the whole experience was a sad ordeal. And you're too expensive for such crappy service spent over $100.
We brought Grandpa in for dinner while he was visiting from out of town. He loves meat and potatoes. Claim Jumper didn’t disappoint.
Not the same as the last time we were there.
The food was bad. Servings alot smaller then they used to be.
I had the macaroni and cheese as one of my sides and it tasted like Kraft deluxe. The sauce was runny and didn't taste like cheese. The asparagus was burnt and tasted like wood. The steak was a very cheap one. My steaks here at home are 100 times better then what they served.
Will never go back....
Worst service ever - took 35 minutes and three requests for water, waiter brought me wrong cocktail, took over 20 minutes to get correct drink, then charged me for both; neglected to place order for the soup or salad we ordered, suddenly our entrees appeared without soup or salad coming out; requested butter three times, never got it; waiter was polite but on his third day needed a whole lot more training
Booked our reservation for 8 for a 6:30pm dinner... check in was smooth and was about a 10 minute wait until our host got us too our table. Not bad. Majority of the issues were with the waitress, whether it be forgetting part of our meal and delivering it mid way through our dinner (Mac & cheese and sour cream) too bringing us our beers that where bottled and us having to take out a bottle opener from our key chains too open our own beer. Forgetting one of the beers until we were almost done... Then the kicker was when the waitress asked if we were all on one check in which we weren’t it was 3 separate checks..... she asked us if we could circle what we ordered so she could separate it.... what kind of service is that????? Nice establishment but waitress was scattered brained all over....
the service was very GOOD!!! I would join for a another Beautiful evening of again THANK-YOU.
The food was great, but our server was not so great
We had children with us making loud noises and you could tell she didn't like it
Food was amazing, service was great. i would recommend this place to anyone
I was to say the least, disappointed based on visits several years ago. We were greeted with "sit wherever you like" it was apparent that the waiter was not interested in servicing our party, to find out it was close to the end of his shift. He finally took our orders, never put the complete order in, never returned with the drinks. We now know why, looked out the window and he was entering his car to leave. Bad experience overall. When we left we overheard the same sentiments about the service or lack thereof. Last visit to this location for me or anyone that I know.
We made reservations and our table was ready about 10 minutes after the scheduled time (which was fine.) The restaurant was clean and open. Our server either needed assistance or training, as he was not timely, attentive or able to correctly get meals and drinks to us. We waited much longer than expected for drinks, refills, him to check back after the runners brought our food to see about mistakes or additional items needed, and our checks. The entire experience took about 35-40 minutes longer than it should have due to delays in waiting on the server. The food was good. Much too large of portions, but apparently that is their schtick. I don't know if we will go back, but it was a fine enough meal.
It was a long wait for drinks and again for food. The runner who brought out our entrees admitted, “I don’t know what this is” to one of the plates. Must be new?
The food was very tasty and there were a lot of options. The alcoholic drink prices could be a dollar or two cheaper but they were good. Save room for dessert!
Your desserts are spectacular. The salads were also excellent.
Overall it was a good dining experience. Food wasn’t bad and service was also on the better side.
Service was fantastic, however the meal not so much. Food quality was off that night and not a value for the price spent. I had been there before with no issues. Bad night for the cook.
Pleasantly surprised with the brunch buffet. So many different options to choose from. The food was all delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will be coming back again, soon!
they were very busy at this time and so the servers were confused one whos food was whos a couple of times. drinks came out later than normal. they had to go back to the desserts because they forgot to bring them and we also had a server in training.
all in all the food was well made and tasted great!
Normally I have a good dinner at Claim Jumper. We ordered the tri-tip with sides. They bring out the tri-tip missing the sides that we ordered. We asked them to bring us those sides. 5 minutes later the manager comes out and says they are out of rice pilaf (our original order), hard to believe at 7pm, but ok. We order other sides that take sometime to come out. Meanwhile our main is getting frozen. They bring out a hard uncooked baked potato for me. I told them it was un edible. My wife was disappointed with the uncooked vegetables that were rushed as well. They did not offer anything further. They said our server should have told us that they were out of our original request. They did not, so we ate a cold main (cold tri-tip), and picked at the alternate sides that were undercooked. No offer to reduce the bill or further apology from the manager. Poorly managed kitchen and management. I wish the management would contact us to apologize for this travesty of a dinner.
2 out of 3 meals were inedible. Granted it was on Father’s Day but wow were there a lot of people. Server was great. For the price of the meals you would expect them to be better. Salmon was so burnt, asparagus undercooked, filet mignon had NO flavor, and mac & cheese was beyond flavorless waste of $130.
Hello, I usually have a very excellent experience when I go the Claim Jumpers. We made a reservation and arrived just in time to find the outside area crowded, the entrance jammed and the waiting area packed shoulder to shoulder. We were told that people with a reservation at 11:00am had not been seated yet. Ours was for 11:30. The food was set up in the bar. You would have to fight your way through the jamb in the waiting area to get there and back from the seating area. I observed several people running this gauntlet. Fighting their way through the crowd with plates of food. I found this unacceptable and we left.
We went for Father's Day Brunch at 10:30 a.m. More than half of the dishes were empty and slow to be refilled and some of the items that were supposed to be hot were cold. The food was okay, but they were not well prepared for a large Sunday Brunch. Price too high given that most of the food that was supposed to be there wasn't.
The food was delicious. The service was slow although we don't know why. Our server was pleasant yet seemed flustered. Did not like our seating. Noticed immediately upon arriving to our table that we were in an abandoned back corner that was very dirty - there was food all under our table and the table was sticky. When leaving, noticed that in general the floors were dirty, there was spilled food all the way back to the entryway, including spilled sauce of some kind. It was late-ish when we were there but come on. Police the floors. Drinks seem quite expensive, yet the food was well-priced. Thank you.
Luis, our waiter, was great. He was very outgoing & knowledgeable of the menu.
The Fish & Chips were amazing!!
While my date had the Tri-Tip Pizza with the Horse Radiah on the side, that was outstanding as well!
We haven’t been there in a few years but that night, due to the great service by Luis and the great food, we will back soon!
My reservation was for a party of 3. However, by the time we arrived to the restaurant we were an party of 6. The staff was very accommodating to the increase in the numbers. The staff made my friends and family feel welcome and comfortable. My appreciation for the service.
We had a large party that they very easily accommodated. Our server was always on top of things and made sure everyone was taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our party found something they liked and every single one of us said our meal was delicious.
It was nice to find a place with the space to accommodate our large group & would take reservations. Our Server was also great!
Great food and wonderful service. Portions are generous!
Was there on Memorial Day and was celebrating a friend's graduation from Marine Corps Boot Camp and the loss of one of my battle buddies. Server comped our shots for our lost brother to battle.
Server was on top of everything before we could request or ask for it.
The food was spectacular. Everything from appetizers to desert. The porterhouse excellent. Got it cooked medium. Melted in my mouth. Next time going to go medium rare.
Kind of overlriced for the quality of food. Service waa slow even though it wasn't very busy.
The check people seemed rude. Not a god day for him I guess. One person in our party was pregnant and they gave us a tight booth was not comfortable for my pregnant friend. I heard people at the next booth complaining that they are large people why would seat them in a tight booth. You need tell your staff that maybe pregnant or larger people should be seated in a larger booth or a table. Common sense in my mind.
Got severe acid reflux. Unpleasant food and service experience. However, the manager worked hard to fix the many problems that night.
I had fond memories of this regional chain and was excited to return. My excitement quickly turned to disappointment as we waited what seemed like an eternity to place our order and then another to get the food. Starting with the first course, the croutons were stale, my husband's salad was drenched in dressing. There were four of us and two had steaks - not great. I had coconut Shrimp and ribs - just okay at best. So across several food types, the food was mediocre at best. I won't be back to this location soon.
Good quick meal
My main and really only issue is that the plates are cold so by the time one gets through the line and back to their table the food is luke warm to cold.
Remember when Claim Jumper was good? Those days are gone. The menus have shrunk as well as the portions and quality. Everything ordered was mediocre at best. Dull food, nothing enjoyable anymore. They were basically phoning it in, even the menus were falling apart in our hands. Whoever bought Claim Jumper ruined them.
I've loved Claim Jumper for a long time. Our server was great, we had a party of 9 and despite there being two larger birthday parties present at the same time with young kids, it wasn't too loud, food came out at a reasonable time and my entire party enjoyed their meal and the service we received.
Since being sold by Landry’s, this location has gone downhill in both food quality and service. In addition, the facility is not well maintained and the A/C doesn’t work well, so it’s usually too warm. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Celebrated a birthday brunch. Good eats and atmosphere. Our server brought the birthday girl a special cake!
The quality of the food has declined over the last few years from “good” to “tasteless”. It took so long for our salad to come out that we had literally eaten 1 or 2 bites before our entrees arrived. We dined at 5 pm on Saturday night, it was not busy at all. The service was friendly and we were seated right away. Please bring back the high quality food we enjoyed 10 years ago when my husband and I enjoyed our first date there!
