This is one of my favorite place in Ottawa. It's worth every dollars.

Restaurant e18hteen is one of, or is the, top restaurant in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. The service is impeccable. The food is perfectly prepared and presented. Without doubt comparable to the best in restaurants in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and other great restaurants throughout Canada. A "must try" for the uninitiated. A "must go back" for those of us who have privileged to sample the food here.

We were celebrating some good news over dinner, and the Eighteen staff definitely made our experience memorable there. The host was very patient and answered all of our questions as it is rare for my family to have a Steak. He even suggested wine pairings for the family member not having a Steak. I was a little anxious going to eat indoors in the Covid-19 world, but the restaurant has the tables well spaced out. We will go back once the restaurants open up again.

First restaurant visit after months of COVID-related restraint. The team felt that and arranged an unforgettable evening! Wonderful dishes, steaks to the point, great wines thanks to very good advice. A light on the horizon in these dark times and a glimmer of hope, what awaits us afterwards in culinary regard again!

We had such a great first experience at e18hteen. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable on the menu and wine pairings. We had an absolutely delicious meal of perfectly cooked steaks, veggies and mushrooms. We will be going back again for sure!

Much too expensive compared to other restaurants of the same type in Ottawa. Cold burrata straight out of the fridge( the center was hard) .

The food was perfect. Everything exactly as ordered. We did not feel at all uncomfortable as all tables were socially distanced. Great restaurant.

From start to end the food was delicious. Portions are comparable to fine dining. The ambiance was romantic from our corner spot. Wine list was adequate and cocktails was excellent. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

We really enjoyed our meal and the ambiance. The restaurant is so beautiful and the fireplace added to the warmth.

My burrata salad came a bit cold and they were happy to bring it to room temperature for me.

The oyster dipping sauces were spectacular and very innovative - nicely done.

Considering the COVID restrictions the restaurant did a fantastic job keeping physical distancing measures in place. The staff was excellent and very welcoming.
The food was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone for special occasion or just a night out. the fireplace provides great ambiance and warmth in these cooler temps.

We made reservations on Friday for 7:45. We were greeted very warmly and shown to our table promptly. I started with the espresso martini which was phenomenal. We also asked about their premium tequila selection at which point the bartender approached us with a bottle of Clase Azul and immediately sold us on it.

We ordered the oyster and burrata to start. The oysters were very fresh and the condiments were great. The burrata was out of this world.

For mains we had the duck and lobster roll. top notch quality and beautiful presentation.

It was a bit on the pricy side, however I think it was worth it.

Amazing dining experience. My only comment would be the lobster was a tad chewy, however this was only my second time eating lobster so perhaps that’s how the protein is supposed to be? The flavour was amazing though, as was everything else we ate and drank. The servers are attentive and charismatic, will definitely be coming back!

Went for our 18th Anniversary dinner. E18hteen never disappoints! Excellent food and drinks. Really good service and the staff knows exactly how to deal with Celiac disease and took great care of me! Probably my favorite restaurant in Ottawa!

Wonderful experience! The Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel special for my mom's 60th birthday. The food and presentation were amazing. We will definitely visit again!

E18teen is a beautiful restaurant located within Ottawa's Byward Market. It is a higher end restaurant with exceptional service and prices comparable with similar style restaurants. The food is good with surprisingly larger portions than one would expect. I had the rib eye steak with mushrooms and fries, while my wife had the Lobster Pasta, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. As it was my wife's birthday, she received a complimentary desert which was well appreciated One small annoyance was that we were charged $15 more for our wine (FRAPPATO, MANDRAROSSA,) than was listed on the menu (which unfortunately we didn't notice until after we had left). Overall, a pleasant meal in a pleasing environment.
