RA Sushi is rolling up an exciting dining experience for all. Located outside of Yorktown Center, RA Sushi Lombard serves up a fresh, creative, Japanese-inspired menu. Join us for a casual lunch in the afternoons, a night out in the evenings or a RA'ckin Happy Hour offered twice a day Monday through Saturday and in the evening on Sundays. They had overbooked the OpenTable reservations so we had to wait 30 mins. First time that's happened. Food was good but portions were small. Our waitress was great and attentive.

I've eaten here twice for lunch & the sushi is very good. Took the family on Friday, sat down in the dining room with blasting music only to be ignored for about 15+ minutes by 3 different waitresses. Not once did any staff even acknowledge we were there. Then, all waitstaff disappeared for 5-7 minutes from the dining room leaving us & every other table looking around for help. We got up and walked out never even getting a glass of water. I told the front desk what happened & they apologized & asked if they should call the GM. Um, yeah, so the GM wasn't at the store? Were there any managers? OK. So the place is run unsupervised with employees that have no business in the service industry. Later I told this story to friends & three of them said they had the same experience with the waitstaff. Don't waste your time.

I found the food to be like a fast food version of what I was expecting. It was just missing something. I ordered a Salmon Teriyaki Bento box and the salmon didn't have almost any seasoning or flavor. My miso soup was brought borderline cold too. I ate it as is, but it was definitely lacking as it wasn't hot. My friend ordered sushi for lunch and it came with no ginger and no wasabi.

We reserved a table in the main dining room. Upon arrival, they would only offer us seating in the bar area & made excuses as to why they couldn’t honor a reservation. The host could use some training on customer interaction. The food was good, but arguing over the obvious, was a poor way to start our dinner.

The bartender was attentive, informed and pleasant. There were several servers/bartenders in the bar but it still seemed chaotic for them. (Not very crowded, but disorganized nonetheless).

There was this masons frozen dessert machine at the end of the bar, that obstructed their/our view and made it hard for them to serve us. I recommend finding another place for it as it takes away from the ambience too.

We were greeted warmly. The ambience was casual-romantic. Candles on the tables, low lighting but the way the servers were dressed made it seem more laid back.
My wife ordered sake and I ordered a matcha drink (it was called something like "I matcha you very much"). I was told they were probably out of the ingredients for the matcha drink but she would check. After checking back several times I was eventually told they were out of the ingredients and offered something else, which I declined.
We ordered a total of 3 maki rolls a 1 miso soup. The miso soup was ok but quite salty. My wife got a specialty roll with smoked salmon and thought it was ok. She liked the monkey roll. I got the zonnie roll and thought the salmon taste quite fishy. The sushi was very mediocre and expensive for the quality.
After we finished eating our plates were cleared fairly promptly. Then we sat there. And sat there. And sat there. I had a birthday club reward so when we finally saw our server I asked for the check and showed her the reward certificate. She said she would apply it. It was a several minutes before she came back. When she did the certificate was apllied but that matcha drink was on the bill. She was no where to be found. So we again sat and sat and sat. We had a movie to get to and it was frustrating waiting when I initially asked for the bill in plenty of time. When we arrived there were only 3 or 4 tables seated in the entire restaurant. It did get a bit busier a over the course of the meal but there still were no more than 10 seated and tons of servers. Eventually she came back and fixed the bill. In total it took over 15 minutes from the time I requested the bill to the time we left - and this was after we had been sitting with our table cleared for some time.

Everything was good from the bar service to table service . The only complaint I have is that the portions are not as big as I would like them to be for the price, nonetheless the food was amazing and I would definitely go back.

I feel this restaurant would lift itself into a higher end destination if they changed a few things. Prices are right food is tasty and unique. Interior is well designed. Get the staff out of T-shirts and jeans, turn off the televisions and replace the menus with new clean versions.

This is one of my family's go-to restaurants. Always good food and fun drinks. Plus, if you order before 7:00 p.m., there are a ton of half-price options. This time we were joined by friends so there were six people in our party. We ordered drinks and about 8 different sushi rolls, miso soup, edamame, chicken skewers & tempura shrimp. It was ALL fantastic and we had plenty for everyone. If I have one complaint (and its a small one) it was a little loud. Kinda hard to hear across the table. But all-in-all, we had a great meal and a great time. Plus it cost less than $100 per family with 20% tip.

We went there on Christmas day for Dinner. Food was good, but service was extremely slow. There seemed to be only two servers in the entire restaurant. The food order came out in reverse order. Sushi rolls first, then appetizers and soup came out last after the server was reminded that we were missing the order.

We ended up sitting at the bar since the restaurant was pretty empty. The bartender was great, food came out perfect and it should have been a 5 star night but it wasn’t.

There was a table of staff & friends sitting to the side of us clearly heavily drinking. One of the girls had a martini type drink in one hand, was vaping at the table and drinking sake all at the same time. Others were a bit loud, running in and out of the kitchen helping themselves to drinks and no one was putting anything on a ticket.

It was a super turn off, poorly managed- not sure that I would go back.

Bento box steak was fatty, hard to chew and not fully cut by chef. Only 2/5 tempura pieces was shrimp. One section of bento box just rice. Great service really poor quality of food used .

Seated right away which we thought was a good sign but little did we know things were going to go downhill. We waited awhile for our server, and when she finally came we ordered our wine, app, and sushi. The app came out immediately which was nice, followed by the sushi two minutes later. A little rushed but still fine. She came back saying they ran out of wine glasses and it would be a few more minutes. Who runs out of wine glasses?! So we paused our meal to wait for the wine. I’ve never had to pause in the middle of the meal before. We finally got our wine, sushi was great, service was lacking.

Went to Ra for a birthday dinner. Menu has plenty of options. Between us we had the Pork Gyoza, Spring Roles, Chicken Teriyaki, California Rolls, Philadelphia Rolls,Ahi Tuna Poke, Surf & Turf Roll, Scallop Dynamite Roll, and Cucumber Roll.

The Gyoza were really good, but the Spring Rolls were doughy. The sushi was all fresh and tasty. The Surf & Turf and Scallop Rolls were especially good. The Chicken Teriyaki was just average.

The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, but very dark. We had to use the flashlight function on the cellphones a couple of times.

A bit disappointed in our experience at RA. It took over 30min to receive our sushi order. Our server informed us that it was taking a while and brought over free edamame. However, we could see the sushi chefs from our table, they had been hardly working while we were waiting. It was pretty evident that our server forgot to put our order in.

Sushi was good. Udon noodles we ordered good but the chicken seemed like it has been previously been cooked and frozen and just tossed into the stir fry.

As always the food was delicious. However the service was sub par. It took the server 10 minutes to touch our table and see if anyone had helped us. Which no one had. We ordered an app and finished that before the server asked if we wanted more food. Someone heard a joke by my friend that I wanted another Diet Pepsi and brought one to me when that isn’t at all the drink I had been drinking. It’s hard to want to drive an hour to grab delicious sushi when the service seems to get worse and worse each time I go.
