Chef Lee brings his 27 years experience to our kitchen and creates a mix of sushi and innovative Izakaya inspired dishes using carefully sourced local ingredients. Sharing is caring in the tradition of Asian dining, so we encourage a tapas style dining experience whether you are a group of two or twenty.
Zushi is fully licensed and offers an exciting list of cocktails for those who have worked up a thirst. We also love sharing our passion for sake, beer and wines to match your meal.

Menu
We booked Zushi for a long lunch to end our weekend stay in Surry Hills. It was perfect! We ordered the $55 set menu and added some oysters and scallops.
The food journey was just what we needed, starting off very fresh and ending on the warm duck and vegetables.
All of the seafood tasted fresh and the duck was cooked to perfection.
Would definitely return.

My friend and I visited on a busy Friday night and had the $75 tasting menu. The food was delicious but my only complaint is that the salmon was slightly over done for my liking. That said, I will definitely be back more for another wonderful dining experience.

The food was very fresh and well presented. The service was good but the steak was chewy and unlike any Wagyu I have had before. The Barangaroo restaurant steak was far superior and cooked well.
I would not recommend the steak in the Surry hills restaurant

I had lunch on a balmy weekday and the restaurant was bustling. The service was prompt and helpful and there was a great range of Japanese beer and saki. We would highly recommend Zushi for a healthy lunch with great authentic Japanese disheds

The staff were fantastic and efficient and knowledgable. It was really loud so quite hard to hear the person I was with however the ambience was good and really enjoyed sitting upstairs on the loft part. Overall would defs come back again and loved the experience!

Excellent venue, excellent service and delicious food
Great value set menu @ $55 per person. Each dish was delicious and fresh. My only criticism would be that it was all served a bit too quickly but was not enough to put me off coming again!

Went for Valentine’s Day, very busy but staff gave excellent service and were always on top of us, food was incredible and served so fast. Will be coming again soon for the Wagyu steak!

We had a pleasant meal. We had ordered the degustation so we could try different things. The presentation was good, service polite and mostly helpful, the food was OK but not amazing. The music was a bit loud, but luckily we were outside but it was still a bit distracting. Some portions were quite small but we were full enough by the end of the main course.

The best sushi vibe in Sydney. Super chilled, superb produce and the smiliest team in town. I frequent Zushi in Surry Hills with my family and friends and it's my go-to establishment for business lunches and dinners in Barangaroo and I know several other businesses who feel the same way.
