Very good food. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice atmosphere
You can’t get tired of this place! Love the food ambiance and service.
Food and service was great, being in Barangaroo it was a bit over priced.
Initially seated in direct in our face sunlight, sushi with bones and fish scales and gluggy rice, inability to order various different sushi’s... not the greatest meal.
Service and Food were fantastic. Particularly the Bao Buns. Our only criticism would be that the dishes came all at once, we would have preferred some time between. It would give us the chance to appreciate each dish more.
Overall very happy with our experience and looking forward to returning.
It's my second time in 2 weeks and service was amazing. Food was perfect. I took 4 other friends that haven't been to Zushi before and they left stating it was their new favourite restaurant....that said, we were all disappointed there was no STICKY DATE PUDDING on the menu! Bring back the SDP. It should be a permanent offering on the menu!
Thank you to Zushi staff for their attentive service. I went there to celebrate my birthday and the staff was so helpful. I highly recommend Zushi Barangaroo location!
Excellent food and great cocktails. Would highly recommend.
Great food and service
Always a fabulous dining experience
Another lovely night spent at Zushi! Delicious and beautifully prepared sashimi and sushi!
Fresh sashimi and loved the beef tataki. Nice view of the wharf too
Awesome service - best in Sydney. Food is fantastic but the sticky date pudding should be a PERMANENT dessert!!! It’s amazeballs! 😊
Super attentive and friendly service. Catered well for children. Some amazing flavours in the smaller dishes. The Barramundi was not amazing and quite small for the price. The Bun Bow was incredible.
The guys at Zushi we're absolutely fantastic - one if the girls was very helpful with a cake I had delivered for a birthday celebration! The rest of the staff were all happy to help
Great meal, excellent service never felt like they were rushing us out. Prawns are a must!
Lovely meal. Sashimi could have been a little colder but it was an incredibly hot day. Food was delicious and I thought reasonably priced given the serving size.
Efficient and honest wait staff. Nice ambience However, slightly noisy at times.
Service was slow.
The food was delicious. The waitstaff were very polite, friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, for any occasion.
we have been there on previous occasions. unfortunately when large groups are also dining the noise level is uncomfortable particularly if the group(s) is noisy. makes it difficult to have conversation at your own table at a moderate speaking level. food and service remains of high quality
A wonderful lively restaurant right at the waterfront at Barangaroo. The food is always fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are attentive, friendly and make you feel welcome. I have a gluten intolerance and the menu caters perfectly and the team are all aware of what dishes are suitable without having to check with the chefs.
The only thing to be aware of is that the tables at Zusghi are positioned really closely together so I would recommend Zushi for anything other than an intimate date.
Average Sushi. Nothing special about it.
attentive service, but i do think the food is a little too expensive, maybe because it is barangaroo area.
Good ambience and helpful staff. Food is fine and of the right price. Ingredients fresh. A la carte is better than the tasting menu
Food was delightful, from the sashimi to the honey prawns. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed the Karate Man carafe.
Very good ribs and great atmosphere
The food was very good but service was simply horrible. From the moment we checked in (we had a reservation) to the 30 min wait to get our glasses of wine and appetizer, to the main course showing up at the same time as the wine and appetizer.
We had told the waitress to hold on to order our main course until our appetizer was done. She never did and when we told the Manager he did not try to fix the situation.
Fab staff Xmas party dinner! Beautiful food!
Horrible sushi, using the wrong kind of rice, everything was falling apart. Very average Japanese food and they're prices don't align with their quality (or lack of) food. You are expecting much better food and service when on such prime real estate of Sydney. Service was also terrible it was over 33 degrees yesterday afternoon, their venue is NOT air conditioned and the waiters didn't offer any ice water, we had to ask...and then wait a further 10 minutes just for water after being seated. (and NO, it wasn't busy there was only 3 tables being services Monday night at 6:00PM). The Surry Hills venue is nice, however the Barangaroo restaurant is complete rubbish!!
This is my second time at Zushi, I love how the staff would ask if we wanted brown or white rice (which is a nice touch since we all had different preferences) The food was wonderful, the only downfall was that we had to pay for the birthday ice cream, which was fine but I assumed it was on the house because the first time I went to Zushi it was free, but overall an amazing place and i would definitely come back again!
Great food and the staff are very knowledgeable on Coeliac Disease and what gluten free options are available. Staff are lovely and went above and beyond for birthday celebrations - surprised me with a dessert. Highly recommend!
Zushi Barangaroo has become our favourite restaurant to go to for family occasions. We had a lovely time on my husband’s birthday. Previously they have provided sparklers on a small cake when you inform them that the occasion is a birthday. Unfortunately it wasn’t done this time which was disappointing. Anyway we still had a great night. Thanks again!
Food was great, service was great and we loved the sheltered outdoor dining experience. The staff were very attentive. Two of us were vegetarian and the vego dishes were also delicious.
We went for the tasting menu which was priced at $75 per person and went home pretty hungry, Some of us got Maccas on the way back. We understand it is a tasting menu but for that kind of money it needs to be substantial
We tried the tasting menu$75, but the fish and wague beef was a bit burnt after frying and taste a bit bitter. The rest of the dish are fine.
First time at Zushi and cant wait to go back! Sashimi was to die for!
Great food and exceptional service. Wait staff very accommodating and attentive.
Venue ambiance was perfect, the staff very attentive & friendly, the quality of the food was divine! Would highly recommend Zushi for special occasions or if you're just after high quality Japanese cuisine.
Great & consistent food, very nice setting. Great for work lunches. A favourite of mine.
