It was not an “amazing” quite average to be honest. I was expecting more.

I did the chef's tasting menu. I think because I had high expectations for tasting menu I was rather disappointed with the food. For context, I live in San Francisco Bay Area and am an avid traveler and self-proclaimed foodie. It was good, just not outstanding. Some dishes had good flavor profiles but landed flat with the plating. There were 6 courses total: mini tuna crudo tostada starter, salad, another mini tostada with pork belly, mushroom soup, my main selection of braised beef, and dessert. I will say that at the price point of 900 pesos for the tasting menu it was a bargain on my American wallet (the tasting menus at SF fine dining establishments run on average US$300 p.p. not including wine, taxes or gratuities).

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst meal I've had in Mexico. This felt like a scam. We went to Zumo for New Years. They did not communicate the price of their menu upon booking. So it was a terrible surprise to arrive and find out the $200 USD per person price tag. Each dish that came out was worse than the previous one. None of the dishes justified the price tag. Their "foie gras" dish was a terrible cream on top of membrillo. the wine they served as part of the menu was subpar. Even though we barely ate. We felt sick after the meal. The food they served was a disgrace to Mexico.
Plus side is they have a nice view. But it was terribly cold and exposed to wind. The whole atmosphere was chaotic.

What a delightful find. Beautiful, spacious terrace with a wonderful view of the city. Excellent, fresh food prepared artistically. Service was very attentive and professional.

There were five of us in our dining party at Zumo. I have been here several times including at their old location. While we all had a very enjoyable evening, some of us had a bit of a "mixed" experience e.g. great appetizer, so/so main or vice versa . Didn't really care for the "seared tuna". Think we were expecting something more like Ahi Tuna. Mushroom soup was delicious as was the soft shell crab salad. We will definetely be back as Zumo is still one of the better restaurants in SMA.

El peor servicio que he tenido en un restaurante.
Primero vinieron 4 meseros a tomarnos la orden y cada uno decia otra cosa de el menu que se podia ordenar.
Se tardaron mas de 50 minutos en servir el primer plato y los platos posteriores casi 30 minutos en cada uno.
Necesitabas pedir cualquier cosa y ningùn mesero se acercaba a la mesa.
La comida bastante regular.
Pediomos un menu vegano y el chef mando los platillos equivocados ya q el rissoto que ofrecieron tenia queso.
Al final sirvieron un arroz blanco con unas verduras y cobraron 1000 pesos por el menu.
En fin muy mala experiencia no se los recomiendo para nada

We enjoyed the food, the presentation of the food, the service and the ambiance of Zumo. We especially liked the beet soup presented in a beet half - unique presentation and taste.

This is the first time we have reviewed a restaurant but felt the need to say something. The starter tasted fine but the bread was stale. The main course unfortunately tasted horrible - the first time we have ever not been able to eat food at a restaurant. Head chef and staff were very apologetic and nice and offered a free meal explaining there was a new chef. This was a shock considering the high end standing. Nice place but the management need to sort getting the food to match the location and price - there are several other good restaurants in the town.

We went to Zumo to watch the Super Bowl. The restaurant had 6 or 8 large screen tv's set up and a special Super Bowl menu. The restaurant went all out to make the evening a fun experience! We're definitely going back.

I wanted to book a very special restaurant for our weeks visit to SMA and Zuma did not disappoint! A beautiful modern setting with a 360 view of the city. The cocktails were imaginative. The food service was prompt but not too fast. We had the tasting menu - 6 courses plus dessert mas/minus - it was a good drink!
Each course was complex, beautifully presented and a just right proportion. Staff was helpful. All around 5 Stars.

Excellent food nicely presented, and impeccable service. Incredible rooftop views. Unfortunately, the restaurant was essentially empty, thus lowering the ambiance.
