Zizzi - Glasgow Princes Square
Food was not very good at all - tasteless and very disappointing. Bruschetta didn’t have balsamic vinegar, the tomatoes were whole and were green!
I had pasta as my main but it just had no taste.
Love princes square as there is always a lovely atmosphere. Enjoy sitting outside as it makes me feel I'm on holiday abroad, even though you are under cover in Glasgow. Food in this restaurant is good, with friendly staff and excellent service.
We ate here on Hogmanay and were delighted with the service, food and ambience. An absolute gem of a restaurant and we will be back.
Whilst service was friendly and efficient, the food which was delivered was poor making us wish the service had not been so good. Cold bruschetta and flavourless linguine made it a night to enjoy the drinks rather than savour the food.
Very disappointing visit on a Friday night in November.
Service was very poor as was the food.
Restaurant was busy - but dont think that was the issue.
We ordered our food from a set menu which offered a glass of fizz with your meal.
The waiter brought one glass of fizz - when we eventually got his attention again we asked for the other three glasses and were told that as we didn't order from the same menu it was not included.
We had to get a menu and show the waiter that we had indeed ordered from the same menu - he muttered something and eventually brought our fizz.
Not what I expected of a city center restaurant!
Will go back again it was an anniversary meal out and the service and food made it a litte bit more special we would certainly recommend it
Food was fab. Bit of a wait for food, but is made fresh so can't complain too much. Good to watch the chefs making the food
Hadn't been before and won't be back. Seated behind a hen party, horrendous to say the least. Ordered the special which came without the ingredients stated ie tomatoes and chilli, which just left pasta and mussels on it's own. No waiter in sight to send it back as he was serving far too many tables so my meal was finished and my fiance's left untouched. Toilet is disabled only and littered with paper all over the floor. Disgusting. To be fair, the waiter was very nice and apologetic and took the meal and bread off the bill but I wouldn't have expected less after such a shambles. Other tables didn't look very happy either. Definitely will not be recommending.
Sat outside on mothers day not to crowded and great value.
I have been to Inverness and Glasgow's Princess Square both are well worth a visit. Would highly recommend Zizzi's
The staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Our table was ready immediately and the service was first class. Great setting for Christmas Eve lunch! The food was delicious and we'll be back. Well done!!
Fine evening meal with the two children, they loved the three course meal for good value, calzone I had was done to perfection, service was a touch slow, but the kids were kept busy with colouring in on their menus. Great meal all round.
Great service and food that I wished would go on forever!
Food was fantastic with very quick service, the sweet i ate was amazing.
Booked a table here for the Saturday night, as I was running a half-marathon on the Sunday and thought this would be perfect for loading up on carbs! Have been to the Zizzi's in Aberdeen many times and have always thought it was amazing; but this was the other end of the spectrum completely. Our order was taken wrong; it took over an hour for a simple penne with tomato sauce dish to be made; our server didn't seem to have a clue what was going on... Disaster! Luckily we weren't in a rush, and we are not impatient people, but working in the restaurant industry myself - I was shocked at the incompetence of the waiting staff. Won't be going back there in a hurry...
This was my first visit to Zizzi Princess Square and I was not disappointed. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. The food was also really good. I would definately return.
Excellent food at pretty reasonable prices with a good selection of affordable wines. Would have gained 5* if it wasn't for the service. Staff were very friendly and polite when you got a hold of them, but it wasn't easy to get a hold of them which was disappointing since the place was pretty quiet at the time.
Zizzi-Glasgow.Beautiful location and lovely service.food excellent and very reasonable price. Also wine list excellent and well priced. Will go back there often.
Being a regular Zizzi customer normally receiving high level of service was surprised the service was so bad especially given the location. Food was also below standard. Won't revisit this branch
We had the selection for main meal which we sharred, including prawn, pizza, chicken, aurbergine and breads. The pudding was terrific we had ice cream and I had the cheescake with aremeto biscuits, best pudding for sometime. Venue good and price was great value.
Perfect ambience just before Christnas. Sitting on the terrace of the restaurant, Christmas lights and a Carol singing group from the amphitheatre below.
Excellent as always ... Great value festive meal - 3 courses and 2 drinks for £19.95
Friendly, efficient staff work at creating a wonderful atmosphere at Glasgows Zizzi
In Princes Square.
The meal at Zizzi's Glasgow was excellent and very well displayed. The only thing I would have changed was the the staff kept coming over to the table to update if we were ok every 10 minutes or so which became quite annoying!
Zizzi Glasgow provided a great night out for myself and my wife. Food ws good and service attentive but not intrusive
Zizzi, Glasgow. Insufficient staff, although when got their attention they were good. Food was average. Nice setting though.
Zizzi, Princes Square, Glasgow was our choice for a pre-concert meal on a recent visit to Glasgow. The restaurant is very prettily situated at the top of the Princes Square shopping mall. Service was excellent being very prompt and friendly. The waiter was able to assist with menu choices and the food arrived promptly. We were very pleased with the quality of both the starters and the main courses which were all delicious. The only slight criticism is that the plates were not hot.
Good value as always, and service with a smile!
Lovely food as always. The only disappointment was the chocolate fudge cake that seemed to have been a little stale or reheated for too long. Otherwisr everything else was great.
Great food and service! Recommend!
Zizzi, Princes Square, Glasgow. Great atmosphere as busy. Food not as good as Zizzi in Ocean Terminal Edinburgh, less food on my plate. Service also very slow (due to busy environment I expect). Overall had a good time caching up with old friends as not in a rush & food reasonable.
Our first visit to ZIZZI set in the elegant Princes Square Glasgow .. delicious food
and friendly efficient service created a wonderful and relaxed evening.
