Fresh ingredients, good selection of vegetarian option. Not your typical Indian restaurant. It has a good variety of options from different parts of India. Desserts had a different twist as well. Will definitely plan another visit to try things I missed the first time.
Nice place with innovative and nice tasting food. Tried cocktails, small plate items and masala chai. Me and my wife loved everything.
We had a very nice night at Zaika. The food was quite good - shared 3 small and 3 large plates with a group of 4. Drinks were interesting, especially the Mumbai Mule. Recommended to try if you are in the mood for Indian but want a more modern atmosphere/take.
We had a delicious sharable dinner for 4---go with the waiter or owners reccomendations.
Service was a bit slow but very courteous. Food was really good.
I'm really sorry but someone needs to call this out. We've just paid $83.68 for disinterested service and, quite frankly, appalling food.
Pretty unimpressed
Would not return
This place has amazing food. Everything we had was inspired and the Mumbai Mule is popular for a reason. One thing to note: everything was intensely rich, even for a vegetarian. If I could ask for anything from Zaika, it'd be a vegetarian starter or main that was as big on flavor as everything we had but did so without dairy. Mostly so we could've ordered that in addition to the rest of our food to compliment and cut through the richness.
Overall, highly suggest this place to anyone seeking upscale Indian cuisine
The food and service were great. Such wonderful flavors.
We wanted to be blown away, but unfortunately weren't. It's good, don't get me wrong. But not just what we were expecting based on photos and hype online. The menu was a bit confusing (under the stuffed bell pepper ingredients, it pretty much just said "stuffed bell pepper" again LOL), not many vegetarian options, the cocktails were probably the best part. Food took a lonnnnng time to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn't full and there seemed to be plenty of staff on the floor. Servers and manager were extremely friendly.
I made an appointment with the restaurant couple of week’s ago for my wife’s birthday. They did not personalize our experience at all, no one even cared to mention happy birthday or have our table reserved. It just felt like walking in. Would have been fine on a casual day but it did not meet my expectations. Pretty disappointed.
Go early. The food is terrific. They have large plates and small plates to share. I called it Indian tapas.
Nice restaurant concept that needs better execution. Overwhelmed maître d' didn’t keep guest seating organized when there were only 5 parties waiting; ambitious but poorly mixed drinks; good presentation but average tasting food; well intentioned but average service (shared food plates were set at the edge of the table instead of middle; check was delivered before the food was cleared) Expensive for the quality of service and food
We came here for my husband’s birthday and had a wonderful experience! We found the Indian twist in the menu especially , interesting !
