ZA ZA TA. A place where wonders never cease.
We had described the style of wine we liked to the sommelier - he brought us something that hadn't hit the menu yet....and we loved it (so ordered another bottle). The staff were all so enthusiastic and knowledgable. It's the things like this that make a night out really special. Will definitely recommend and revisit soon !
While the food served was inventive of traditional Mediterranean fare, served beautifully and tasted exceptional, there were a few little things that marred our experience. While the wait staff were attentive, it was almost to the point of having a plate taken from under one's nose, in the rush to remove used plates. And perhaps over exuberant? Service is fast and slick and descriptions of each plate was helpful and very well done. The music level was over the top so that we had to really project our voices and this marred the ambience. Otherwise it was trendy and upbeat which is probably what is being attempted. And its not usual to have menu prices without GST, so that at the end the bill is presented and is more than expected with the GST coming on above the already fairly high prices. The wine list is extensive with some special offerings that stand out and the cocktail list reads like a main menu!! I'd love to go through all the cocktails as they all sound better than each other. The desserts were among the best desserts I've ever tasted, served with pizzazz and delicious. I will definitely go back again, but curtail my ordering to ensure I am able to pay for my meal....
Brilliant and attentive service, incredible menu and a beautiful restaurant - highly recommend this place!
Vegan food was incredible
Best meal for a long time
Beautiful restaurant, really cool vibe, loved the DJ and decor the only small thing that could have made the evening better would be the music slightly lower, it was ok as we were just two people but we thought it would be hard to hear everyone chat if in a larger group. ( maybe I’m just getting too old)
Over all it was amazing! We will be back soon
Great new restaurant in the Emporium precinct. Middle Eastern creative food, great cocktails and a good selection of wines. Attentive service and a very comfortable lounge bar as well.
So delicious, it like eating in Great British Menu...the intricate flavours and each one complimenting every aspect of the dish not overpowering or overlapping by as my means. Must return.
Everything was fabulous! The food and experience has had a lot of love and time put into it and it shows.
Walk through the doors into an oasis of colour and style. Food is inventive and service is smooth and attentive. Middle eastern flavours with a modern flair.
Fantastic enthusiastic staff and service - shout out to the Spanish guy who went into detail with each plate he brought us with such passion and energy. Top waitstaff - everyone was focused on making sure you were enjoying your evening. Thanks!
I had dinner with my boyfriend and we felt completely in friends’ house! Amazing food, warm and friendly service and great atmosphere! 100% my favourite restaurant!
Loved this place
Amazing dining experience
Good was amazing loved the different flavours
Attentive staff very impressed
Delicious dishes with innovative twists on Israeli cuisine. Impeccable service. Smart casual ambience with cosy lounge areas for drinks and snacks. A flawless dining experience. Highly recommend.
Great experience at Za Za Ta! Food superb, so was the service. Will be back next time we're in Brisbane.
This place has a lot of potential but the meals were a bit hit and miss. Don’t bother with the fois grois on the hummus - it’s a tiny bit of shavings - not worth $8 and didn’t have any taste. Also beware the winter greens is more like a small side salad of rocket. The potato was amazing though. And the trout.
