Great food and great service, just a shame we couldn't of stayed longer, but we were only given a certain time window. This is our 2nd time at the Blues Bar, and the first time upstairs. Will certainly be back next time we visit Harrogate
Wouldn’t know seen as when we arrived we were informed that any booking that was made via the app after 12pm that day was invalid and we should have been informed. Obviously we were really disappointed as we then had no chance on a Saturday night getting in anywhere else. Really poor service surely the app should’ve stated they were fully booked.
Fantastic food and great value. Great service and hope to come back again soon.
A great meal at the Yorkshire Tapas. Well cooked and very tasty.
Food was absolutely delicious! Recommend to anyone! Will be returning 😊
Very friendly staff, food was beautiful, great atmosphere.
Loved the food but slightly less atmosphere as it is during these challenging times. Definitely one we will return to.
We had a fabulous, delicious meal the service was quick and very friendly. I would highly recommend the Blues bar 10 out of 10 👍
Great food and service provided the lad calle dan was above the norm.
Veey helpful amd knowledgeable with food choices, great service ixe. Food made by Matt in the kitchen was fabulous
After a lot of research we decided to book here to eat after travelling from Cumbria. When you walk into the bar downstairs you don’t really know what to expect, but after heading upstairs I was really surprised, going from a kinda loud bar to such a lovely little restaurant. Not many tables so definitely book in advanced! Food and cocktails was amazing! Everything was reasonably priced. Staff super friendly and helpful. If we hadn’t booked some where else for our second night in Harrogate we would of seen if they had a table spare for the following night. Definitely be back!
Excellent food good portion sizes for tapas and must not be missed
Amazing service! Outstanding food! Thank you!
Our food took one hour to come & was cold when it did arrive. Plus they missed some of our order & fetched it after we had finished eating.
Booked for 6.30 no tables available sent back down stairs then sent outside to wait thought very amateur got fed up so we moved on .
We were unable to eat here as we were told on arrival that there were no staff.
We had answered an email at 8.30 am to confirm we would be present for our 7.15 booking. We were astonished and disappointed. Especially since traveling so far.
Fortunately we found another place around the corner, wagamama, and they had staff and courteous service.
Great bar, good atmosphere, helpful staff, would visit again
Nice variation of food. Very tasty. Maybe slightly over priced
Took 1 hour after ordering to serve food but they were busy
Amazing, quirky restaurant. Lovely food and great staff :)
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Despite covid we managed a normal night out whilst keeping to the rules.
The menu and food was really good. And once our order was taken, it came quite quickly.
The service was, unfortunately, not as good. The staff were very polite etc,but they didn’t come to our table frequently at all,and when we ordered drinks, they either never arrived or took an age.
I would go again because the food is lovely, but they need to be more conscious of service.
Firstly the food was really good and we enjoyed all of the dishes we had. The service upstairs was also very good. The issues came with our arrival and the service offered in the blues cafe downstairs. We arrived at the correct time for our booking and were asked to wait at a table outside. The member of staff who instructed us of this was incredibly rude. We then got drinks and proceeded to sit outside for a lengthy spell before being shown to a table in the bar. Well over an hour after our reservation time we were told that they would need us to eat in the bar area, which was a small table on the path to the toilets. Its also very busy and loud in the bar and not very conducive to a pleasant meal. When we refused this offer we eventually got a table upstairs. The service upstairs was very good and the food very enjoyable. But the poor reception ruined the evening for us.
What a fantastic bar, great quirky Yorkshire tapas food that was brilliant. Obviously all cooked fresh and hit the spot, large portions were great value for money. Service second to none thanks for a great day and I have recommended the bar. Hopefully return when live music can be played.
First time visit very happy with the food and service
All the staff were friendly and very helpful food was gorgeous will definitely be returning
A selection of traditional Yorkshire food served Tapas style to suit everyone's tastes.
Absolutely brilliant place and food is something you have to go and try for yourself. Will definitely be visiting again.
Arrived on time for our booked table to be informed 15mins later that we would have to wait as the people at our reserved table were not ready to move. This went on for an hour, however Staff did provide a free drink. Eventually we sat down and was informed our food was on its way, so I ordered fresh drinks, food came 5 minutes later then drinks 25 minutes later not good, hence poor review
Fabulous food, served in a unique way.
A great experience.
Fabulous place to eat and be entertained. Really cosy dining upstairs and the service was exceptional. Our tapas was delicious with a lovely bottle of red. Great menu to choose from. The guy who was serving us informed us that it was filling up downstairs and took us down to the last table so we could spend the rest of the evening enjoying the open mic night which was a great night. A must go to when in Harrogate 😁
Booked into the restaurant only to be told that they were full up and that was that.
We really enjoyed it, our son and some friends had been and recommended it to us. Our Yorkshire pudding was burnt otherwise I’d have given the food 5 stars.
Great waiter we had and I personalise listening to the music as long as it’s not too heavy or loud. Thoughly enjoyed our evening.
Really quirky venue - good beers on tap - decent choice of tapas & good value for money - very pleasant experience - will definitely visit when in the area again.
We booked for 7.30pm but prior to our visit we were contacted to see if we could come in early as they were fully booked from 8.30pm. We arrived at 7.00pm and got a snug booth with a window view. The service was excellent and the food was to die for. It was hot and plentiful and we had four of the tapas dishes. I cannot emphasise how amazing the food was and the service. Unfortunately we were virtually kicked out as they needed the table and we kind of got rushed in getting out of the booth. Other than that, an excellent place to go and eat.
A superb find. Delightful menu at a great price. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere.
The food was excellent aspshle the Bradford curry the service was very slow one person service and forget are drinks but overall I will return
This was the best choice. A fantastic venue. Lively downstairs at the bar . But lovely and quiet in the restaurant.
The food was outstanding quality and excellent value for money. I would not hesitate to book here again.
The staff were attentive and looked after us really well. 10/10.
The first thing to mention was the almost total absence of Covid-19 precautions and this in a very busy bar/restaurant. Not a great experience to begin with and made worse by very slow service. The food, however, was excellent and extremely imaginative.
This was certainly a new event for an older couple like ourselves not familiar with the Tapas experience. I was influenced to book because of the Trip Advisor excellent reviews.
We were certainly not disappointed in any way. The waiter was helpful suggesting we order 5 items and that was ideal for us. There is a good variety on the menu for all tastes. We particularly enjoyed the belly pork and the Yorkshire Wraps.
There was a good atmosphere and cosy seating .
I was really looking forward to the food but we were very disappointed the presentation was good, and the service. We found the food rather tasteless
Great food and friendly service. Relaxed venue, great value for money.
