A lively Mediterranean inspired restaurant in Adelaide's East End. Funky tunes, wood fired eats and plenty of booze to accompany the good times!

Every thing was great, food is incredible service was good! Only disappointment was the food came all at once even though I asked for it to be spaced out. So we finished in 40mins, not the relaxing dinner I had planned.

We had a great time at Yiasou George on Saturday night - we were a large group and they had big tables and plenty of room for us. The food was excellent, we weren't charged for extra wood-oven pita, and Jack who looked after us was excellent. Loved the cocktails he recommended! The whole place felt like a party with great food, and even my fussy friends loved it. We did the $55 Pits Party which was easily adjusted for vegetarians as well. Can't wait to go back, what a gem.

Loved our lunch at Yiasou and would definitely recommend it. The vibe is very relaxed and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is very good and even though there are a few tried and true Greek dishes on the menu, most of it is new, vibrant Greek cooking. Will go again.

The first thing to beware of is that despite the name, this is not a traditional Greek restaurant. ‘Mediterranean hipster’ would be more appropriate. That said, the food was well-prepared and delicious. Wine, service and ambience were all of high quality. Our group of four enjoyed a fine night there together.

An enjoyable dining experience however would not say this is Greek cuisine and more so European /Meditarriean .

Hi Katherine, Thanks for the feedback, and you're right, Yiasou George is influenced by several different Mediterranean regions - not just Greece. I'm glad you enjoyed the experience, however I've noticed you've rated our service, ambience and value a 3 (or below). Was there anything specific you noted, or any suggestions you have for us? We'd love to continue growing and provide all customers with a fantastic experience. Feel free to contact me on 0434812023. Thanks, Jack

Food and staff are excellent. We asked to be moved off of the stools as we 8 preferred a seat with a back. We were happily accommodated, thank you staff. We found the music gradually getting louder and we 8 found we had to continually raise our voices. Approached staff and they did adjust the tempo. We had the $55 meal and found the desert a little plain - a dripping of honey over the donut would have been nice. Overall a good experience 👏👏

Hey Judy, Thanks for the feedback and good to hear you enjoyed the experience! I've noticed you rated the ambience and value a 3/5. I understand the music volume may have influenced the ambience rating, however was there anything else that contributed to this score? Similarly, do you have any specific feedback in relation to value? We'd love to hear any suggestions you may have, so we can continue to improve the experience we provide. Thanks again, Jack

We all agreed my choice of Yiasou George for my birthday meal with three friends was an excellent one. We decided to order only meze and small plates to share. The absolute stand outs were the baba ganoush and hummus and the melt in your mouth pita bread. And also the roasted quince on haloumi. The monkfish was light but needed some salt to bring it the flavour. The only disappointment were the zucchini fritters which were burnt on the outside. We’ll go back.
