The staff was very attentive and professional and tended to our needs! The food was abundant and tasty
Eaten there several time now and every meal has been a joy. The service is consistent, friendly and unobtrusive!! The meal was all deliciously memorable, with delicious calamari and trio sampler with the baba ganoush just perfect to begin. I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked. The cheese and marmalade (halloumi cheese) was a new experience, and I will always order it here: they do it perfectly. I am a new fan!
Such an amazing Falls Church gem (though it may be in an Arlington address). Then, across the street for a precious local bookstore. Cannot praise enough! & such lovely people. Michael
The calamari starter is worth a special trip. Excellent selection of Turkish wines
Yayla offers great food and great service. It has a good list of Turkish wines, with some excellent reds and whites.
Had a lovely late lunch on the deck. Excellent food as always. Had my favorites, Yayla Soup, & Manti. Our favorite server, Rona, took great care of us.
Food was amazing. Servers kept seeing me wait by the host table and didn’t come until I flag them down. Otherwise everything was great.
Great neighborhood restaurant. We dined outside. There’s plenty of patio seating and sitting in the open air on a nice day is a good experience. Food is fine. We had moussaka and several mezze. Flavors were interesting and presentation was solid. And an opportunity to try Lebanese, Turkish wines.
Great restaurant with authentic Turkish/mediterranean food!
The food was delicious and service was excellent. They also have brunch on the menu and will check it out in the near future. Will recommend to anytime who wants to have a good Mediterranean meal.
The moussaka is not what it used to be for $20. Disappointing.
Friendly service and delicious authentic Mediterranean dishes. The haloomi cheese and branzino were standouts.
Everything we ordered was delicious! The service was very quick and attentive, the ambiance is classy and welcoming, and the indoor seating was very spread out to keep with social distancing. The highlights of our meal was the halloumi cheese (very flavorful!) and the manti (the garlic yogurt gave the dish a refreshing and light feel). Great spot!
The lamb chops were delicious, as was the bronzino.
Server was very informative and gave a welcoming vibe. The food was good and portion was great. Would recommend if anyone want to try out Turkish food and looking for a quite romantic atmosphere.
The food was good but not great. The service was good but not great. I had really high expectations because of the reputation this restaurant has and it didn’t quite reach that mark. I spent 3 weeks in turkey and it’s one of the best places I’ve visited, I didn’t think the food came close to authentic food I had when I was in the country.
We love Yayla Bistro! The food and the people are perfect! It is our go to place when we want a lovely relaxing evening!
We celebrated Valentine's Day here and the place was packed. The service was very good and we left very full. Quick note that it's very loud in the main room. We enjoyed our meal and the server, Ahmed, was very helpful. One other note, though, is that it's primarily a Turkish restaurant, vs. Greek. There are some excellent Greek items on the menu, such as the moussaka, however, it's not Greek the way Nostos in Tysons is. For a Turkish place, it's 5-star.
Rating was based a Valentine’s Day dinner. Booth seating was in the bar area (even with a reservation) which was not ideal for romance. Food was great. Overall will try again and hope for a more intimate seating spot. Service was inconsistent.
Overall 4/5, very good restaurant. A few rough edges on the service/food - for example, we had multiple food runners come by our table asking if we had a particular dish, when it was meant for another table. The baklava was some of the best I've had!
This was our first time dining at Yayla and they did not disappoint! Good food, nice ambience and killer baklava! We will definitely eat returning
Overall, very good meal. First time at Yayla Bistro. The waitress did a great job directing us to the best things on the menu. The dolmas were a little sweet for my taste (I picked that one on my own ;) ). The Imam Bayildi was fantastic (waitress' recommendation). Sort of an unassuming place, but really nice.
Great food and fantastic service.
We always enjoy this place and continue to bring other friends.
It’s just terrific!
The atmosphere and employees were welcoming and friendly and helpful to our party of 4 adults.
The food was excellent, tasty, and special.
This restaurant was recommended to us, and the 4 of us will each pass on the recommendation to many!
Been there many time, but this was my first time for brunch. Delicious, and finally I was there early enough in the day to order Turkish coffee! Arrived when it opened and it was nice and quiet. However later, many families showed up with young children and the dining room became very loud.
Ran out of dolmas (grape leaves)!
Great lamb chops and Adana kabob!!! Chicken was ok:(
The food was amazing! From starter to the dessert.
Our server Zeinab was so professional and nice and we asked for her recommendations and we really enjoyed what she recommended . We really had good experience at this restaurant. Highly recommended to try if you like Mediterranean food.
Great service, food, all of the above (!) for a birthday celebration. Will come back!
All good but in particular the Falafel was perfectly prepared and cooked.
One of our favorite restaurants. Friendly service and excellent food. Totally consistent. Wonderful wine selection and great desert! The Turkish Coffee is excellent. Thank you as always. See you soon.
Wonderful food, nice outdoor seating.
Delish! (Especially love the zucchini fritters except they’re not called that!)
Never a disappointment, Yayla was a delicious delight. The mezze platter, lamb chops, branzino, salmon and manti were among the dishes we enjoyed. The staff was most attentive and the kitchen’s hard work was obvious. We’re looking forward to our next dining experience.
Dinner was awesome. Our server "Rona" was fantastic. The Turkish wine was a big hit. Loved my dessert that was made with Apricots.
Been here before. Quality stands out. Authentic.
Comfortable dining room. Good service.
It was our first time at the restaurant. Parking was very confusing but eventually got worked out. Service was OK. Our waitress forgot to bring out spread and bread. It would have been nice to have with our meal. The meal came out with in seconds after ordering. We had the Doner Kabob which was very good. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough yogurt sauce or rice/beans. They did give a ton of meat. We also had Spanikopita that was OK. They gave a nice salad with the Spanikopita. Their specialty drinks were good.
The food was delicious. The Saturday night special was excellent. I’ll be back.
Excellent food and excellent service. Definitely worth coming to again and again
Was told by a friend that it was good and we couldnt agree more! Fantastic meal from beginning to end. Friendly service - we will be back!
