    This is by far our favorite Japanese restaurant!! We’ve been going to yamaguchi for 30 years. When we moved to another state, our trips back to NY always includes a meal at Yama!!! Every dish is luscious and fresh! High quality fish and innovative dishes. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit!!

    They have special items and its surprise treasure. Food was great. Service was also attending (almost too much lol) Wish they have more shochu options.

    Best sushi in Port. The restaurant is under new ownership and the sushi is as fresh and delicious as when Mr and Mrs Yamaguchi were the owners.

    The fish was very fresh. I ordered the sushi sashimi and it was mostly salmon. I did tell the waitress no tuna but I expected a larger variety of fish. We’ll give them another try.
