Yalla Yalla Winsley St
Whether you’re coming to Yalla Yalla with a couple of friends, your family or a crowd, there’s something for everyone on the menu.
Our food is based on time-honoured recipes, passed down through generations and perfected along the way. Our little plates of tempting mezze are a great way to kick off the meal – many of them vegan and vegetarian, too. Follow with a grill, cooked over the coals until tender, and you’ll have a feast.
Make space for more and finish with a plate of crisp sweet Lebanese baklava, filled with nuts and dripping in syrup, a slice of our cheesecake or pot of creamy mouhalabia (our rich and creamy Middle Eastern pudding). If you’re popping by for a pit-stop lunch, try one of our moreish wraps served with creamy hommos and Lebanese salad.
We look forward to seeing you soon…
We were seated it took a while for anyone to come over and offer us a drink; we had to try and get someone's attention. When I ordered my food, they were kind enough to swap out the chicken shawarma with lamb shish for me, which was the only up side of the experience. The food came out very quickly which gave me the impression that it was not freshly cooked. There is not much value in the food you receive and the lamb shish was bland and chewy and chicken shawarma, which my partner ordered, was dry. Overall it seemed like the average overpriced tourist trap you get in central London. I would not return. There are much better local Lebanese style restaurants around greater London.
really tasty food and ambiance. amazing mezzes, really worth it
My favourite Lebanese place in London. Amazing food and the staff is just wonderful. Can’t recommend it enough.
Great service, food and ambiance.
The staff is very friendly, food is delicious and not expensive. Great for a family dinner, quick lunch or take some friends out.
The food was delicious and great value for money. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Nice place for a family meal. Lots of veggie options.
The food was absolutely delicious
We had made a reservation on opentable for 7:45 and didn’t get seated till 8:10. I do not understand why the app allows you to make reservations if the restaurant does not actually have the space last minute. It gives the consumer false hope that they would be seated at the time the reservation was booked for. If I had known it would take so long to be seated we would have gone elsewhere.
The chicken had no flavour, they had run out of their chicken platter, which they failed to mention at the start of the dinner.
The baba ghanouj was very good
Really liked the food and the place, maybe a tad overpriced
Nice place, quick, easy. Good wine.
Music was a little loud and to many tables within close proximity.
In the main a nice evening.
We discovered Yalla Yalla several years ago, and we still love it. Easy-going, nice place, lovely food.
Lovley food but very overpriced for the portion sizes especially the set meals . We ordered x 3 set meals but most of the dishes were serviced in small dishes that were only enough for x2 . Shame as food was so nice when we went before
Food was lovely but service was quite slow and a bit confused. Some of the party had to wait for their meals while everyone else had theirs.
Service was non existent, food was ok but abit over priced and they charge u for more bread which is tiny amount. Other restaurants don’t.
We ordered a range of starters to share and and a couple of main dishes. The food is excellent and well presented. Good falafel...moreish. Baklava probably the best I have had so far. Great service. Would certainly revisit. Thanks guys
The kitchen closed really early. They did not have spritzs !
Great tasty food, nice friendly staff. We had a lovely lunch.
Great food and friendly service. Would highly recommend.
Good food, especially the meze, but the restaurant is far too noisy for ordinary conversation. From 6.45pm on a Thursday evening, there were a lot of people shouting to be heard, as we had to as well. The restaurant badly needs some soft furnishings to dampen the sound.
We will definitely be back!!!
Great food, great service and will be visiting again!!!
Just so delicious! Perfect portions and perfect ingredients. The hummus was amazing.
This restaurant looks nice and the food is ok, but pretty average. The mezze for starters were good, but mains disappointing. Dried, over cooked meat, small portions. Flavours ok. Service was quite inattentive especially given restaurant wasn’t full. Servers were friendly when they arrived, but they could have been more on it. Prices v reasonable for this part of town.
I think for quick bite to eat it’s ok, but it’s nothing special.
Good location , loud restaurant , not super accommodating of dietary intolerances (their rice is not gf which is quite shocking) . Overall fine, but not the best Lebanese food I’ve had. Chicken shawarma was quite dry
A really great relaxed lunch before the theatre. Highly recommended
Great food and service, would highly recommend. Good location just off Oxford Street
I myself was recommended by a cook form Amsterdam and i would highly recommend aswell.
The men were very friendly. We were waiting for our daughter and they didn't bother at all.
At the end we could leave our Luggage so for at least an hour so we could do some shopping before leaving back to Amsterdam.
Its a lovely, casual, relaxed and warm ambience. Perfect for a night out with friends. We opted for a selection of mezze dishes (including Hommos, Baba Ghanuj, Halloumi with figs, Sujuk, Lamb Kibbeh, Falafel, Chicken Samboussek and Batata Harra) all of which were very tasty. We will definitely go again.
Great food and accommodating to vegans. would go again.
I have eaten at both Fitzrovia and Soho restaurants, the Soho one feels a little ‘forgotten’ in comparison to the Fitzrovia branch. Service was slow and a bit casual for my liking. Food was great, which counts for a lot, but overall a bit disappointing.
I’ve been to the original Yalla Yalla and am pleased to say that the standard of food is still amazing. I had friends visiting from South East Asia and they loved the food. Everything tasted freshly made. Shame we didn’t have room for desserts.
Great restaurant, good food! Portion sizes are very generous!
We had the feast menu, which is quite pricey per person, but let’s you try a bit of everything, I would recommend trying a different menu item, unless you haven’t eaten for a few days!! It felt like we wasted a lot of food, which we don’t enjoy, but there was no way we could eat everything!
Service was great, ambiance and decor great, really couldn’t fault it!
Best baba ghanough
Fun place always a little chaotic but lively and lovely food. Great if you are not in a hurry and want a relaxed evening out. Very reasonable priced. Fast becoming a favourite.
Found the restaurant online after searching for a birthday dinner venue, pics looked great, menu sounded pretty good. Overall reviews where good. I found the service ok, the food was very disappointed, found the food bland, there wasn’t any sauces to go with the dishes as Middle Eastern Arabic Turkish food they don’t over spice the food but have sauces to complement the dishes to give it more taste, was very disappointed even though I asked they said they didn’t have any. Definitely not returning. Customer service was ok.
We arrived 20 minutes late to the restaurant as we went to the wrong one just down the road and this was not an issue. We were seated right away and our server was extremely attentive and always getting us more drinks when needed and we were the last table in the restaurant and unlike most restaurants they just let us sit around until we were finished. Would highly recommend and look forward to taking all my friends there as the food was amazing!
Very lovely food with generous portions, attentive service, nice atmosphere. It was quite noisy in the half of the restaurant we were in - suspect because of high ceilings. I have normal hearing but struggled quite a bit to hear what was being said by my friends so if you have a hearing problem maybe ask to be seated at the end with lower ceilings.
The food was ordinary and drinks below standard. The most annoying thing was that the pitta bread was cold which is never fun.
Had an acceptable meal at Yalla Yalla over the weekend. Unfortunately two of the wines we asked for were out of stock. The food was average; two of us shared a meze while two had mains. The meze had highlights (kibbeh, livers) and some lowlights (tabbouleh), the overall impression was okay but I’m not sure I would rush back
