The food is amazing. I had the solo sailor to start - mixed shellfish and oysters. Then we had moules and frites.
The service was a bit grumpy and we were largely ignored. It’s a bit embarrassing trying to wave to attract some attention. It was Monday night.
Seafood was delicious and fresh. Service was attentive. Wine is expensive.
Good service, good food, became noisy with all the hard surfaces
Friendly, helpful staff and fantastic oysters. The £1 oyster deal from 3-6pm is a fab idea and the reason we came to the soho branch rather than the borough one :)
All good except 5 meals arrived and we waited some time for the 6th, which took the gloss off the service.
Just amazing! Cannot wait to visit it again :) oysters were great, mussels for the main too. Would recommend it to everyone who loves seafood
We arrived 1 hour early, New Years Eve, and was able to have our reserved seat in the corner, which was excellent.
George, who served us, was amazing. Great knowledge, humorous and relaxed. A breathe of fresh air to the usual encounters that I have in London restaurants. He was attentive and not pushy, or overly eager to whisk plates away while mid chew (experienced before in other establishments).
We had a seafood platter, very fresh and flavoursome. I do not drink alcohol but George did explain which wine goes well with our selection, which is great for other guests who wish to correctly pair their meal to wine.
I also ordered the squid, and fish and chips (keeping the tradition alive). Both were delicious and fresh, not overly salty and well cooked.
I will definitely return!
Lovely oysters, great food and attentive service
This was our first visit to a Wright Brothers restaurant and it was some of the best seafood we’ve ever had. The service was great too. We’ll definitely go there again.
had a good family dinner
Great oysters and service - but much prefer the ambience in the Borough branch
While the food was fine, nothing special but not great either, what really stood out was the very poor attitude of the waiting staff. Unfriendly, and acting like she’d rather be anywhere else, our waitress made us feel most unwelcome. We decided to eat our food quickly and leave to enjoy a dessert elsewhere.
Hugely overpriced for the food quality on offer, ranging from the borderline inedible to the averagely competent. Quite a few items had clearly either just come out of the fridge, just been reheated or had been sitting on the pass for too long. Service was pleasant enough but a bit scattershot. Not somewhere I’d recommend unfortunately, especially at those prices.
Toilets were in a terrible mess .
Very off putting!
we love this place!!
great people, great atmosphere
A fabulous place, excellent quality sea food, great service, cool vibes.
Second visit and I’ll be back, delicious food and great atmosphere.
Meeting friends. Excellent food and service - best fish and chips for a long time.
The food was generally good. The service was poor and staff not very attentive. The toilets were not very clean.
Every dish we ordered was great! Definitely try the sharing platter!
Very lovely restaurant with a great selection of seafood and atmosphere. However the staff was incredibly rude, they asked us about 5 times in a matter of few minutes what we wanted to order and especially one gentleman acted like he wanted us to leave asap even though we had a reservation. Me and my friend found this attitude rude and unprofessional. Otherwise, the food and atmosphere were perfect!
Disappointed that so many dishes were unavailable ie all mussels.
Felt like we were there on a Sunday and staff were exhausted kept being told reason why they did not have certain things was because they had been so busy the day before !!!
Not great when you are having a celebratory meal there
Food good. Staff friendly but disorganised and very slow to provide drinks. Placed at a table next to window looking onto Kingly Court, v. Cold due to draught coming through gaps. Would not recommend sitting there in the winter.
We were a group of 7 and it was the perfect spot for a friends get together over great food and wine! Service equally spot on!
Nice table, attentive service. Will revisit
Fish restaurant as good as there is in London, love the place!
It was my birthday and husband and I travelled from Newcastle to be with our sons who work in London. They recommended your restaurant and I have to say everything about it was great. We had s lovely family meal together and the food was delicious 😋 thanks to you and your lovely staff
My favorite cocktail - the twisted Collins had changed. The yuzo foam was too thick and too sweet. Oysters lovely and fries great. Shame the dressed crab is no longer on the menu.
A good place for 1st time experience on seafood & oysters if you had not tried them. They carried different variety of oysters from different sources which were good selection.
Service was very attentive and good all the way despite table were small and space were tight.
Overall a good experience.
The food was OK, but not value for money and the service quite slow for that standard of restaurant
My wife and I love Wright Brothers but were disappointed with the Soho branch of it. The menu was limited, unlike other ones we've been to. Although we did enjoy the afternoon there, as we were with friends, we wouldn't say that it was because of the restaurant. When we next decide to go to Wright Brothers we would choose another location.
The oysters are amazing , we had the lindesfarn and the rock oysters . Superb
It was a very nice way to spend my 24th birthday. Amazing food, lovely wine, professional service. Our waitress was very polite and helped us to choose a matching wine, and it worked really well with oysters and shellfish plate. Starters and desserts were great too, I have nothing to complain! Cozy and comfortable place, nice atmosphere, definitely will be back and recommend to friends!
Superb place for seafood lovers! Food was top notch and delicious and wine was excellent too. Service was friendly snd fast.
Wonderful grilled octopus. The dessert was amazing. Great service.
Second time coming to the Wright Brothers at Soho, this time with my family visiting from Spain and could not have been any happier with my choice of restaurant.
Everything we had was delicious (especially, the Mussels) and the staff was beyond friendly.
Tasty food. Good place to go for fish and seafood. Pleasant ambiance but would've been nice to have 1 waiter rather than several different people serving us.
This was our first visit and weren’t sure what to expect but we all thought the food and service were excellent. We all had something different and each one of us enjoyed what we had. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Can’t wait to go again.
Another excellent meal at Wright Brothers
The food was great, as was the wine
Molly looked after us really well
A very relaxed and enjoyable lunch
