Wolfgang Zwiener, a veritable icon after over four decades of loyal service at the legendary Peter Luger’s in New York, has become a legend, himself, with seven successful steakhouses across the country bearing his name. Building a solid reputation on the strength of his service and exacting standards, Zwiener hand selects all sides of beef served in his steakhouses, and chooses only USDA Prime Grade Black Angus beef for superior marbling, tenderness, flavor and texture. A ritual with an artisan’s flair, the sides of beef are dry-aged on site to perfection, and then carved to order by our own butcher into Wolfgang’s signature Porterhouse, prime New York sirloin, ribeye, filet mignon, and prime rib. The results are luxurious ----- meltingly tender and juicy steaks served sizzling hot with a perfectly caramelized crust.

I had Boyet for a waiter this particular night. He was very knowledgeable and super service minded. I would ask for him again when I return. I ordered the filet mignon and it was a great cut of meat. The Beverly Hills chop salad was also very good.

The steak quality was excellent. The tuna tartare was good. Service was very attentive, but lacked training. The biggest down side are the absurd wine prices. Wolfgang's cheapest wine from the menu sells at 80 USD. An alternative is a house wine for 55 USD (Primitivo from Puglia). The same wine sells in Europe for 5-6 EUR! The mark-up on the wine price is the reason I would neither recommend nor return. I understand that wine prices are roughly 50% more expensive in the Philippines due to transportation, taxes and climate. But there is no justification for a factor of 10.

Piano man in restaurant was good.
Oysters were tasteless. Pecan pie had bad crust.
Inattentive waiter.
Ridiculously loud music outside in the mall.

Let me start by stating that the service was very good, and the soup was fantastic. The steak, however, was over cooked, dry and generally lacking flavor. The lobster mac & cheese was the biggest disappointment of all. The lobster was old and fishy tasting. The wine and the cheesecake were both good.

Special mention to the extremely attentive and knowledgeable staff. They gave great recommendations not just on food and drink, but also on when to order your food so it doesn’t turn cold while waiting for someone! :)

Right from the get-go, the staff were nice and great. They serve you your choice of regular water or sparkling water, followed by a tray of tasty array of bread. We ordered the crab cake for our appetizer and it was delicious. Then came the main entree of filet mignon and ny sirloin. The filet was tender and juicy and was just an utter treat to my mouth. The sirloin was just on a whole other level. The meat was tender and the fat was so delicious in my first bite that I felt so pampered with that meal. Our sides were the creamy spinach which was just one of the best sides I’ve eaten, as well as Japanese rice, which was, well, rice, not much more you can ask for. The price can be pretty high though, but the food was well worth it. Overall the experience was great and the wait staff was incredible. 5 out of 5 would definitely visit again.

i made arrangements ahead for a simple bday cake for my fiance but it was never served! what a let down!
