This was our second time. Love the Burrata and the Polenta Fritters small plates. So perfectly created. The pasta is perfect, and certainly large portions. Good wine list. Ambiance needs a touch, not sure if lighting or something else. Just feel the Formica top tables don’t do the menu justice. Clean and well spaced-out. Will keep coming for the food, wines and good service. Thanks for a lovely early evening dinner!
Beautiful restaurant! Great food, and even better service. I will definitely be back!
The waiter and hostess were beyond wonderful. — First time out for any diner occasion since pandemic, and I’m glad that I picked here because of the amazing staff.
Thank you guys.
Our server, Henry was cordial and helpful in helping us choose menu items, although we didn’t see him again until the end of our meal. I’m not terribly fond of the aesthetics of the restaurant as they are spartan-like, too simple for my liking. We were able to take advantage of happy hour prices. The appetizers were delicious, asparagus with soft boiled eggs, the wolf salad and I can’t remember the other two dishes. But the donuts and cheesecake were delicious, neither too sweet.
Great Italian restaurant with good wine selections. Service was great. Love the Robert Borden potter dinnerwares. Will come back soon.
Great culinary experience
Great culinary experience
I loved it, the rigatoni was flavorful and hostess and staff was amazing.
We love Wolf. My only suggestion is that I hope going forward they will offer special of day or at least change up the menu a bit.
Exquisite low key spot great for a quick lunch or drinks with friends
Waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. Great deals during happy hour!
Wonderful lunch. Salad and pasta were perfect. Service was excellent!
We where seated timely and the service was excellent
Food was authentic, creative, and delicious!!! VERY pleasantly surprised!! Great ambience, and service and a special thank you to Eric, who was sooo very sweet, professional and accommadating!!
We dined at Wolf to celebrate Valentine's Day and a (nervous) return to indoor dining. We never eat out on Valentine's Day because it is generally the least exciting day to do so for a million reasons. But with the reopening of indoor dining, we felt like we wanted to get out and enjoy a great dinner.
From the moment the elevator opened to Wolf, we were warmly greeted by Eric, who made us feel so welcome. Immediately, our nervousness about dining indoors was put to rest. He and the staff made sure our table was sanitized and ready, and from then on, it was only about us enjoying our meal. The entire experience, from Eric's greeting to the perfect service by Eianne and Henry, was utterly perfect. I can't say enough about the food quality (the pre fixe menu was excellent), about the staff's kindness and knowledge, and about Eric checking in to make sure we were having a fantastic Valentine's Day.
In short, I think we have a new favorite NYC restaurant.
Can’t truly judge the restaurant by when we went, people afraid with coronavirus so not many diners in the restaurant. Our server was beyond attentive as we were one of the 3 tables in the entire place. Food was prepared as we requested. My salmon portion was tiny but the chicken dishes ordered were a nice size portion.
Good food. Excellent staff
The shared plates were exceptional, the pasta unimpressive and not worth it. Our waiter did an excellent job guiding us in what to order.
Wonderful waitstaff, good chef (not always successful with specials), good vibe. Horribly uncomfortable chairs, unflattering lighting. I'd go back (with seat cushion, and alone because of lighting).
It'a great place for a casual early dinner.
Not so happy that I don't get points for this reservations for some reason.
Atmosphere was nice. service was great. Food was exactly as you'd expect with some nice twists with daily specials.
Had the Beet &King Crab Salad. The plate seemed so bare ...Needs some greens with it
Biggest complaint was prices had a delicious salmon small but $38. Ridiculous bread $6. Would not return until they get realistic on prices
Fantastic customer service. Creative menu choices. Ambience is very satisfying.
This place is top notch. A hidden treasure and great way to celebrate your stylish purchases at Nordstrom’s flagship store in midtown Manhattan.
The staff was courteous and efficient, and the food was delicious. We will definitely go back.
Staff is lovely. Food is simple and delicious. Cocktails are creative and tasty.
Beautiful space, amazing service. Everything we had was delicious. Must try.
Great culinary experience
Very nice restaurant. The atmosphere, food and service was great. I went there for lunch during the week with two friends. It was not busy and they sat us at a table near the window with views of Broadway and 57th Street. We each ordered pasta. It was just the perfect place for lunch!
Great culinary experience, authentic Italian food
Reservation was honored as requested, with a friendly confirmation call from Tasha who also greeted us warmly. Our server, Diana, was was very attentive to every detail and pleasant throughout the meal. Diana and the manager, Gianni, went out of their way to accommodate various special diet requests (i.e. gluten free; vegan) by successfully adjusting preparation or improvising on ingredients. Enjoyed the open kitchen view to one side and the vibrant street views available from the window tables. A nice array of choices for salads, pasta, and seafood. Some dishes were a bit eclectic and would like to see a few mainstream options added to the menu (e.g. herb roasted chicken, steak frites, various grilled fish, etc.). Overall, however, an enjoyable dining experience in a prime location.
I have been here several times since they opened. I have yet to be disappointed.
This restaurant thinks it’s more important than it is. At the end of the day it’s a restaurant in a department store. Almost the entire restaurant is bar seating so don’t try to go with more than two people. The menu tries too hard. Who thinks putting anchovies on bruschetta is a thing? Even the bartenders joked about the Cocktail menu and told us not to order things because half of the concoctions were “gross”. They didn’t know the measurements for half of the drinks.
I also watched the bartenders taking straws and trying the drinks, then putting the same straw back in and trying again.
We had a wonderful experience here! The fried oysters and the king crab salad was outstanding! The rib eye steak entree and gnocchi were delicious! Excellent wine selection and most of all - the service was top notch! We will be back when in NYC!
But...beware this is one expensive spot! We ordered protein on our salads and for 2 people it was over $50 EACH!! And, that was only lunch.
Excellent value & food.
Waiter was hard to understand, not super thorough with explanations, and forgot one of the dishes we ordered.
This place is phenomenal! I had been dreaming about that spaghetti with uni butter and it did not disappoint- it was unique and flavorful! Everything was and their wine selection was amazing! If you like Chardonnays - get the Hook & Ladder, you will love it. We were skeptical given it’s in a Nordstrom, but it’s NY, so that didn’t seem to matter at all. Our server was knowledgeable and funny, I really can’t say enough good things!
Loved the cacio e pepe. And the donuts with chocolate sauce.
It was an amazing dinner. We are from Seattle, WA and I’d almost say that it was better then the How to Cook a Wolf on QA.
The gnocchi dish could have been really great, but a little too rich and very salty. The salmon crudo was perfect
It’s a great place, intimate and quiet, and with excellent service.
The chairs were a little stiff, not the most comfortable.
