Winter Hall at The Rechabite

Service was a bit chaotic. Plenty of staff but poor organisation. We asked for a table down stairs and were told they were all booked but it was already 30 min over the hold time. Over two hours later they were still empty. What was really terrible was they started pulling down the tables and moving them while people were still eating. What was that about. Certainly not customer focus. I had heard a lot about what a beautiful building it was but I thought the winter room hid all the beautiful old features and was like a prison with its caged levels. The food was ok . Asian in style but pretty good.
The toilets absolutely stank. They are disgusting and totally unacceptable. Less rush and more customer focus. Get rid of those stupid silver sprayed Christmas trees hanging upside down like some sad game of throne corpses.

Great - highly recommend, such a cool venue with trendy staff and atmosphere.

Awesome value, great service, yummy food and great vibe

Food was great and good value. Service was fast. Our only issue was that we were told when we arrived that we would have to vacate the table after an hour due to an event; however, our confirmation email said 2 hours and no alternate text/email was received with any updates. It was pretty disappointing to be welcomed in that way and it put a dampener on the time that we had there as we felt rushed.

I booked a table for 20 and you were unable to provide the food we paid for. The food was refunded but the failure to feed the group of 20 ruined my birthday gathering. Not impressed, won’t be back.

The staff were wonderful, the DJ was excellent and the food was delicious.

They decided not to open on the night we had booked so it was a complete and utter flop.

Great food, great service more of a young crowd though so is pretty noisy inside pretty keen to try the restaurant downstairs next time but all in all an awesome new venue for Perth 👌

Great service, atmosphere and value, but the food itself (Feed Me platter) was pretty awful, unfortunately. Only meat to put in bao buns were battered chicken wings (which had bones), and chicken wings themselves were awful. If you were expecting Double Rainbow quality food you’d be bitterly disappointed!

Great idea but poorly executed. Cocktails were small and not worth the price. Music was great but the service was poor. Drinks were brought to the table late or completely forgotten. Someone from our group would often have to find wait staff and let them know we are missing drinks. Of the wait staff we engaged, little had knowledge of the drinks or food menu – often not evening knowing what tap beer was available for the night. Food was tasty but the advice given from the wait staff resulted in a very unbalanced combination of dishes as they were not described properly (noodles were not described as cold etc.). Our bill was around the $500 and cant say it was worth it. Wont plan on returning anytime soon.

Very disappointing evening.
As a pop up Winter event we expected the hall to be decorated accordingly and the menu to themed, but no we had neither. There were some old Christmas trees at the front and nothing else. Didn't feel like a Winter themed event in the slightest. Food was delicious, but they forgot 2 of our meals and we had to wait some time. We got these for free thanks to the lovely and understanding wait staff. There was only 1 bottle of red wine available out of a list of 10, as "it's been like this for 4 days" according to staff.
And it was awful and expensive. Again the wait staff were understanding and gave us one free. Despite these disappointment the music was lovely and the venue is always delightful to visit. Having great company made the night fun regardless of these shortcomings. Let's hope they get it together for next time ! P.s order more wine !

Food was great, good ambience, service was poor, ordered a bottle on arrival, clearly forgot/lost order asked again 20 mins later before delivered, asked for water never came, table of four received three serviettes, three spoons, long periods with no one serving any tables

Staff were very friendly and wanted to assist our needs.
I liked that the staff were able to process payments at our table.
Food was very tasty.
The band was giving great vibes.
Great experience.

Dj was really bad! Needed more sing along/rnb music
