Good food but restaurant dated and strong smell of cigarette smoke.

Went to Windsor Castle to get food and drinks with friends. Menu looked great, and very reasonable. We went to order and found out that they'd ran out of half the kitchen by 7pm!!! This could be expected of dishes like beef cheek, but this included burgers and even mayonnaise! Shambles. The food that did come was mediocre at best.

Really disappointed. It’s been a few months since I have been but things have gone noticeably down hill. Food although reasonably priced was very average in quality and music far too loud. A shame . Staff were friendly but can’t escape feeling it used to be a great place to go for a pub meal but Is very tired now ...

Very nice food at a very good value. Chicken Parma, pork chops and rocket salad were all well received cozy with the fire in the fireplace.

Great casual Father's Day lunch, delicious traditional pub food and easy to have the kids there.

Great venue for a counter meal with friends on a winter's evening. Cosy fire with yum food (best mushroom burger!) and even better value. Love the quirk, staff, ambience of this little pub. Been coming here for years - glad its my local!
