Phenomenal food in the heart of Camden. Tremendous attention to details of both taste and presentation. Exciting for the mind, mouth, and the heart. Highly recommended
Really great food and lovely, friendly team. This was our second recent visit for lunch and we will be making this a regular thing
Great and unique fine dining experince. Chef was very nice and chaty. Would recommend
We went to Wildflower to celebrate our anniversary. The evening was absolutely perfect. The food was INCREDIBLE, the service was very personable and all in all it was just great.
All businesses have had to adapt due to Covid, and Wildflower is no different. The chef, bless him, welcomed us, served us and explained all dishes throughout the evening. He was outstanding and so was his food. He was friendly and just so nice to deal with - he listened to our thoughts about the menu and welcomed feedback and made sure the evening went smoothly and as planned.
We cannot wait to go back and we cannot recommend it enough! Thank you guys for such a beautiful evening!
Great hot spot in Camden. Definitely be back.
Fantastic ambience and amazing food, chef Paul was an incredible host.
Fantastic experience! Everything was great. Taster course menu for wife’s birthday. Recommend!
We had the tasting menu, standard and vegetarian. The food was amazing, service was very good. A little difficult with the current 10pm curfew, but the chef and staff were great about getting the food out without rushing us. One of the best tasting menus I've had in a long time! Will be back!
Amazing little venue. With amazing food and wine pairing. 100% recommend going.
Very friendly staff also
Food was outstanding. Service was v good. Price a bit stip but probably because of wine pearing
Incredible food and service. I have already started to recommend this place to my friends.
Tasting menu was underwhelming
Wine pairing was a quarter of a glass
Wine pairing was with 5 of the 8 courses
Lighting was too bright
No clean toilet facilities
Amazing food, we went for the set lunch. Every course was delicious. The restaurant kindly added a couple of complimentary courses for us to try. The service was outstanding as were the cocktails.
Amazing food. well informed front of house. totally on top of the Covid distancing.
loved the experience and have recommended to friends
Great food and service 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Wildflower has a lot of potential to be a great restaurant. The food was definitely flavoursome and we liked the unusual mix of flavours and use of ingredients. On this occasion, we had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and we were very surprised by how full we were at the end of the meal - we literally rolled ourselves out of the restaurant and into a cab.
Key highlights from the tasting menu were the Cornish cep mushrooms, jerusalem artichoke and autumn truffle baked custard (the flavours and texture were phenomenal), the halibut with girolles, smoked garlice and mushroom sauce (perfectly cooked halibut which melted in our mouths), and the sea buckthorn soufflé with chocolate sorbet.
Overall, the quality of the food was good but there was room for improvement as the fish starter was overcooked and the Cumbrian beef could've been a little softer.
Our waitress was fantastic and given the small premise, she was very attentive without being intrusive. She was also very knowledgeable when describing our wine matches.
There is a current trend for chefs to serve customers at the table which we appreciated. Our only feedback is that the restaurant might be able to elevate their status be (or start to be on par with other fine dining restaurants) if their chefs are better presented (instead of a stained t-shirt and apron).
The location of the restaurant is rather unusual as it's located at the end of a food court within a box park set up. Window decals might be helpful to help create a sense of separation from the rest of the food court and dimmer mood lighting in the restaurant will help to create more of an ambience.
Beautiful little hidden gem in Camden - tucked away in the new Buckstreet market. Food was amazing - fine dining dishes with incredible flavours - amazing what they can do in their tiny kitchen! Tasting menu was also incredibly good value. Would highly recommend for those wanting a more special restaurant experience in Camden.
Despite being a staff member down and Head Chef Paul having to run around more + learn the til system, he & his team (Jake & Miles) did brilliantly putting out dish after dish of excellent food in a well designed tasting menu.............yes, it wasn't as slick as normal but that's been explained. They even catered for my dietary issues where that hadn't been forwarded to them by my booking form!
Good chatting to them after aswell.
Paul did offer a glass of prosecco as an apology but I preferred a coffee to keep my alcohol units for the keep a bit down - also, Glass coffee is excellent though I was tempted to say Miles made it badly ;p
Fantastic food, I have been recommending the restaurant to everyone I know!!
Wonderful experience with food from start to finish. I had the Lobster soup, Cornish plaice n the Raspberry soufflé which was a melt in the mouth. Service was so good by Remy and I will definitely recommend .
A great option in Camden - super friendly staff in a fun part of town.
Outstanding flavours. Inventive presentation. Excellent wine choices. And great value for money. We’ll definitely be back!
wonderful food great service in an unusual location - great value for superb food
It was a delightful first time at Wildflower. A well balanced set menu. Everything was flavoursome. Stand out was the raspberry soufflé. That said the beef (perfectly cooked), sea bream and lobster soup weren’t bad either! Two well priced menus. Charming staff and a talented chef. We’ll be back!
Food and service are great. It is the only fine dining in Camden.
I recommend that if you want intimacy you sit with your back to the door. With the door open you tend to get the noise from the little mall and the distraction of diners in other eateries.
However the location lends itself to those who enjoy people watching in trendy Camden. Finally on a warm London day, sit beat the fan. Enjoy
Overall we really enjoyed our meal at Wildflower. We were impressed that they would allow us to have both the regular and also vegan tasting menu. Service was excellent. We didn’t seem to get the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ deal and also Instagram advertises 30% off during August. Unless this is already applied I do not think we got this.
This bijou restaurant in a very buzzy part of Camden Town provided an oasis of calm with an absolutely fabulous tasting menu which was full of delightful surprises served by passionate and knowledgeable staff
Unbelievable good food, great friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Great meal, excellent cooking and quirky surroundings. Service was v friendly but professional and very relaxed atmosphere. We went for my husband’s birthday and had the lunch menu, each dish was delicious but particularly enjoyed the minestrone and the soufflé. Enjoyed chatting to Adrian about his plans for the restaurant and wish him and the team the very best of luck, deserves to do well.
The tasting menu was amazing. Adrian was so welcoming and even served us himself explaining each dish as it was served. Very fresh, tasty and well-thought menu. Go here!
Adrian the owner was warm and friendly and introduced himself and told us all about the food and how he started Wildflower. The food and the flavours were inspirational and didn't disappoint, from the deliciously sweet oysters to the rich, buttery pigeon, interspersed with the freshest lightest tomato minestrone broth. We finished off with the mind blowingly decadent, burnt caramel tart that we have ever had!
You have to go .....soon
Very very disappointed.
Cannot see the way it is being run currently that this will last 12 months.
Awful awful service.
If this is the new fine dining then count me out.
Absolutely wonderful experience. By far the best restaurant I’ve been to in Camden. We had the tasting menu with matching wines and each course was just as good as the next. Every plate was an explosion of flavour. Will be back again for sure for next seasons menu.
Hi Karl Thanks very much for your review, glad you enjoyed everything. Look forward to welcoming you back really soon. Kind Regards Adrian
Has to be the best food in Camden by a long shot. Amazing quality, innovative but still somehow comforting and every detail considered.
Hi Beth Thanks very much for your kind review, we look forward to welcoming you back really soon. Kind Regards Adrian
It was beautiful restaurant - very homely and elegantly decorated. The staff were incredible and the food great - in particular the fish adn the chicken spring roll. Could have done with a little longer between each course but otherwise it was lovely.
Fantastic restaurant - interesting location. Delicious food. Highly recommended.
Even at 50% off (soft launch) which came to £20 per head for lunch, this was a rip-off. Very small portions, and left hungry. Food nicely presented but under-seasoned. Generally, everything just felt mean - even the bread was presented as one tiny, thin half slice each. The menu on the website is not even slightly representative of the actual menu (of which there is no choice at all, even at lunchtime, when the tasting menu is not served). Tiny dining room with a strangely retro decor - comfortable, but seems an odd fit for the area. No washroom on site. Would be surprised if this is still going in 6 months' time.
Not sure what I was expecting in a container vessel, but the restaurant is beautifully fit out and looks like a well put together high end dining spot.
There is a warm welcome on arrival and the tasting menu is both imaginative and varied, my favourites being the scallop dish and the turbot.
I only knocked off one star, due to the restroom facilities being held separately within the complex.
Would recommend Wildflower and will return.
I was excited with Wildflower restaurant and very happy to be able to taste it during its soft opening week. It was serving only a tasting menu option priced £60.
It started with 2 snacks (a bit tiny and underwhelming in my opinion),followed by A Jerusalem Artichoke Velouté , with croutons and crispy bacon (again, felt a bit poor on the plate). A beautiful, plump and nicely cooked scallop, really delicious continued. The meat course was short rib of beef, tender and succulent, but again on the small size and the fish (and last savoury) course was a small very tasty piece of wild Turbot, tiny bit over cooked for my liking, with a crispy stuffed courgette flower (that it was bigger than the Turbot).
A refreshing Passion fruit and yogurt pre-dessert was the opening act for a polenta cake, that was moist and sweet.
A nice chocolate truffle was closing dinner as petit fours.
Service was attentive , still small details to be ironed, and the room cosy, nice paintings and lighting with a thick carpet that should help to reduce ambient noise, and maybe does, but we had a loud couple next to us.
In general we did enjoy our dinner, specially as it was softened with a 50% week opening discount. It felt rightly priced then, not sure if I would be saying the same should I had to pay full price. In my opinion it is a case of increasing the food portion or reducing the cost of the menu.... If either is adjusted, I will be coming back.
A lot of fun at Wildflower despite it being only their third service and still finding their feet. Everyone was smiling as they served and the food was very good, on the way to being great. I’m very eager to go back when they’re fully ‘open’. Meat or Vegan tasting menus available.
