Wild Ginger has moved to a new location in Bellevue-the food is excellent, the menu offers a range of choices (though not so many as to be confusing or make you question whether they can do a good job on that many different entrees) at good prices. The service is excellent-we had a very personable server who was attentive without 'hovering'. The same was true of the other staff members we interacted with. The decor is appealing and offers privacy. My only point is that the entry is on the street, which is fine-but if you park in the garage, finding the entrance isn't intuitive-simply know you need to walk up to the street to find the entrance.
Food was too salty. Had the salmon.
Good food and pleasant surroundings
Overpriced and food was just OK. Disappointed as we have been a patron of Wild Ginger for over a decade at the old location.
Got a take out and was very disappointed with the quality of the food. The duck was tough, hard to chew and in general pretty bad, we threw away 3/4 of it( $31.00). The dumpling soup was just terrible, the worst I ever had- the broth was a tasteless water and a few , shapeless dumplings in it with no flavor and weird consistency. The spring rolls soaked through with oil. The only dish was fine is fried rice with chicken.
Staff was nice.
Our waiter was busy with a lot of tables so the manager came over to take our order rather than make us wait. Really nice. Waiter was good and had a good sense of humor. All the flavors were delicious. We will definitely go back soon.
Uninspiring with little flavor. Pot stickers were tough and just lumps of meat.
Food was great, service was excellent. Only thing to complain about was the noise level.
We've been to the Seattle location, but this was our first visit to the Bellevue location. We started with potstickers, which were very heavy. Flavor was good, but the filling was heavy, as was the dough. Spring rolls were ok. Seven flavor beef was good, We also ordered seafood noodles and fried rice. all of which were good, but not outstanding. They were out of the mango sorbet, so we opted for blackberry sorbet and coconut gelato. Unfortunately, the vanilla cheesecake was horrible. It had a waxy texture to it an absolutely no flavor. It was sent back. Our server was very nice and efficient. Drinks and food were all brought out in a timely manner. Won't go back, but will try the one in Seattle again. Hopefully it's still good.
Pad Thai was a bit dry.
My father likes food here so I did an early Father’s Day lunch rather than rushing out tmrw. Food was great, as we ordered 3 entree : seabass wrap, eggplant & tofu, pad Thai. and 2 sides: egg rolls & tofu salad. We got tea as well bill was only $100 & I tipped $20 in cash. Cleanest se Asian food.
The food left much to be desired. Service was very rushed and inattentive. Went elsewhere for dessert.
The food was ok, but not fantastic. We had a hard time tracking down our server to request anything. We ended up asking another server for our bill since we’d been waiting for it for quite some time.
LOVE EARLS! Fresh food and great cocktails!
Best place for casual meets!
The food was amazing. A perfect place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary
We were seated in the waiting area of the restaurant even though we had a reservation. The 2 hostesses looked at us like we were crazy when we asked for another table! The presentation of the food was great but some dishes were not warm and small portions for the price. I would not go back.
Met here with some long time friends for dinner. Service was great and the atmosphere very suitable for sharing food and conversation.
The food was very good. However, we have visited Wild Ginger several years ago and the menu was much more extensive. We found the choices limiting.
Consistently good food
Food was perfect, as always. The bathrooms, however, were disgusting and filthy. We were there early in the evening and were very puzzled by the state of the restrooms.
This review is long overdue. I dined at Wild Ginger end of May when I travelled to Bellevue.
This upscale Asian restaurant is well located in downtown Bellevue. The food and ambience of the restaurant are both very good. What was exceptional was the service we received from Paul - the Manager and/or Sommelier? Before we ordered food we ordered a bottle of Columbia Valley Chardonnay as we wanted to try a local wine. After our wine was poured, we commented it was a little on the light side when we did the tasting. Paul then brought a sample of Alexander Valley Chardonnay for us to try and explained how the Washington/ California climate difference resulted in different wine qualities. When we told Paul we liked the Alexander Valley one better, he offered to take back the Columbia Valley one so we could enjoy a wine we liked instead. Paul indeed went out of his way to make customers happy.
When the Kai Lan dish we ordered was not available, we ordered Chinese cabbage instead. After all the dishes including the cabbage arrived, Paul surprised us with a complimentary dish of Kai Lan he managed to get from the kitchen! That made our day!
The service we received from Paul was just extraordinary. We will definitely come back next time we visit Bellevue!
We were staying at the Hyatt Regency for a conference and were looking for a nice dining option within walking distance that offers vegan options. Both of my dining companions raved about the vegan curry, and my sea bass was delightful (although next time I would order rice as a side; the portion was small, and I'm not a big eater). Our server was super attentive without hovering, and we all agreed we will definitely be back.
The wait staff was fabulous. Our server (sorry I forgot her name) was extremely helpful and very pleasant. She was very instrumental in helping us decide on the perfect number of dishes to order.
Great food! Great service!
Wild Ginger has long been one of my favorites -- and that remains true at this new Bellevue location. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, some place where you can dine and talk.
We were at the Seattle Wild Ginger 14 years ago, and it was amazing. Wild Ginger was at the top of our list for this visit all theses years later, and happy to report the Bellevue location is just as amazing. The food was fabulous! Can’t wait to visit again soon!
Celebrating a Birthday
Nice but not great
Food good but a bit bland and uninspired
Great service and place! The food tasted great but you didn’t get as much food as you thought when you buy a $25 meal
It was lovely. Wait staff were very attentive and it was my daughter’s birthday. They made her feel special
Great food, great staff. Aubrey our server was awesome!
Server (Nathan) was great and had excellent advice.
Nice place, good service. Some appetizers and main courses are a bit sweeter then I like.
The food was good, but the service was extremely poor. Had to wait a very long time to even get our water and place our order. Then it took a long time to get our check when we were ready to leave. Very disappointed!

I brought my family in for Mother’s Day so I wasn’t surprised at the early dinner crowd. I was however underwhelmed by the food and service. Not worth the price point. Might try happy hour but likely wouldn’t try dinner again.
Mothers day so expected slower service, but some of the food was not really warm. We sent back one item. The biggest problem is the HVAC/fan noise. System needs to be better insulated.
We had a hard time hearing each other, and will be a reason for me not to go back before that is fixed.
Went to Wild Ginger in Seattle two days prior and everything was great.
Front desk person (tall girl) needs some retraining about dealing with customers, especially frequent ones.
Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious. Thats why we keep coming back!
Food plentiful and delicious--exploding with flavor, prompting you to savor every bite!
The service was top notch. Very friendly, accommodating and genuine. The food and drinks were just the icing on the cake. Yum! Great experience all the way around! We highly recommend this place!
