Food and Service Outstanding. We were outside so atmosphere was less than ideal.

Always consistently good. Perhaps a bit more variety in the future would be nice but understand the issues now.

First time we have eaten inside since the covid restrictions. We disappointed with the maintenance on the interior, ie. stained upholstery, beat up tables, etc.

The service was slow and the food was not up to par with past experiences at this location.

It will be a while before we go back.

Excellent choice if you happen to be in the Haverford area. We visited the colleges around the place and had lunch at the White Dog Cafe. Excellent food, nice decoration.

We eat here frequently as it is close to our homes and has lovely outdoor eating space. Food is usually quite good but not much to rave about. Prices s bit high It was crowded our recent visit and service was a bit spotty

Great care in cleaning. As always a great experience even given the current situation.

Food and service was great. Loved the outside seating. Biggest problem was they only had 1 person bathroom for the whole restaurant on Easter Sunday. One of the bathrooms was out of order. The 1 working bathroom was also not clean.

We had a really disappointing dining experience today for Easter Sunday. We arrived on time and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. When we were finally sitting, it took 20 minutes to even get a drink. Apparently they had the the bartender making all the drinks and serving all the tables in the bar area on his own on Easter Sunday. When we asked the manager about it, he said they had 600 reservations that day and were doing the best they could. It sounded like a terrible excuse for extremely poor planning on a holiday. We weren’t even told the specials when we sat down.

Aside from the poor service, we were seated in the bar area next to the bathroom. Not ideal, but we were hungry so we didn’t care at first. However, there was apparently an issue with the bathroom and there was a line of people waiting and basically standing on top of our table the entire meal. I honestly felt like I was dining at a Chuck-E Cheese. The worst part is, aside from the terrible service and the bathroom situation, no one even came up to us to acknowledge what was going on or to apologize. If I’m paying you $18 for a waffle, I expect better service. Otherwise, I would go to iHop. We were disappointed because we typically have great experiences here and this was just awful. Not sure if we will be going back.

I was put out when we were offered water and dog treats for our puppy and never got the dog treats after numerous requests. Not sure why they would be offered and then never given. You start to feel as though your business is not welcomed when something like this happens. I will think twice before going to White Dog/Haverford in the future.

My favorite brunch spot in the whole world

We enjoyed our visit to the White Dog. The decor was bright and fun and the staff very attentive. Our food was delicious as well and they accommodated all our requests. We will definitely be dining there again!

Food was good. Took a long time to get seated and initial service but it was ok after that. Seated between two tables with small children who were incredibly loud.

Service was very slow. Sadly, there’s not enough staff for the tables that were filled. Our food came out slow and the fries were soggy and old. When we ordered our second glass of wine, the waiter put down the check and didn’t offer us dessert or ask if we wanted anything else. It’s a shame that the service and the food is so lack luster. Maybe it was an off day.

Our dinner and time with our son were superb as was our server , Andrew! He made fantastic suggestions from apps to dessert! Thank you Andrew! We’ll be back!

Excellent food uniquely presented in a heated tent in the parking lot. The "New Normal"?

Fries were burned, when we told the waitress she acknowledge that but did not offer to compensate for it.

Party of 10, Kyra was very good waitress. Dinner was good, menu choices were somewhat limited but food was excellent

Been going to the Whitedog...On Penn's campus since 1986. We go the Haverford location and had another great experience. It is out favorite!

I was quite disappointed with our experience at the white dog. We had a group of 8. Made a reservation for 1 on Sat and had to wait a 1/2 hour before we were seated. Once seated, it took at least an. hour to get our food. It was horrendously noisy under the tent and by the time the food came we were all starving. Unfortunately the food was not worth the wait, the poor service or the horrendous noise in the tent.

A little noisy but it was outside so little can be done to prevent that.

The White Dog in Haverford is my favorite place to go in this area. Nobody else measures up. I love their food and their service. Their service always goes above and beyond.

Great indoor dining. Hamburgers were terrific, and then of course truffle fries are the best!

A perfect place for a special mid-week lunch with a friend. Friendly, responsive staff, relaxed vibe. Food wise, the tushroom soup perfectly seasoned, a fine segue to the robust romaine salad. The cheesecake was surprisingly light and a delightful final flourish.

Food very basic and not exciting. Everything was cooked fine, just bland flavor wise. I’m guessing salt and pepper which usually are on tables weren’t there because of covid but I could have really used some since many of the dishes had very little flavor.
