Ernest Hemingway once named a blank piece of paper "The White Bull." Welcome to our blank canvas.
Perhaps we had way too high expectations, the food was really disappointing. To die for bread and butter was just ciabatta with rosemary and lots of sea salt that made it too salty, and so was the pasta dish that was supposes to be unique, but it was just gooey pasta with lots of seasalt and olive oil. Not really flavor/tasty driven dishes, but more of texture driven kitchen, which was bit daunting as i can have same experience over $1 bread, and $10 noodle dishes from asian restaurant.
Excellent. Did a great job of social distancing the tables. 👍🏼
This was our 2nd time dining at White Bull and it was absolutely an incredible experience! We enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu with the wine pairing. The food, the service, the ambiance were all perfect! We can’t wait to go back!
Always a treat! Everything was so delicious. Thank you White Bull and all your awesome staff. We'll be back as soon as we can!
AMAZING! The food was amazing and I wish there was a place in Florida!
Great food selection and options on the menu, terrific wine and beer list. Highly recommend!
This is an easy walking distance from the Hampton Inn (where we stayed). The wait staf was wonderful. We had the "pasta flight" which was a choice of three pastas for three people, and the serving between each tasting was perfectly timed. I will definitely go back to this adorable restaurant!
Father’s Day celebration.
George was great as usual! Food was amazing.
Great as always. New menu which is virtually 100% pasta based dishes is still strong. The mussels with arrabiatta sauce and cavatelli was one of the best meals I have ever tasted. A few more mussels would have been nice but the flavor was outstanding. My wife’s occhi with sheep’s milk ricotta and lemon was also excellent. Overall an excellent dining experience.
Always delicious food. Always a wonderful experience!
They changed their manu without notice. Nothing left!!
White Bull had great service in theory, but our waiter did not actually come to our table until over an hour into our meal. A gentleman who stated he was not the server would help her, but this turned into practically doing everything except for bringing out our two rounds of drinks.
Our bread appetizer came prior to our drinks that we ordered within the first 5 mins. of getting there. We waited over 30 mins for the drinks, but our entrees did come out very quickly.
My wife and I received a gift certificate for White Bull so this was our first visit. The restaurant had just recently reopened for dine-in service as CV19 concerns subsided. They had a limited menu, but there was plenty of items to choose from.
We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers and main dishes (pastas). The chef came out to check on us a few times and our waitress was very attentive. The interior atmosphere was nice and the restaurant has several tables outdoors as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal/dining experience and look forward to returning.
Refreshing change from the normal menu offerings at restaurants. The chef creates dishes you won't find at most restaurants. And they're all made with fresh, local, ingredients. Even their cocktails are made with imagination and flair.
Service is impeccable with attention to every detail.
It is pricey. Seating could be more comfortale.
Solid meal. Solid Staff. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time.
Love this spot! Gracious service, innovative, and consistently delicious.
Celebrating White Bull reopening!
My fav restaurant in Atlanta
We visited during an unprecedented time yesterday....my partner, me, a server, and one other customer. Kevin was so helpful and patient while explaining the menu. The menu changes every day. They mill their own flour in house. I ordered the ricotta toast; it tasted like a party in my mouth... absolutely loved it! For my entree, I had the pork schnitzel with yogurt, greens, and other veggies to put on top. It was like nothing I've ever tasted and oh so good! During this pandemic, they are offering takeout with delivery in their area. Also, if you come in to pick up your order, they will give you a free glass of wine while you wait. I'll definitely be back!
First of all, my spouse and I will return soon! Being somewhat new to the area, we stumbled upon White Bull. It is an excellent find! Positives: the food. The unique flavors are off the chart delicious! The staff during our visit was nice and accommodating. Although it was a Saturday night, the energy in the restaurant seemed unusually high. A lot of the diners were “smartly dressed.” We hate looking like the only diners in a restaurant who made an effort to look nice.
The negatives: some of the first plate items are a bit overpriced. We both ordered the pumpkin soup. I cannot begin to describe how tasty it was. Just delicious! However, for $11, we were expecting more than a quarter cup amount. Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit. It was around a half of a cup amount. To be fair, maybe the unique and expensive? ingredients dictate serving smaller portions. If so, I’ll pay the $11 again. Other negative is the high noise level.
Very knowledgeable server and friendly staff. Amazing pastas and apps. Little too much heat (peppers) for some pasta dishes, more than expected. Otherwise great time.
When we arrived I was disappointed in the brunch menu. The chef accommodated and made some options from the main menu.
Wow, just wow.
I started off with a last second schedule change so I asked to move my reservation back 15 minutes (obviously won't always be possible) but on this night they were so accommodating and welcoming! So before even walking in, I was blown away by the customer service.
Our waitress Brooke was honestly the absolute bomb and offered amazing advice and explanations of the menu as well as friendly and expedient service. I don't remember even once wondering where she was with food, water refills, or drinks. The whole experience was amazing.
Also the food was just down right amazing. The spoon bread was unique and absolutely delicious as was the pasta. The drinks were absolutely out of this world. Honestly, the only thing that was less than truly outstanding was the Ganache. It was still very good, but when the bar is set at an 11/10 and then the dessert is just an 8/10, it's somewhat underwhelming.
Definitely will be back!!!
The food and the service was outstanding!
We had the Polenta Party this evening and everything was outstanding. We’ve always had delicious food & great service every time we’ve been. Tonight was the first time for the Polenta Party. Phenomenal. Suggest White Bull for any occasion.
BEST pasta I've ever had :)
the Chicken was beyond heavenly.
The host was phenomenal and attentive. Our waitress Yasmin was also great. They both definitely made our Sunday brunch great.
Amazing! Great cocktails. Flavio was an amazing server. Food was to die for
The menu is confusing - unless you’re fluent in Italian, but the servers are great and will walk you through the selections. Food was fantastic.
Lovely Valentines dinner menu. Servers were very attentive and we never waiting for anything. Would definitely make this a “Date Night” spot
Wildly expensive for a mediocre experience. Server was great, the expeditor(?) confused tables and dishes a few times. The food made us laugh. Presentation seemed very dated, extremely silly, and compensating for sloppy food.
Pre-Valentine’s dinner to avoid the holiday madness and this was a great choice.
The White Bull never disappoints. The food is always interesting and well prepared. It is different every time we go and there is always something new to enjoy. The service is excellent. The knowledge of wine by the bartenders is great. We had invited friends who had never been and they were very pleased. Kevin Worthington, the manager, is a great guy and always spends time chatting with us and making us feel welcome.
It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other or the servers.
Enjoyed the pastas! The chicken was just okay.
All great. Their credit card system was down and they still made a lovely evening for us.
Small menu. The food is a tad bit overpriced for the quality.
I would definitely go back to White Bull, the only reason it was given 4 stars was because there was no salad/green appetizer available. The chef said they had no greens to even improvise off the menu. That was disappointing. I ordered the black spaghetti with shrimp/jalapeno and asked them to hold the chorizo. The dish came with the chorizo and the staff/manager was hugely apologetic and took it off the bill, but I have to say it was the best thing I have eaten in a long time. The staff was wonderful and we brought a birthday cake that they put the candles in and cut and served the cake which was greatly appreciated.
