Webb's Captain's Table
Our main dining rooms provide a comfortable atmosphere appointed with rich wood paneling and solid oak booths. Both the main dining room and the Lookout room offer beautiful views of Lake Chautauqua. The main dining room boasts a cozy wood-burning fireplace - the only one in the area. Our menu features fresh seafood, steak, chicken, veal and vegetarian selections. Our weekly menu insert features our chef’s selection of appetizer, salad and entrée, as well as a wine selection accompanied with daily specials.
The Deck at Webb’s is a second story open air, 60-seat deck with a gorgeous view of Chautauqua Lake. Join us for lunch or dinner and relax with a cool drink from the Deck’s full service bar. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
We had a lovely dinner in front of the fire. Good food at a very fair price.
We celebrated my daughter's 44th birthday here. Our entree's were prime rib, sea bass, and a seafood pasta. All were EXCELLENT. Our meals came quickly. Although the restaurant was crowded, and there was a table of 10 or 12 next to our table of 3, it still wasn't loud. Everyone in the restaurant was enjoying their experience with the ones at their tables. Our server, Angel, was over the top! Well trained, superb communication skills and the best customer service I can remember receiving at a restaurant. We all shared Creme Brulee for dessert.... Thank you, Webb's, for making this a birthday to remember for all of us!
The atmosphere was very relaxing and calm. The warm fire added to the ambience. Our dinner tasted delicious.
We had a wonderful meal at Webb's Captain's Table. The food was excellent! The atmosphere & service was great as well!
Absolutely disappointing. Back in the day Webb’s was most likely a great place. Below mediocre food and at $30 expected much better. Had salmon encrusted with horseradish which was edible. I ordered two sides a grilled asparagus that was cold and green beans that came from a can. Unbelievable I was embarrassed as we had friends joining us from Canada. Avoid this restaurant.
Been coming to Webb's for almost 12 years and always found it to be an excellent choice...... Last night for the first time we went up to the deck and we're pleasantly surprised and love the menu which was quite different from what serve downstairs. The restaurant has become a bit pricey for this area.
We return every year from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for our wedding anniversary. Our reception was at Webb’s and it holds a special place in our hearts and memories. This year we enjoyed every minute, especially the free horse drawn carriage ride by the lake. Our dinner was as delicious as always and the ambience as wonderful as we remembered but, sadly, the service was not as stellar as usual. Our greeting and hostess was lovely and quick to seat us, our water glasses always filled, almost after the first sip. Our waitress however was the only on not rushing around the restaurant, we had to ask for just about everything including our dinner rolls and wine and beer refills. Our wait was longer than usual for everything and the other waitresses were clearing tables and bringing everything to a tray right next to us which was noisy and a little annoying. We loved every bite and every minute in spite of everything we weren’t expecting and hoping that next year we’ll get seated in another location with a a waitress that’s a little more experience. Thank you for helping us celebrate once again Webb’s!
Love the upper outdoor patio. Always great food & nice view.
I decided to get a filet mignon medium-well wish I did still think I would have a little bit of pink in it. Now I know that I would order it medium instead.
We came up from PA to celebrate a delightful 39th wedding anniversary and recent retirement! We wanted to spend the day in NY! The food was wonderful and we loved everything! Plan to be back soon! Thank you to our server she was fantastic and brought out a surprise anniversary dessert! We enjoyed every bite and the atmosphere. Thank you!
Great dining experience as usual. Jen & her trainee Amy provided excellent service.
You need to update the menu on your site. The prices were less on your site, and the actual menu was way different, with much less of a selection in the restaurant. We were unpleasantly surprised when we looked at the actual menu and saw the differences.
I got the Chicken Mediterranean which was much too much overly salty.
Husband got Chicken Parm which he stated was good and a good size.
The place is great. Here is a bunch of filler to get me to 50 characters
Beautiful restaurant with an even more beautiful view-everyone enjoyed their food-drinks/cocktails a little weak-would definitely go back
We had the prime rib for dinner and it was tender. Wonderful atmosphere. Very enjoyable.
This is a nice quiet restaurant with fast service and good food. The dinners that we ordered were prepared well and very tasty. This is a nice restaurant and you do pay for the service. But overall, I thought it was well worth the price.
Excellent waitress. Food quality excellent. Presentation very good. Would recommend without hesitation.
Nice evening out in the deck upstairs... very relaxed
Bruschetta appetizer was passable. Strangely my soup starter arrived with my entree. When I commented on that, waitress said she was sorry the soup arrived at an "inconvenient" time (not sure why she didn't just acknowledge that she had forgotten it). My filet arrived well done, even though I ordered it medium. Waitress took appetizer and soup off bill, which was nice. But the service experience was a cluster.
Great food and service. Restaurant was clean and classic.
Food was delicious and perfect. Prime rib for me and a seafood mix for my wife. Not cheap but priced appropriately for the food quality. Great waitress as well. Not a single complaint.
Once we were seated, it took over 10 minutes for waitress to arrive at the table. We were in no hurry, so that was okay. My husband and I loved our drink orders, but our guest wasn't happy with her lemon drop drink. She ordered the 8 oz. prime rib special (medium well) and it arrived pink in the middle. My husband and I split a 12 oz. prime rib and it was to be medium rare. It was not medium rare, and was tough. The texture looked nothing like our guest's prime rib). The baked potatoes with toppings were nice. Chocolate bombe, as recommended by waitress was delicious. Very expensive for the quality of the prime rib. Would try other restaurants in the area next time.
Enjoyed our stay at hotel as well as dinner. Would come again.
We both ordered the prim rib special. Meat could have been more tender...actually rather "stringy". Baked potatoes were only partially done and rather on the "cool side". On the other side, the asparagus was done just the way we like it and the desert was wonderful.
We found the atmosphere to be very nice portioning was very good and drinks were well made. My sole complaint was that I went to try their Pike which they were completely out of. I thought that a bit odd as they are billed as having great Seafood. My recovery dish was a steak which was flavorful, a good size and quite tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurants to others, I will have to go back and hopefully have the pike another day.
very disappointed in the food. 1/2 order was 17.99 which I do not consider that cheap for a half order. Both chicken dishes were way over ccoked and very dry. The cheese was so over cooked you couldn't even cut it or eat it. The only thing that was good was the green beans and the rolls. Had to stop for ice cream to get something good to eat.
New chef is getting better!!
Slow service.Food cold.Prices to high.I don't mind paying more for a good meal but if i get a bad one i don't complain i just never go back to that place.
Sorry that's how i feel.
Given the seasonality - the restaurant had less than 5 tables in use.
Appetizers - coconut shrimp was over coked. The entries were superb - pan fried wall-eyed.
Great daily special
Service and dinners were far above average. Server was very personable.
We are definitely coming back!
View of the lake was great but the service was terrible. First they were out of the bottle of wine we chose, that fine we ended up getting less then the full bottle. Waitress was miserable with a dirty look on her face the whole time, didn’t know the specials or the menu, had to keep asking the manager. Our food was okay, potatoes were ice cold and they heated them up in the microwave instead of getting g fresh ones. For a place that advertises “fine dining” and cost almost 100 dollars was quite a disappointment.
After seeing other positive reviews we were looking forward to dining at Webb's. While the lakeside ambiance and water views are nice, those are about the only things this restaurant has going for it. We had reservations for a Sunday evening and were seated promptly. However, our entrees were slow to arrive despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Both my husband's seafood julienne and my pan-fried walleye were cold. The food tasted as if it has been sitting out for awhile before it came to the table. Prices were high considering the overall quality of the food, service, and presentation. With the other options in the area we wouldn't eat here again.
Delicious food in a beautiful setting.
The option of 1/2 portions is wonderful.
Veal.dishes were fantastic -- tender and flavorful.
Atmosphere and kindness of everyone was wonderful. Food was so good. We had filet mignon and stuffed baked potatoes. Will definitely eat here on our next visit in August!
Ate on upstairs balcony, very airy ,beautiful view of the lake, food very good,,generous portion, good prices. Enjoyed
My meal was on point, lots of flavor and generally pretty. My husband had a salad, which was ok.. I wouldn’t spend 21$ on one in the future, it wasn’t anything special. My daughter had a hamburger, which was greasy and looked as though it was a frozen patty..
We enjoyed our 26th Anniversary dinner! We even got free dessert!
While everything is consistently wonderful, we travel a lot and believe Webb’s house salad (with fresh peas and great dressings) is the best we have ANYWHERE.
Fantastic food, friendly service and beautiful views.
