We had a delightful table near the window with a glorious view. The food was perfect. Calamari is difficult to cook but it was done to perfection. The sevice was very good.

Not much good on the menu at all... ended up ordering a chicken focaccia which was served up cold ? Found the whole place a bit bizarre... used to be quite classy.

The food, location and service at Waves were all great. To be a bit critical, I would argue that most people come to sit with a nice outlook over the water. I would argue that the windows should be cleaned on a daily basis, whereas they were pretty dirty.

View, service and value was great. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal but unfortunately I was disappointed with mine as I did not realise that the foccacia would not be toasted and chicken felt like it had just come out of a cold fridge. There was also no prosciutto included as advertised and tasty cheese was just a manufactured cheese slice

We have been to waves many times and we come for the amazing menu of food- which has disappointingly changed. None of the ‘normal’ modern Australian food such as chicken Parma or traditional bruschetta is on there.

Only gave a lower review because or table was directly beside the door so constant people traffic: relatively minor in the overall experience and it had a terrific view.

Standout was the calamari starter, the spice dusting was a delicious flavour in combination with the chilli dressing- truly divine. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the mussel starter too- tender tasty and an abundance of sauce: two additonal small pieces of toast would be welcome.

Generous fish and chips portion: I’d order a half size of chips next time and no dressing on the salad (just personal preference). Partner was pleased with the Satay- we both felt that charging for a side of rice with a satay is cheeky- it’s what I’d consider a standard inclusion for the type of restaurant.

Dessert was the lemon Italian meringue with fresh cream. Sweet, tart, and the meringue was light, fluffy and melt in the mouth.

Compliments to whomever chose the Santa Rose for the wine list, an exceptional wine that we will be adding to our own collection.

Thankyou for the warm attentive service and lovely meals.

The lady was holding tissue on her hand while serving. Not really a good thing during this pandemic.

I ordered a chicken and chorizo linguine but there was no chorizo at all.

You need to look through your menu. The selections is limited. And for what on the selections, the prices are over priced.

Lovely dining experience but we were seated near the door to outside dining (table of 10) and it was really cold. If auto door closed more quickly that would be terrific. Everything else was 👍.

The only real reason to go there is the location. Food is mediocre in general but the fish and chips are nice, big portions and fresh.
Would recommend if you want to sit outside in a fabulous spot.

Coke was flat and warm, cob loaf had no garlic butter on it even though it was a garlic butt cob loaf . Did not have my first choice so had a chicken salad that looked like it had been put together by a 2 yr old, no dressing and found glad wrap in my meal. So very disappointing and won’t be recommending this place

The customer service is not bad but not particularly friendly either. Efforts to meet customer requests could be better. The ambiance could be improved especially outside eg candles, festive lighting, music and especially patio heating so you don’t freeze to death. I think the view is what keeps this restaurant going. There seems to be a lack of enthusiasm for attention to detail.
