Food, as always, was excellent. The salmon was perfect and the special was even better. Love the ambiance here. Alive but calm. Amazing selection of oysters. Would highly recommend
Food and service is always outstanding.
Fine food, great service, but I simply do not feel that any of that justifies the price.
The food was excellent and our waiter was tremendously knowledgeable about both the food dishes and what wine would be good with the food. Everybody was very friendly and the food was top notch! Can't wait to go back.
The service was outstanding. The waiter displayed incredible knowledge of the items on the menu and was very attentive without being intrusive. We have been spoiled by the restaurants run by John Bonnell.
Jacob was the perfect host and treated my 80 yr old friend with grace and respect! It was superb!
What a great gem in Downtown Fort Worth! We started off with a wonderful crab cake followed by delicious and creamy Maine lobster macaroni and cheese. WOW, just WOW! Both set the stage; If the appetizers were that good, what will the main course be like?! We weren't disappointed! I had the special, Barramundi, as recommended by out waiter, Doug. Boy was he spot on! Presentation was on point, as were the complimentary flavors included with the dish. It was magnificent! My wife enjoyed the crab legs and they were absolutely delightful! Doug also paired a white wine that complimented the fish. The ambiance was romantic, the staff was gracious, and the meal was superb!! I'd highly recommend Waters for a date night!
The waitstaff was excellent; great friendly service. The food was good; the scallops were lovely. The main dining room was plain except for the interesting artwork hanging from the ceiling. We were seated directly below a blowing A/C vent, which was very uncomfortable. My main complaint is with the bench tables for two. They are so close together that we felt as if we were at a table for four with strangers. Overall a nice restaurant with good seafood.
Food and service was great as always. The restaurant is clean. A little pricey and noisy but fine.
Was great food. Great times
We went there for a pre marathon celebration dinner. The staff was very attentive and the food was phenomenal.
Warm atmosphere, great food and very good service. We will definitely go back!
As always food and service were impeccable. My favorite restaurant for special celebrations
Great food and service. Will go again. Being in Sundance Square makes it even better.
Oysters on the half shell, avocado and crab salad, halibut , Alaska crab cake were all exceptional ! Cheesecake was very creamy! We will return
Lovely experience. Jon Bonnell and his staff are outstanding! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Great food and excellent service.
Loud. More than I had hoped, even for a Saturday evening. Waitress was awesome, but support staff lacked tact. Main course was a little overdone and did NOT present as fresh. Dessert was not as good as I have had at Bonnells, but was the same item (creme broule ).
But the biggest disappointment was the Oysters Texafeller ☹️☹️ What happened to the oyster half shell. It just made the item feel different.
I am a huge fan of the Bonnell group, and this evening simply didn’t meet expectations or the usual standard.
Had the Dirty Dozen Oyster flight, 2pcs each of 6 different oysters, Maine and Canada, very good. Had the Crab Cake which was also excellent, good choice of cocktails, next time will try the Cobia (Kingfish). Highly recommend
We love everything about Waters! It is our favorite in Fort Worth. The Oysters are always fresh and the service is the best! Steve is like a family member.
Fabulous experience for my husband's birthday!! One of our favorites, Waters never disappoints.
Valentine’s Day Dinner was Amazing!
The Dirty Dozen was Delicious!!!
Enjoyed the food and service. Reserved table was ready, no waiting.
Hopefully it was just a fluke, but across the board the food was not that great. We have been there several times prior and it was great, but I think the kitchen staff was off their game due to the crowd at Valentine's Day weekend.
Wonderful service and food!
This has turned into our new favorite downtown Fort Worth spot. Incredible wine list and excellent chef at the head of it all who was once at Del Frisco's. They had four Valentine's Day weekend specials. Definitely chose from one of these and did not disappoint! We will be coming back here many times in the future!
Crab was a little over done. Service was fantastic.
The restaurant reminded me of dining in New Orleans and it's in Fort Worth. Fantastic!
Great service. Great food!
Had a reservation for 815. Made the reservation a month prior when there were numerous other times available. We needed a later time because of a wine tasting prior to dinner. Weren’t seated until 835. Once seated we had a table sandwiched between the hostess stand and the kitchen. Numerous employees running around muttering F bombs under their breath. I get it’s a very busy night but they clearly overbooked and made no attempt to hide it. Food was very good. Service was average. Seemed more interested in shuffling us out by that time. Won’t be returning.
Special date night/ Valentines Day dinner. Food was great and service was good. Ambiance nice.
Loved the dirty dozen oysters!!!
Waters never disappoints!! It’s our go to place for special occasions or anytime we want dinner before Scatt Jazz Lounge. Even with it being Valentines Day and number of people they made us feel like we were the most important table there. Elaine is an incredible server and never lets us down.
Everything from heirloom tomato & goat cheese salad , ribeyes and brownie for dessert.. Delicious!! Will definitely be back!
Waitress was great and the general manager came by to greet us and check in. Food was really good and the old fashion was the best.
Our first time there I brought my husband for Valentine’s Day and boy was it a treat you guys are awesome.
We had a wonderful dining experience for Valentine's Day.
Kelly was phenomenal, we enjoyed the experience and great food.
The value for the food is not adequate. The so called 10 pound lobster tail was minimal and tough for $50. The Salmon that I ordered was not salmon at all. I was served Arctic Char. The portion size was very small and was not seasoned well at all. The lobster in the lobster Mac n cheese was scarce at best! Bread was good and the oyster mushrooms was good but this place is not worth a second visit. Free valet is nice but all in all you are paying for location. The decor in the restaurant was nothing to write home about.
Paul was very attentive and made our Valentine’s Day the best ever. Food was incredible! Everything we ordered was delicious.
