Easily my favourite restaurant in Brisbane! It is perfect everytime we go there. This visit our lamb was underdone, and our steak was overdone, but based on every other time we've been here it seems like a one off.

Fantastic food - could not fault a single thing. Our waiter Tom a hugh grant lookalike was brilliant - knowledgeable, friendly and quick to help. We will definitely be back for another date night - as this might just have become our favourite Brisbane restaurant.

We ordered the Eye Fillet and New York Strip steaks and they were really good - especially the Eye Fillet, it was literally melt in the mouth. Our sides of creamed spinach and roasted mushrooms were fantastic too. Katia - our server - provided us with good service and ample information on our orders.

We were looking forward to dining at Walter's for some time, we are not locals, so the opportunities are limited to visits to Brisbane. The evening didn't disappoint us. Everything was as we expected, excellent. With one exception, the service, that was brilliant. Mitch is a gem.

We chose Walter's to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and use this special occasion to open a bottle of Grange Hermitage we had been cellaring to enjoy with a high quality steak. Walter's didn't disappoint and all of the factors we have rated as outstanding combined to ensure a wonderful and very memorable occasion. All of the staff were fabulous. They were all courteous and friendly and most accommodating regarding every aspect of our experience from our pre-dinner drinks at the bar to ordering us a cab as our evening drew to a close. The fabulous ambience only added to the occasion and our experience. The food was amazing and the Signature Porterhouse was a no brainer as our maincourse choice to accompany our fine wine. Quite simply, this was the best steak we have ever had. We extend our appreciation and many thanks to all the staff at Walter's from the bar staff, wait staff and the chefs for making our visit to Walter's a fantastic occasion to celebrate a special day. We will be back and highly recommend Walter's to anyone looking for a high quality dining experience.

Bar service was very good, but when we went to our table, we waited 30 mins to get our order in and I had to go and ask for our order to be taken. To be fair, they did apologise for the poor service and gave a complimentary dessert. Food was good, but I wouldn’t say it was great. Eaten at similar restaurants in Sydney where quality and presentation for similar price were of a much higher standard. Given it was our anniversary, I was a little disappointed in the overall experience.

We have been here several times now and whenever we are in Brisbane together we always make a point of coming. Everything is just so outstanding we just don’t want to go anywhere else. Always recommend Walters to friends living in Brisbane and they love it just as much.

Lovely atmosphere, had a drink at the bar and was pleasantly surprised by the speed and service, waited for 10 minutes which was the perfect amount of time to finish our drinks. We sat towards the middle, lovely area, lots to look at. The meals were an experience and haven’t experienced this level of service in years. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

What an amazing dining experience. Service was second to none, even with a waiter who was on their first night. Attentive, friendly, hospitable. From the welcome through to opening the door for our departure, nothing was too much for them. The food- entrees were mouth watering, delicious and satisfying. Mains was the most amazing signature porterhouse which was so tender and juicy, the best I would have had to date. Dessert- what a treat with home made peacan pie and cheesecake. Again, just sensational. Wine accompaniment and drink selection was perfect- beer glasses were clean and cold, as was the beer! Walters was truly an experience which I can not wait to repeat. Encore!

An excellent all round experience as always. Wine waiter was wonderful and suggested a lovely wine and had a very professional and knowledgeable approach. Water topped up regularly and all staff very attentive to our needs. All wait staff were fantastic. Oysters were superb and very fresh. Artisanal bread very tasty with nice butter. Mains superb and all side exceptional! Pretty reasonable value too .Great ambiance and all staff providing great service. 10 out of 10! Salad was huge and top quality!
