As a coeliac, I was very appreciative of the great food choices I had and the understanding I was shown by the staff. My companions also enjoyed both the location and the food. Staff were very busy but were attentive and very pleasant.

Food is amazing. Originally thought a bit wanky but been there 3 times now and could not fault the food. Waitress was also so good, very personable and eager to please. Not the cheapest place, but you get what you are willing to pay for!

You are almost having to shout across the table it is too loud. The service was extremely rushed and our entrees had been served with mains altogether, even though we had asked for it not to be. So by the time we got around to eating mains, it was luke warm.
We had eaten there before, and the lamb shank was served with mashed potato which nicely collected the sauce. No mash provided.
Also, my partner had to go with a FOURTH option of beer, as the first three were out/unavailable.

Thanks for your feedback, if music is too loud we're happy to move tables away from speakers where we can.As you can imagine with COVID & some products being imported its another factor we have to keep adapting to when suppliers can't supply certain stock - but although it wasn't top 3 choices we do hope number 4 was refreshing. We certainly haven't had any mash on the menu in the last 4 months but stay tuned, we'll pass your feedback on to the kitchen team & maybe we'll see it return for winter

The view and location is outstanding ..the service is excellent and there is a good variety of foods to suit most tastes.. on this occasion the fifth time I have been to this restaurant one of the dishes was a little disappointing and on speaking to the server the restaurant offered an alternative dish which we were very satisfied with.

Dined here with 5 guests on a Friday night. Upon booking, our confirmation email stated we would have 2.5 hours at our table, we were pushed out after 2 despite many other empty tables around us that could be used to seat guests.
We ordered more drinks, which did not come. A non alcoholic cocktail was more expensive than a normal cocktail??
We weren’t offered any dessert or anything else, our plates were just cleared and our bill was given to us.
Overall, the let down was the service. Our night would have greatly been improved if the waiters had have done their jobs properly - not to mention the more money we would have spent there if they had of been more attentive. We noticed many waiters were floating around, yet none seemed to have a designated area to wait on- maybe this is part of the poor service/ poor communication.
Such a shame for a Friday night out with friends.

Food was beautiful and first waitress was great. It all went downhill after food was served. Most staff wore masks under their nose. Coffee and dessert orders were taken, but coffee machine had been cleaned, so no coffee was served. Toilets were not looking clean and tidy. During covid, I found this unacceptable. Waitress taking dessert orders had left her pad and picked up a used napkin from the table to write orders on. And then they had added our unnerved coffees to the bill.

Service was a little poor tonight. We had to flag down a waitress to get drinks on several occasions as we weren’t asked at any stage. It seemed the place was too busy to handle what they took on, it seemed more important to turn over tables than serve who they had. Pretty disappointing as we met a friend we hadn’t seen all year from W.A. Food was great as always.

The entrees and share plates were delish but I’m pretty sure the kitchen forgot about our mains and they seemed pretty thrown together. The entire table was very unimpressed with our Nasi Goreng.... was very bland. Our curry noodles were extremely soggy and the dish lacked flavour. Service was great!

Great food. Can’t phone at all! Phones don’t go through. Frustrating. Can’t modify booking in the last week online. Vegetarian Massaman curry, tasty but very few Veg. Other food choices were excellent.

Lovely food. Service was good but a bit slow. Cocktail jugs were not great value. Very clean place, nice feel to it, quite loud and hard to have a conversation tho.

Very slow service to receive food after been rushed to order because of time limit but was able to stay after as there was no reservation after us.
Not friendly service and a stuff up when paying the bill.
Will not be returning.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We do have 2-hour seating's so we encourage guests to order within the first half an hour so they can enjoy their meals without being rushed on the other end. I am glad our team let you stay longer as your table didn't have another booking on it. Due to having a lot of new staff that we are training this is great feedback for us to improve on. Food was fabulous..always love eating here..unfortunately this time the service was very poor...it took at least15 minutes for our drinks to come..only 1 barman and he was definitely under the pump...second drinks took even longer..we ordered dessert with the drinks and got dessert first and that took ages..very disappointed with service but love the food..this is first time I’ve had this problem..will go again and hope it is better.

We will never return Wa Wa Gee provided the poorest services we've ever encountered. My husband & I were prepared to walk out prior to meals being served due to the poor service & the incredible loud base music. However we stayed because our young daughters had been looking forward to a special dinner. The tables were dirty, we repetitively had to ask if we could order drinks, dinner, meals were served to our tabled that were order by another who were also equally having as much bad service & we had to ask where are our drinks which came after we finished our meal! Staff were wandering around avoiding serving tables. You would think after COVID service would be optimal to have patrons return.

Too loud to sit and have dinner. We we have to yell at each other to make a small conversation. If anyone thinking of going for dinner BYO ear plugs would come in handy.

Food was amazing as always, but the table service was shocking which amazed me as I’d eaten here before with no issues. It wasn’t busy either. Our drinks were made incorrectly twice & ended up ordering our espresso martini’s at the bar which we say made & left to sit on the bar for 15mins before being delivered to our table.

Starters were great. Nasi Goreng was terrible. Chicken dry and the rice was a claggy ball... may husband and I couldn't eat our meals. Our table was put in a wind tunnel, while the waitress did all that she could to find another table for us unfortunately as we had five the location we were in was the only option...

On previous visits Wah Wah Gee has been fantastic but we were extremely disappointed this time. The service was appalling and the food was extremely slow. Understand that it was very busy but considering our booking was at 6.15pm, we left at 8.45pm whilst still waiting for dessert as we were dining with two young children. Won’t be rushing back

We found Wah Wah Gee to be very noisy making it difficult to have a conversation. The food was fine but the service was slow and we had a number of orders mixed up. Overall it was disappointing because I booked for the group as I have been before and really enjoyed it.

Poor poor poor customer service. Waited 5 min to be seated while there was staff behind the bar chatting away and having a laugh. The “waiter” seemed like he didn’t know he was working and was just casually chatting away with other staff. Had to be waved at multiple times. When cleaning the tables, the waiter made more of a mess than what needed to be cleaned. Throughout the whole lunch There was a cutlery tray sitting on top of the booth seat and cutlery being dropped in clunking away above our heads.

Music was way too loud to talk about the table.
Meals were all brought out wrong and main course come out with entree.

My friends and I had made a booking for dinner at Wah Wah Gee. We arrived and were seated, however we weren't served for over half an hour, not even for drinks. We had the waiting staff walking past us multiple times and we were clearly signalling that we were ready to order, but no one came to take our order. In the end we walked out and dined somewhere else due to the ridiculous wait time. Yes, it was busy, but that is no excuse, there should have been more wait staff on.

Very poor service. Wait times took forever. Poor management not the staffs fault. Food was overpriced. Pork crackling was burnt, chips were raw. Definitely gone down hill since we last visited. Shame.
