We wanted to have Wagyu Sukiyaki but we did not know that it must be pre-order, so on the date at the table we ordered 3 Wagyu cuts plate for BBQ, green salad and a combination of veggie cuts. The meat is not very tender as Wagyu should be, and the serve is small compare to other places that we have been to. Overall, it is just OK and average.

Overall good food, could be more in volume. I was happy with the dining but we were done in 45 minutes which was energetic to say the least!

Meat is very fresh, but some of the dishes about steak and eggplant are very salty.

My husband and I decided to take my parents here for their birthdays! There was a group of six of us and we all did the $55 all you can eat menu. It was amazing and we all had such a wonderful time. Great food, fun experience, lovely service and we left feeling full! They even gave mum and dad a Sakè each on the house for their birthdays!
Thank you for a great night Wagyu One :)

Traveling in Australia looking for different types of food. We love Japanese food and saw that this restaurants served Sukiyaki which is hard to find at most restaurants. The food was good, but could use more vegetables, mushrooms, etc. The beef was hard to chew as the pieces were large and chop sticks don't cut it well. It was a pleasant atmosphere and the service was super.

Nice setting restaurant. It was fun grilling the raw Waygu meats. The Waygu was delicious, but was disappointed with Steak set, as the steak was over cooked by the time it arrived to the table. The vegetarian dishes were ok.

Japanese barbecue with amazing meats is what we come here for. The service, quality and ambiance is what keeps bringing us back (3 times in the last 5 months is pretty great, considering the selection of restaurants across Melbourne).

Definitely one to try if you're considering.

Seems like they are shorthanded. Only two waitresses were there. And the attitude of the waitresses were lower than expectation. I asked whether she can BBQ the beef for us, and she seems very unhappy with that and didn't help us.

For meat that melts in your mouth...
A random visit over a year ago for a birthday, has turned this venue into one that we keep coming back on a regular basis. The standard set menu is amazing, giving you a selection of sashimi, tempura and of course, the meat for BBQ! Love that these guys are on OpenTable now. Makes it even easier to book!
