Food good but not very good
Wine arrived after entree’s
Had to request table candle be lit, after all the others had been lit.. waitress had completed task but forgot our table..
View good however..
Food was amazing! Service was a little lacking. We had to chase up staff for service and they offered no advice which would have been helpful as we had a table of 8 and were ordering share plates.
Very limited menu and portion sizes are small. Me and my wife got the bugs and mine were stone cold and hers were warm. Staff were not that enthusiastic or friendly. We got there at 8:15 for a 8:30 booking. Didn’t get seated till 8:50. With no explanation we just stood there wondering what was happening
Was so impressed by Three Blue Ducks, the food and atmosphere was amazing.
Wait staff were very friendly and attentive; there was an eagerness to please. The staff offered helpful suggestions and the courses were spaced well to allow us to have a comfortable and relaxed meal.
Great service with awesome food that is sourced from across regional Australia I would only recommend as a group thing as it is a must to be able to share!!!
I was very disappointed the deserts had changed. Especially no meringue & chocolate parfait
Great spot and the presentation was great. However the details were severely lacking. Numerous wait staff served us creating confusion for them.
At every occasion we stressed my wife had coeliac disease. They still got it wrong.
If you can’t get the basics right everything else is irrelevant.
Oh and getting the salt and pepper right would also be a good thing
Amazing food and Service, a little bit noisy but was complimented by the excellent food and service
The service was really slow and the food was less than average - small portions size for a big price.
Atmosphere was lovely. Food was nice. Waited a tad too long to be seated but overall good experience.
The food, wine, ambience and service were excellent!
Needs more non seafood options or smaller starters to compensate
The food was way terrible. we had a valentine package, but the chicken liver was grossed and Morton bay bugs were too salty. It was only 4 course but it cost you $130 per person, overpriced.
Food good but not outstanding- betel leaf had too many raw ingredients, Morton bay bug
had a side that was not nice. View and service brilliant. Wine list also fantastic. I expected fresh wholesome food but the execution was not great.
Absolutely outstanding food and service. Well done guys!
Strong Chilli in dishes that the waitress said wasn’t there and wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Strong gust of wind blew all of the wine glassses over in the resteruany. No replacement wine was offered. Very overpriced for valentines set meal. Probably won’t go back
The food was tasty, well cook and well presented. However it was over priced and not much choice. The view is lovely, if you were at a table beside the window but the restaurant lighting was terrible noise and ambience wasn’t as hoped. The restaurant had more like a hotel buffet restaurant vibe.
Food was excellent especially the mussels ! The only slight gripe I have was when I had the chocolate parfait which h qml lovely but so frozen it was difficult to cut off a piece and asked if it could be served with a little cream or ice cream on the side and was charged an extra $7.50 for a small scoop of icecream!. I will be back though .
The flavours of the food were incredible. Service not so much. Table half an hour late, then waited for several minutes before offered drinks, both bread and entrée came out before our bottle of wine. They could improve on timing of service.
What a wonderful night celebrating our anniversary at three blue ducks. Food, drinks, service and view outstanding!
Food & service were excellent. But for an anniversary dinner we would have preferred something a little more intimate. It is a very noisy restaurant
Wonderful waitress, wonderful view.
Average food and cocktails were watery with hardly a drop of alcohol.
There is just too much good competition out there.
Good Food, Great Service; Good for Party. Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good, but Not The Best.
The atmosphere was alright, but definitely had more of a daytime vibe.
The cocktails to start were light and inoffensive.
The food was all significantly over cooked. The starter and both mains were hot when they hit the table (the kitchen likely didn’t allow them to rest) and were very overdone. Flavours were OK, but nothing noteworthy.
Overall, it was poor value at $200 for two people. At half the price I still wouldn’t rush back.
Great service from Carl's our waiter, excellent food and great view - an evening to remember
This was our second visit and we loved it! The service was just as good as the first time around and the team were so knowledgeable.
The food was amazing and the guests we bought along loved it too.....Thank You!
Double 50th birthday, made both of us feel special, was a nice night out with great food and venue
Loved it and will be back. Fantastic cocktails and wow Cloud catcher on tap. Chicken main was superb.
Fantastic food - fresh, beautifully prepared and delicious - in a very well designed, friendly setting... and a river view. Highly recommend.
Thanks again for the great service and the beautiful food. This is exactly why we keep coming back!
Beautiful ambience at Three Blue Ducks, view for the fireworks was stunning. Loved the oval-shaped dining table and mixed series of seating, everything felt intentional but relaxed. Food was delicious. The mussels were incredible!!! We had the lamb and chicken shared style with sides added for 8 people (3 lambs, 2 chickens and the mussels and we were rolling home!). Jacob looked after us - service was spot on, he allowed us to take our time (several times over), he had a gentle and relaxed manner about him but delivered on all we asked - he even sang happy birthday twice at our table. Thanks for a great night Three Blue Ducks! x
Was not going to come here since the restaurant I booked did not open on Ausi Day. Great ambience with glass doors opening up for the view if South Bank. So surprised to see the fireworks! Food was OK with the grills a bit overrgrilled. Side desserts and dessert was great. My friends and I had a great time at the corner table that I requested.
Great food, most of the time portion sizing was good.
Duck liver parfait is to die for!!
Bit rich - both the food and prices - but great service from my waiter Yves made the overall great experience
Lovely experience for our anniversary dinner, the staff where amazing and the Lamb shoulder was to die for.
Our food was very average. The starter and desert we had were beautiful but we were very disappointed with our main dishes and sides dishes. The steak was very poor quality with a lot of sinew and a lot of wast to be honest. I would recommend going for nibbles and drinks because the ambience and the view are quite nice but the meals were over priced for what you get.
I would recommend anyone to go to the Byron Bay location however the Brisbane location is way to noisy with the traffic which is a shame as the food is amazing and I feel the owners could have got such a better location.
You could tell the seasoned staff to the new staff. Some training would help.
