Menu was overpriced and too limited. The wine by the glass is very restricted , we ordered a pint size beer and were given a schooner size.

Food is nice - rustic rather than refined - with interesting flavours and combinations. Service on our visit was appalling - slow, intrusive, sloppy, inattentive, condescending (a friend asked for cream with the rich chocolate dessert and was completely dismissed). After mains a staff member came with a wet chux cloth and wiped the table quite vigorously in front of us. Staff seemed young and inexperienced and when we quietly mentioned our disappointment with the service as we paid we were loudly questioned "What was the problem? You have a problem??" which made us feel uncomfortable. The restaurant is not really cosy or intimate the view at the front is spectacular but the back feels like a breakfast buffet space. Not really a five star experience or 'Three Ducks' experience either.

This is Brisbane's hottest new restaurant, great food, wonderful service (Jamie Krog), view to die for, tables well space to make conversations private and would be perfect for business dinner/lunch or a date night. I will be back!

We love the Three Blue Ducks Byron but live in Brisbane, so we were super excited to have our own TBD in Brissy and we were not disappointed! The food is to die for so make sure you don’t eat much beforehand. The staff are very friendly, informative & attentive. The ambience is perfectly set by mood lighting, decor & river views. Highly recommend Theee Blue Ducks.

this is the second time I've dined at the restuarant. I was prepared to give the place a chance to pick up on the service but last Saturday was very disappointing - the food is good but the service is inattentive, inexperienced and very poorly trained - i fear that unless that is addressed urgently the business will suffer despite the beauty of the place and very good food that is available.
This comes froma 3 Blue Ducks fan, thus my disappointment about sevicing levels now on two occasions. I won't be returning until it's addressed. Wine list is also below par.

Interesting new restaurant, part of the new W Brisbane Hotel. We selected 3 seafood dishes, which we shared. The fresh seafood (sandcrab and prawns) where very fresh and tasty, although the prawn serving was small, and the grilled bugs were delicious. It would be great if they put together a seafood platter to take advantage of the local products. Overall very enjoyable.

We recently held a work function at 3 Blue Ducks. We had a table outside on the verandah overlooking the river which was just beautiful. Was a bit concerned about the noise from passing traffic but found that because we were on the 3rd floor, traffic only a distant hum. Waiter very attentive & pleasant with nothing too much trouble. Even found a different chair for one of our guests who had a sore back. Food, while expensive, was delicious, well presented with generous portions. And as for the wine list - the selection was almost overwhelming there were that many choices. I would definitely recommend 3 Blue Ducks for a special occasion or if you want to treat someone but maybe not for a casual meal.

Nice pre-theatre dinner before a show at QPAC. We would recommend the sweet potato hummus with flat bread and the pumpkin vegetarian main course was very tasty.
Service is great and the location overlooking the Brisbane river and Southbank is very appealing

Disappointing.
Casual Dining.
Lots of noise in a vacuous space. All concrete and glass made it echo.
Both loud conversation and music on top.
Small menu food was OK but nothing special.
Had Moreton Bay Bugs, Prawns and Baramundi which was the pick of the three, the bugs ordinary and a bit dry the prawns had soft and floury flesh.
Prices were high more suitable for fine dining.
Wait service was however was exceptional.

We love the vibe of 3 Blue Ducks! Classy, elegant, stylish but has a relaxed feel as well. Not too noisy, but enough atmosphere so you feel relaxed enough to chat and laugh. Food is amazing, great service and this is now one of our favourite go-tos!

Firstly, Jamie (tha manager) is an absolute legend and such a professional. Secondly, Three Blue Ducks have nailed the balance of 'healthy yet decadent' . And finally, the venue is incredible, one of the best views in Brisbane!

This was our first visit to Three Blue Ducks. We were celebrating and it was a lovely venue. We enjoyed the food, particularly the Moreton Bay bugs and the Lamb Shoulder for two or three. However the prawns were a little over cooked for our liking. The staff were super sweet but every few minutes someone would come asking us if we had ordered things we had not. Not much management supervision and a little haphazard. It is popular and on a Friday Night it was buzzing and busy but we found the noise levels really quite high.

Drinks took ages to come out
Food was average with small and un-filling portions. Prawns were hard to eat.

Good selection of beers and alcohol, dessert was on point.

Service is below average for the name of W hotel, waiter kept interrupting during dinner and kept trying to take plates away before we finished the food, also kept coming to check us out during dinner, making us all feel uncomfortably rushed, and not welcomed. Food is average, dessert is the highlight of the night. tables are too close to each other, so its quite noisy and have to raise voice to talk with friends.

Great first visit to Three Blue Ducks. Food was delicious and the service was super friendly.
Our table of 4 adults and shared meals was a little tight on the small table but overall such a nice night.

My 2nd visit to 3 Blue Ducks. It’s new and chic, and the river view is indeed stunning. 1st time for breakfast and it’s great & well presented. When I was trying to look for a pair of chopsticks from the buffet table (there’s no chopsticks actually), the Chinese chef is so kind & thoughtful to give me a pair of his personal brand new chopsticks for use. This is the best service I’ve had amongst the hotels at the city centre. This time I have friends’ dinner here that they keep excellent services. The lamb shoulder was perfectly cooked. Will definitely come back again & highly recommend.
