   My wife had halibut, and I had mussels for dinner. Her halibut was the best she ever had, and my mussels were spicy, very nice, and were accompanied by four slices of crisp garlic bread. We ate outside on the terrace on a warm evening, and found a table in the shade. (The terrace is on the west side.) It was a very pleasant dinner, but service was a little slow to respond when we wanted to add a salad. Wine was $16 for the lowest price Cab.

   This is a lovely restaurant! We went for breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to coming for dinner! You can have a lovely breakfast and then head right outside for a farmers market in the summer! Perfect!

    Chared oysters - sensational Endive salad - amazingly different and so good Spaghetti squash - kinda blah and way overpriced. The new bread is also a Huge improvement. Looking forward to seeing what improvements the new Chef will be bringing to the menu. I want to love this place but it’s not quite there yet. 🤞🏻

    Our server was stellar in her professional and courteous service. She was attentive and anticipated all of our our table of four dining needs.     Great service from our waiter. Ambience was great Drinks were on point. Fish was mediocre. Dessert had a freezer burn taste to it. Chicken pot pie was decent. I’d definitely go again but skip dessert. I’d eat dessert at that cake shop that’s walking distance.

    We came here to do something special for breakfast on Mother’s Day. The dining area is quite elegant. . . very bright and open, tables all set, we were very impressed. We came early to avoid the Mother’s Day crowd and the staff seemed confused and unprepared for customers. One of us was given a dinner menu and it took forever to get the replacement breakfast menu and then when we asked a question, we were casually told of things that were not on the menu (without description or prices). The food was pretty good and the Mimosas were delicious, but the staff just took away from our experience. I’m hoping it was just because we were there early and the staff was distracted getting prepared for the Mother’s Day brunch.

    This was our First time dining here. The atmosphere is quite nice. Although the menu is not gigantic the entrees were well prepared and tasty. It would be nice to have additional appetizer selections though. The service was good, but hopefully will improve as the staff gains experience, as they all seemed to be young and a little unsure of themselves. When I ask the server what they think of a menu item I want to know what they think, not that an item is popular, but this seems to be the common response in all restaurants now. The sea bass was excellent. I liked the crispy savory outside but left the fish itself nice and moist.

    We've dined at Vivante several times (convenient before a Palladium performance); this time it was disappointing. Our entree's were served lukewarm (duck and risotto) - we knew if it was placed under the salamander to heat up- the duck would get dry and the risotto would get gummy. So while it was lukewarm to begin with, the risotto (and it was under seasoned) was stone cold mid-way through as well as the duck. Cool temperature duck is ok- but cold risotto is off-putting. Our side of roasted brussel sprouts, while listed as sharable- there were only 10 sprouts; and they were under cooked- barely roasted. We had ordered these before and was served a sharable portion. We had to ask for steak knives for our entre' these should have been automatically brought out prior to serving the entre'. It would have been nice for the server to wipe down the table after entre' dishes were cleared, before dessert was served. The one thing that was perfect-, our server knew to put in our souffle order as the entre' was served to allow the 30 minutes needed to cook- plus giving us time to rest in between courses. As what is to be fine dining- a little more work on the service- kitchen timing with food runners is needed. While this is really a hotel issue- but it truly affects the dining experience, is the signature scent that is heavy and is very strong at the side entrance that leads directly to the dining room - is not a welcome scent when you are drinking wine and eating food. Perhaps the hotel should address this; FYI your team members do not like it either- but they have gotten used to it.

    Had reservations confirmed, had guests with us, and when we arrived at the restaurant it was locked and a sign announced that it was closed. We were given no notice. All of us were deeply disappointed, and I felt embarrassed as I had spoken highly of the restaurant prior to our guests. Not sure I would ever return.

    We booked a table to celebrate my husband's birthday and as soon as we arrived, we realized that things have changed in what was once a fabulous French restaurant serving noteworthy and delicious food. Upon arrival, we ordered drinks at the bar, the old fashioned was mediocre at best, presented by a server who was uninterested. We proceeded to our table, that was located in the bar area, the only table in the bar for two people.....although there was plenty of tables in the actual restaurant area. I did not want to fuss as it was my husbands birthday, but very disappointed in where they seated us. When we looked at the menu, we realized that all the delicious French offerings had gone. It was very apparent that the serving team that took such excellent care of us last time and the chef had all gone. We played safe with a charcuterie board and chicken pot pie. The board was ok, nothing special and the pot pie was inedible. The fries were frozen, not the fancy expensive hand cut ones they claim on the menu. It was clear things had dramatically changed since our last visit. We were asked for feedback by a lovely guy who has been brought in to "get things back on track" and he confirmed the chef had left and we later found out most of the fabulous serving team had left and the few remaining are leaving soon. This is not a French restaurant. It is not serving high quality noteworthy food and it is not worthy of the prices listed on the menu. The food we were served last night was no better than food that we have eaten in local diners and that is insulting local diners. To be fair, they took care of our check because it was that bad. That was a very nice gesture on their part as I feel the remaining employees are in a difficult situation trying their best to serve out food they know to be inferior to what was once fabulous. This is not a French restaurant no longer, not even close.

    We had spent the night in the hotel and so we ate breakfast here The next morning Beautiful place …excellent service ..however the food was average which was a little disappointing as everything else was very nice ….I will say the coffee was very good .
