The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, the staff were friendly and professional, the service was excellent and the food and wine was very good, served promptly. Altogether a wonderful experience for a special occasion dinner.

The quality of the food was pretty bad, I asked for no bacon and no onion rings in my burger and it still came with them. Someone else ordered a $55 steak which was a piece of meat with a wedge of lemon and a tablespoon of some sprouts, no veggies/salad/sides which you get elsewhere for a fraction of the price.

The breakfast options are buffet or al a carte. We decided on the al a carte menu as it was my sister’s birthday. We both ordered the big breakfast and the buttermilk pancakes with honeycomb cream. in my opinion, the food was not made to order and we suspected that the food came from the buffet. This was disappointing as we were expecting higher quality dishes from the menu.

The restaurant is nice enough and situated in a prime location right in the heart of Brisbane. I went went with my wife for dinner because I was looking for a good steak. I ordered the Wagyu steak medium rare and expected a tender, juicy cut of beef. Sadly, the expectation did not meet reality. My steak was medium to medium-well and lacking flavor. I usually prefer a steak without any additional toppings. Salt and pepper should be enough seasoning, but I found myself needing to use the red wine sauce that came with it to add both flavor and moisture to the steak. Just not worth the $50+ price tag.

That being said, my wife ordered the pork chop which was nice and we ordered a side of the carrots which were also very nicely prepared. The service was good, waitstaff was attentive and polite. Overall I would say it’s a nice place for a glass of wine, but find somewhere else if you’re looking for a good steak.

We had the $35 Lunch Special - two courses, entree and main! I had the steak tartare, and barra on pea risotto and my friend had salmon salad, and grilled miso eggplant - all meals were divine!

Service was friendly and efficient. Surrounds were relaxed and comfortable.

Perfect for midday lunch catch-up.

We enjoyed lunch from your $35 menu and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We were not expecting a complementary glass of wine with our meal or coffee to finish. Our waitress Sophie was more than delightful and made us feel very comfortable. I have already told family that they must try vintage bar and grill and will be telling work colleagues the same.

great lunch time location to take your clients. our 1st time and won't be the last. food was exceptional, service was attentive at the right moments. the lunch time all inclusive meal including entrée, main, wine and coffee is perfect

Restaurant was quiet, with the grill not fired up. Steak was disappointing, tough to cut. Excellent wine to accompany the steak. Wine list is extensive.

Our experience was good without being memorable or noteworthy. The oysters and Moreton bay bugs in miso butter were quite tasty, however the desserts fell a bit flat. If you’re in the area it’s an option but probably not a destination restaurant.

Well timed serviced despite being the Christmas dinner service. Surrounding diners were not so understanding of this however, we did not let it dampen our night. Great entrées and well portioned mains and sides. Was nice to finish the evening with a complimentary dessert, truly getting into the Christmas spirit! Will return again for sure.

Everything about our lunch was wonderful.

There was a bit of a mix-up with our payment, but I must congratulate the manager and staff for their honesty and willingness to help. I was very impressed and will definitely be returning.

Thank you so much. The whole experience was so incredible! This was the first time my partner and I weren’t able to be together during a birthday as I am overseas but the Vintaged Bar and Grill team helped to make the experience memorable for us both. They set up a quieter table with a beautiful happy birthday message and card with a custom message that I provided. The service was wonderful and made us both feel comfortable even though my partner had set up a laptop across from him.

We normally wouldn't book the restaurant in the hotel we are staying, preferring to venture out into the city. However Vintaged look amazing and it didnt disappoint. Pricing was on the high side as were the drinks (typical though of a premium hotel)..I do always wonder at the value (or logic) of $18 for a glass of Chardonnay!?? That aside, the food was fabulous and the service was wonderful - I highly recommend Vintaged to anyone staying at the Hilton or just as a standalone night out.

The lunch special is a great meal deal. We had a great meal and enjoyed our wine and coffee with our two courses. We had great friendly service and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It’s a great place to meet in the city and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Will definitely be back.

I had some very important clients to entertain over a breakfast meeting so naturally I thought of The Hilton. The venue is superb but let down by the following:

1/ Everyone one of us(a party of six in total) had poached eggs which were all overcooked. Not one poached egg had a runny yoke.
2/ I had to get up several times to find a waiter to take our order or to get additional service.
3/ The six of us were seated around this circular table which was way too cramped for our party.

Not very impressed with this restaurant in a 4 star hotel. 5 star in price but 2 star in food quality and quantity. Environment is not very nice. Like casual dining. Not vegetarian friendly even with vegan menu. We had to a Second Diner after dining with them. Very poor experience. Sorry to say unfortunately.

The food was fantastic. I had the zucchini entree and snapper main. Both were delicious. The service was of a high standard and loved getting a coffee to finish the meal. The lunch special is such good value for money.

The cocktail bar was great. The service at the restaurant was very good but the food was sadly below average and the table settings were also very average. The vegan eggplant was such a tiny serve and was mostly inedible. The duck was ok but quite tough and possibly undercooked. Dessert was very nice though.

Reconnected with a former work colleague over lunch. The food was really good, service was great and the current lunch special was extraordinary value. What a gem of a place in a great city location. Will definitely be back again!

We really enjoyed our evening at Vintaged Bar and Grill. The food and service was fantastic. Having a separate vegan menu was a bonus as it's always difficult finding restaurants that provide vegan options.

We ordered the mixed grill of Seafood, cooked to perfection. Also the side of chips was delicious. Staff friendly & helpful, although a long wait in getting our cheese at the end, given a free glass of Torquey for this. However, the seafood dish was quite small but we enjoyed it. It wasn’t until after we left we realized there was no Crab served. The menu stated a swimmer crab. At $95 I would expect nothing would be left off. Disappointed, as our meal was close to perfect.

Entree (polenta) yummy. Main (curry) too many chickpeas - needed other veg/ more sauce. Side sauces not nice. Popadum and naan oily. Husband said eggplant main was okay. Dessert (chocolate mousse) delicious. Loved contrast between very rich mousse and the sorbet/grapefruit and nuts. Vegan side dish was lovely.
